Hello! I'm sure you all know about the Qadir attacking the Regalian isles. It's a huge roleplay issue that is sure to result in some big changes, be they good or bad. Now, this begs the question, who are you rooting for? I don't mean who your characters are rooting for. I mean you Ain real life. What side do you want to see succeed? Make sure to comment below explaining your opinion. Be sure to take into account what you think would be the benefits of either side, and don't just drop your opinion and leave. Make sure to check back every now and again and see other people's thoughts on the matter.

I think that the Qadir should win, but not capture Regalia. Why? Because the staff have just announced Regalia V3 and they shouldn't end up screwed over by a Qadir victory. It also allows peoples RP character in Regalia to remain safe. However, Regalia should lose in order to add more dynamics to Aloria than simply "Regalia wins! Humans are supreme! All bow to the Emperor!". A Peace Treater should be signed that gives the Qadir control over the desert & savanna of New Ceardia, Ithania, and Fendarfall, as well as free travel to the other landmasses of Aloria - but not allowing them to retain islands in Regalia's archipelago.

The forcing of a settlement would make Regalia look weaker, allowing other races/nations to become more bold in their activities against said Regalia and forcing such races to acknowledge the Sultanate as being on par with Regalia.

^^^ This ^^^
Regalia has so far shown no sign of weakness apart from the people in power whom they quickly disown or demote if they make the slightest mistake. If Regalia is suddenly defeated, then it would give hope to the people who want things to improve or change in the current culture. Hope that instead of Regalia taking the title as "hero" all the time, that title could instead go to the people who fought against injustice, against seemingly unbeatable odds, and against the ones who have looked down on them for what seems like an eternity.

What's more satisfying than the impossible suddenly becoming possible?

sounds like lovely hunger games movie.

Though, what if they had a high seat in the Regalian empire, and Regalia was to be considered a colony? Our characters would survive, but roleplay would be very different, and the Qadir would be all like " Big Brother's Watching You."

I think the Sultanate should win. Roleplay is fun, but it's boring when it's like "Oh, Regalia is at war! Against all odds, Regalia wins the war, because, well, it won!". Besides, this could make it possible for other races to rise to prominence.

I personally think that Regalia V3 would be the city rebuilt after a brief period of sacking by the Sultanate. As for the rest of the Archipelago, as long as they don't come North, I really don't care what they do to it. (Although I am rooting for the Sultanate to win so Lanaskan can return to the city and get rid of his ridiculous human name in celebration)

Been under human rule for a long time now. Its nice to see something change in that. Though Regalia shouldn't be completely wiped off the map. Neither should the people who live in it. Reducing Regalian's power to have a 2e world order. That be amazing. I love long term wars with random battles ocuring from time to time. Makes all kinds of interesting situations.

As much as it would be neat to see the Qadir win this one, I think Regalia should win. I'm assuming they'd have much more troops compared to the Sultanate? Not too sure but still.
I'm just gonna wait and see >u<

I think it went that they have a bigger army but Regalia has a bigger navy which is why they never really went to war before.
Or at least that's how I remember it being explained to me.

Sultanate. It will give the other races a chance at glory, and the Qadir will simply be aiding the great purpose. Which is good for the mekett like me.

Hmm...that's a hard call..Of course from a bias standpoint (My character is half Qadir) I would love to see the Qadir win. It might open up the door for a possible world for the Qadir and actually making Farah'deen. On the other hand though, it would be interesting to see how things would play out for my character if Regalia wins...

I guess it's all up to the roll of the dice.

Regalians bug me. I don't know anything about the Qadir, therefore I root for Qadir.

I am for maintaining the current power structure.

I don't want to have to learn and suck up to a whole new race of grumpy nobles.

Change frightens me.

I believe this battle would go alot like the was the Greek Spartans and the Persians fought. Regalia has the quality well trained forces, The Qadir have the mass numbers of people. I root for the Qadir :P Hail the Sultanate!

Regalia wins every war. Even though my RP character is loyal to Regalia, I say let there be victory for the Sultanate!

I'd like to see Regalia get utterly decimated. It would mess with so many heads.

...That said, it wouldn't be permanent. It wouldn't be fun if the Sultanate took over Regalia and it stayed that way.

We all know that the Ailor like to place other races below them, but think a moment.
Who's to say the Qadir won't do the same?

I don't want to worship the sun. I don't want sand-diggers making me dig sand with (Or for) them. They'll walk into my house and track sand all over Grandma's carpet!

See, Regalia lets me grow flowers.
The Qadir will just dump sand all over. You can't grow flowers in sand!

Utterly rediculous that there are some people that would like the Qadir to gain power and control.
-sniffles-
You ought to be ashamed.

*pats on the back* There there. The Qadir like beauty. Plus, all the sun they bring will help your flowers grow more. Can't forget cacti. Some of them have really big pink flowers. And fruit. Can't forget fruit.

I mean, just look at these flowers right here, growing in the sand.

Beautiful, aren't they? And just think. Flowers like these could cover both Farah'deen and Regalia! You would have a literal sandbox, as I'm sure the Sultanate would gladly let you go over there and spruce up their gardens.

Regalia has fallen and is taken over by the inevitable supremacy that is the Sultanate. Rebels will be executed and so will all former government officials and Nobles; those above the commoner class will be on the run and all attempts at overthrowing the new government will be done in absolute secrecy. All former nobility etc will be plotting against the Sultanate to try to win back their positions and possessions. Now we can have even more plotting and now we have Loyalists, Rebels, etc. How exciting.
