❮CURAE I - Declaration of Reformation for the Offenbarung Holyday❯

Upon debate within the Conclave regarding a specific public essay, the Synod has taken the message the public have given and gathered together to discuss the matter of reforming the Offenbarung Holyday, also known as Revelation Day. For those unaware, the 25th of January of each year is a celebratory day for all Unionists to celebrate the First Union of the Imperial Spirit and the Regalian Emperor Theomar I, Segen sei auf ihm. It was on this fateful day many decades ago when the Imperial Spirit revealed its nature and the Unionist Great Way began.

Due to the tumultuous period, the Unionist populace have been under, with famine, war and the loss of the Imperial Family's Holdings beneath heretical mist, the Synod has decided to enact a reform of the isolated nature of the Offenbarung celebrations and simultaneously host the first Holy City Offenbarung in dedication to Emperor Theomar I, and the current incarnation of the Imperial line, Emperor Alexander I.

❮CURAE 2 - Specifics of Offenbarung Holyday Reform❯

In accordance with the new communal overtones, the Synod wishes to project onto the Offenbarung Holyday, all Humanum are asked to begin their day with the following prayer asking the Imperial Spirit for companionship and unity within the community, which shall be repeated at the beginning of the festivities:

Hail, His Most Holiness, Imperial Majesty Theomar the First,

Blessed be those that carry your blood forever more,

May the Ten Predictions ring true in the eyes of the Faithful.

May my brethren in the Union smile upon me.

Imperial Spirit, I beg of you to allow me to celebrate your glory on this day.

Neben Mir!

Further, the Synod wishes to celebrate the culture of all Unionist peoples, alongside that of the Imperial Culture, to represent the diversity and adaptability of the superior Ailor race. As such the following is requested of the nobility:

  1. That all attend in the form of a singular representative, or the family on a whole.
  2. That all present a table of food for the public and fellow nobility to dine upon that is related to their mother culture at the Offenbarung. How much food is brought will be expected to be larger based on the ranking of nobility.
  3. That all do not shy from public singing, prayer or dance with their fellow Unionists, regardless of their class.
  4. That all remain in a positive social mood, regardless of differences presented by culture.
  5. The Imperial Family as expected are invited to the celebration and shall be offered the treatment of respect and praise for their duties as the ruling members of our Empire.

As well, the following for the general public:

  1. That all attend to rejoice in the Revelation of Emperor Theomar I.
  2. It is important for us during a holiday as such to unite and be friendly towards each other. Therefore, we implore all to put aside petty squabbles for this day in order to celebrate peacefully and present the unity our Empire possesses. All should refrain from throwing insults at others during the event. Those who go even further as to compliment or offer a gift to their enemies for the holiday shall receive praise for their hard work and dedication to our Empire and her people.
  3. Those commoners that attend shall be respectful to the Nobility and Synod present. The esteemed Noble Houses have been entrusted with rule over the peoples of the Empire and therefore should receive respect and gratitude for their duties.
  4. That all enjoy the food.
  5. That all take part in the public singing, prayer or dance with their fellow Unionists, regardless of their class and enjoy conversation about how we all are connected under the Great Way.
For the festivities, to assist the elders of the Synod, festivity leaders will be selected to run specific festive acts such as:

  1. Recital of songs from all around the Empire.
  2. Recital of poetry from all around the Empire.
  3. Dances from all around the Empire.
  4. Feasting, from the varied cultural cuisine the feast will hold.
  5. A raffle, the winner of which shall receive a prize at the end of the night.
A statement praising those who in the eyes of the Synod excelled at the communal aspects of this celebration shall be made after the event.

❮CURAE 3 - Statement on Community❯

While the Synod appreciates the voice of the populace, especially from fervent Unionist groups, we do not acknowledge the One-Eyes as affiliated with the Synod nor the Unionist Divine and as such, they are simply a vocal fringe group. That said, we encourage the populace to speak with the Synod about their thoughts, concerns, suggestions and praises of the Unionist Divine's work.
