The Delmotte Imperial Navy Fleet

The Delmotte Imperial Navy Fleet is a maritime branch of the Regalian Empire's Armed Forces engaged with naval warfare under Wing Admiral Étienne Delmotte. It consists of numerous warships with their respective captains and companies containing sailors, soldiers, marines and even mages.

The ranks of this fleet may take part in meetings with the Wing Admiral, giving them the unique ability to determine the line of conduct of certain battles with their maritime insight and skills, for better or for worse. Furthermore, tradition calls for all ships in the fleet to be named in d'Ithanie or with their d'Ithanie equivalent.

The Wing Admiral

Stands at the forefront of the fleet and issues orders to the captaincy for the purpose of achieving certain (pre-)determined objectives.

The Captaincy

Stand at the helm of their ships and lead their crew into confrontation with the enemy, issuing orders amidst conflict to ensure victory over the opposition. Must have +10 Proficiency Points in Captain Tactic Skill.

The Arcane

Provide mystical advice and services to the Admiral and the captaincy, their knowledge and spells may prove vital to change the course of a battle to guarantee success. Must have Proficiency Points in any Sorcery Category and/or Magical Knowledge, or possess a magespark.

The Tacticians

Work together and in cooperation with the Wing Admiral before and during the course of a confrontation, advising the Admiral with their tactical maritime mindsets. Must have +10 Proficiency Points in Admiral Tactic Skill.

Cover the use of Marine tactics, directing the boarding of an enemy vessel and/or amphibious assaults but also the use of cannons. Must have Proficiency Points in Marine Tactic Skill.

The Surgeons

Responsible for the health of a ship's company, providing medical care to those in need before, during and after battle. Also responsible for regulating sanitary conditions. Must have Proficiency Points in Medical Sciences.
