Did you know that their is a disease that dwarfs can get?
Dwarfs can only get sick from evil things and evil deeds.
A dwarf that does exceptional evil can start to grey.

Like vampirism you can't tell if a dwarf is grey when you do /seen
Dwarfs can go grey if they kill non enemy players or repetitively kill the same player in a certain amount of time.

Gray dwarfs get:
Automatic blind when exposed to sunlight. The effect wears off after 5 seconds of being back in a darker spot.
When a gray dwarf strikes an opponent the opponent receives blind for 1 second. This is due to the evil the grey dwarfs poses which can steal the light from players they touch.

Dworvin, you're argument makes no sense at all. Technically, roleplaying on Massive is the same as roleplaying in Dungeons and Dragons. There are set rules i.e., no "god rping", and you pretend to be your roleplay character. I fail to see what the heck you are talking about.

You kidding me? This is a first person game where their is real time to take in account when playing.
not just people taking turns thinking, talking and acting a damn script.
Go back to Dungeons and dragons though even that game you have to follow the rules and not just kill people with a stare.

Face up to the fact that everyone has an opinion and at the moment the majority of the people don't agree with you.

Dworvin, I think what most of us are trying to get across is that you don't need this to be a race to roleplay it. I do like the idea of this as a sort of roleplay "disease" or sub-race, and I think lots of others would enjoy roleplay as a Grey Dwarf, but you would not need an extra race added to the server for any of that to be accessible.

About your thing on explaining the lore of this by the way, considering how you explained the Grey Dwarf sickness on the forums just now, I dont think it would take too long to explain it in-game.

The RP on the server is 100% fake and only applies when people stand in a group playing make belief.
Why not have 0 abilities for all races then? and just pic the title you want to strut?

Dwarves already have a combative ability though.

I don't think the RP on the server is 100% fake. If you don't like how the RP is being run here when the majority of people do, then don't partake in it.

The race abilities are there for a reason. It is to enhance roleplay and encourage people to roleplay the race they have chosen. While there are some that do not adhere to this, that is one of the reasons race abilities have been placed in game.

If you've already judged this server as 100% fake, then stop making so many damn suggestions. There are NINE suggestion threads you've made that are still on the first page of the Suggestions forum.

And yes, people do pick the title they want to strut about with. Its roleplay. You're not a bearded dwarf in real life, are you? The whole aspect of Roleplaying is ACTING. ROLE-PLAYING. You fill in a role and play along with it. The best actors don't need props or labels to establish themselves as a character. The makeup is your Minecraft skin, and your script is your character's mind.

Yeah but dwarfs are not rely dwarfs if they don't get sick from evil.
So how to role play a when all you have is axe proficiency.. I would think that hammers, heavy swords and maces would also be in the mix?
And what about their short legs? you can get chased by a dwarf in combat and he will be just as fast as an elf.
Also the character shape is the same for all races.
Dwarfs are shorter. People call me shorty and puny man when I stand just as tall as them (no need to look up)
you think I am going to embarrassed my self and pretend I am shorter when I am not how is that dwarf behavior?

Maybe dwarves in your book are not the same as the massivecraft Dwarf Lore for the time being. You cannot say they are not really dwarves. It's like saying that I am less of a human being than you because I like x thing and you like y thing.

How to roleplay when all you have is axe proficiency? Well, ask a lot of the good roleplayers here on this server! I've been here since before races were even implemented, and people were doing quite well with RP even without combative skills.

Character shape is the same with all races because that's minecraft mechanics... all players are the same height. Perhaps there are plug-ins to solve this but they are probably not top priority at the moment.

You are only as limited as your imagination will allow.
