Core Concept
Heishan was born under fell circumstance, beneath the light of the Crimson Moon, when it is thought Demons are at the peak of their strength. Perhaps it is the celestial circumstance of her birth that has caused all the misfortune in this woman's life. Heishan's story is that of tragedy - she has lost her family, her nation, and her very God all within a relatively short amount of time - for nearly half a decade she has known only grief, and that grief has long fueled a boiling rage deep within her. Instead of internalizing her despair at the world's fate, she lashes out, in all directions, to slay those she believes responsible for Aloria's decaying state of being. She calls herself Heishan - a mountain charred black - under belief she is to summit a mountain of burned-black corpses, and look over valleys of flowing blood, before she will ever see the world saved.
Heishan is a Draconist, with syncretic relations to Nilthism. Once, she was undyingly loyal to Caius' cause, for she could understand the Dragon's rage, it is the same sort of disgust, desperation, and despair she herself felt at times. In his passing, however, she has turned to now praise Triton, dragon god of warfare, in her unending preparation to fight the wars of the Dragons, and keep the Blind God bound.

Fighting Style
Heishan's fighting style can only be described as 'brutish' or 'caveman-like'. She's a far-cry from the elegant swordsmen or enlightened mountain monks of her homeland, for she is a fighter without grace. Heishan fights with a barbarian's rage and a berserker's tenacity, utilizing her physical strength to overpower her opponents through sheer might, and superior constitution to weather any blows that might come her way. Heishan has a preference towards versatile broadswords that can be used in a one handed or two handed manner when she chooses, specifically she favors the Dao, but will also use blunted weapons like maces or clubs when she is not looking to lob head and limb off.

Life Story
Circumstance of Birth | A Sihai is born in a small village on the far southern tip of the kingdom of Huo-Chang, set between two mountains and bordering the Jade Sea. She is born by midnight, at the zenith of a terrible omen, a lunar eclipse. This ill-omen would forever leave a mark on her in the form of auburn hair, and she would be named Tsukiko after the red moon that watched over her birth. Tsukiko is the last child of five, and she grows up with two older brothers and two older sisters, and a handful of cousins.
A Carefree Childhood | Tsukiko grows up in humble circumstances. The landscape of her village is arid in one half of the year, and has a river running through it in the other half of the year. Her family consists of craftsmen and yam-farmers, who are all veterans of the Jade Wall (within her Clan, it was considered a rite of passage to stand in defense against the Akula). She is schooled by her parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her neighbors in some way or form. Her family is a martial family, and she is quick to learn how to use a weapons. She is also quick to lose interest in a martial lifestyle. She is a poor student, has a low capacity for attention, and would much rather just play outside all day. It wasn't a common occurrence to find her slacking off when it was time to do chores or not paying attention when it was time to learn. Her mother had to take a strict hand with her.

A Night of Flame, Blood, and Prophecy | ...
Nothing was the same since.
The Black Mountain | With her home reduced to smoldering ruins, and having been lanced with a prophetic vision amongst the trauma of losing her family, Tsukiko casts off her birth-name, as is traditional for eighteen-year-olds at the dawn of their adult life, and takes the name 'Kuroyama'. Kuroyama, clutching shattered right arm, walks, lost and exhausted, for three days and four nights until she can walk no more. On the fourth dawn a merchant in a cart finds her and takes the injured young woman to a city with a temple. He was kind enough to pay to have her seen by a temple's doctor. She never saw the man again, and does not remember his name. He saved her life, but the doctor could not save her arm.
Long March | Kuroyama, still recovering from a freshy amputated arm and shoulder, is taken under the care of this temple while she recovers. For three months she stayed with the temple, angry, confused, disorientated. Without a path in her newly ruined life, only a destination: the ruined peak of that terrible mountain prophecy has wrought upon her. Once she is well enough to travel, she immediately leaves. Her departure is in the dead of the night, like a sick cat seeking it's final resting place. She walks through the countryside to return to the smoldering ruins of a village that is not there anymore. Here she stays, lost, to bury what remains of her family members. This process takes about two weeks, and she leaves upon the full moon, once she sees torchlight flickering in the distance. her departure is rapid in the night.
Across the Sea | With no home to return to, and no direction to travel, Kuroyama takes to the seas. Very quickly, she joins a caravan of merchants, one too poor to
