With the boom of archeology and exploration within Aloria, The Squiggs Octovin Fellowship has been established as a means to pursue these opportunities and others in person. Ventures shall be conducted throughout Aloria to various places of interest, all for different reasons. Archeological discoveries, cultural enrichment, flora and fauna discovery and cataloguing, et cetera are all goals and possibilities for the Fellowship.

Though this group is oriented towards those that seek knowledge and discoveries, anyone is welcome to join - provided they follow a strict set of rules and regulations. If you're looking for a story to regale your peers at parties, this group is for you.

Meetings shall be held to discuss possible ventures, and offer an opportunity for those interested to propose trips of their own. For the most part, the travel and amenities shall be handled by the Fellowship itself, and you need only tag along for the adventure.

As stated above, anyone and everyone is welcome to tag along on the ventures, provided they maintain good conduct. The nature of this Fellowship is to promote a sense of discovery and camaraderie amongst those interested in the search for knowledge. Should you be interested in tagging along, please communicate this to Rowena Kade either through letter, or a brief conversation in person. No prior requirements to join.

The rules for membership are defined as below.
  1. Common sense and decency are required. Do unto others as you wish done unto you.
  2. Regalian Law is in effect throughout the venture, unless it directly contests or is overruled by the laws of the local land.
  3. For those of the Peerage, etiquette and decorum must be maintained, to some degree. Should the nature of a situation call for quick thinking and snap judgements, etiquette may be waived.
  4. Your actions are your own. Should you do harm upon the local people or the environment, you shall be held accountable. There is no blanket or immunity offered to those within the Fellowship.
  5. Leave only footsteps. We've no desire to leave pollution or damage in other lands, and endeavor to keep the environment as pristine for future generations to enjoy.

Thank you for reading this far! It's no secret that I enjoy hosting events that are a bit out of the ordinary, and I wanted to find a way to do something more permanent, and include everyone I can. Regalia is a really great place to roleplay (I'm definitely unbiased as a world staff), but I've always wanted to explore different areas within the rich lore this server has. If you're wanting to make trouble during these events, I understand and am willing to incorporate it, but you should really communicate that with me. All actions shall be held accountable ICly, at the end of the day.

I'm hoping this 'fellowship' encourages people to broaden their horizons, figuratively and literally. Events will be a bit unorthodox, and this gives me some freedom to experiment with different ideas I have floating around my head. I haven't entirely fleshed out how soon / how often events will happen, but I'm leaning towards biweekly events - either the venture itself, or a planning session. If you've any suggestions or ideas for me, I'd love to hear them!
TL;DR -
Group to visit different places in lore.
Hunting, creature discovery, archeology discovery, cultural events are all hopefully happening.
Everyone is welcome to come. I'm willing to turn a blind eye to criminals as long as you're able to disguise yourself to a certain degree. I.E. no flesh monsters along for the ride.
If you have any ideas, please share them with me.

A letter would arrive. The handwriting would be very neat.

Dearest Imperial Lady Rowena Kade,

Greetings! This is Wan-Xia. I am writing to inquire about the Aquiggs Octovin Fellowship, and the potential to join said organization. As you are likely aware, I am very much interested in other cultures, history, music, theatre, and more. I know much about the wider world, and though I speak only two languages, I am very well in-tune with other cultures and their traditions, having visited many places, from up and down Daen, to Farah'deen, Essalonia, and much more! I feel I would make a great member of the Fellowship.

Anywho, I do hope you'll have me. I would love to join on these missions, assuming my knees would like to cooperate. Thank you, dearly.

Sincerely yours,
Wan-Xia

The following letter would be sealed with a wax Vyzal seal and magenta ribbon:

"To the Lady Kade,

I write to you today to express my interests in this Fellowship. I am excited by the premise and would be honoured to lend my skills to the adventures, if you will have me of course. Hopefully I will get a chance to learn more about this world along the way.

Spirit bless,
Count Cro-Maarx Vyzal"

To Imperial Lady Rowena Kade,

My name is Auli-Ksai Kemilainen, and I am a scholar of historical languages like Proto-Regalian and Old Daen. I'm well-traveled and have a particularly strong background in northern and Sihai cultures given my heritage. Aside from bartending part-time in the past, I've also done acrobatics in a circus troupe to make extra money. Such skill might come in handy on archaeological expeditions.

Kind regards,
Auli-Ksai

To the Imperial Lady Rowena Kade,

As a Avid traveler and a student of all things artistic and culturally inclined. I would like to join this organization, if you wish a talented musician for the journeying. I will happily nominate myself. I also speak a multitude of languages and cook.

Signed,
Alucard Alfonse
Teacher at the Regalian institute of Fine Arts

To the Imperial Lady Rowena Kade,

I write to express my interest in joining the Fellowship. If accepted, I will gladly lend my expertise as a seasoned medic, alchemist, and Lightness healer. I long for the opportunity to explore, and in return my skills are yours.

P.S. I'm also fluent in Kathar Elven, should that come in handy.

Blessings,

On the letter was a seal of a foreign animal, a ksai fish.

To the Imperial Lady Kade,

I would like to write that I am interested in the learning and exploration of different lands and cultures. The state of various archeology sites, discovered or undiscovered, would require the sight of the perceptive individuals and combatants, which would be my expertise, for beasts for exploration on other lands. I would like to state my intent once more to explore and learn along side the Fellowship, thank you.

Sincerely,
Lee Ming-Qie

To the Imperial Lady Rowena Kade,

I would love to join your fellowship and travel around Aloria, if you'd have me. I recently travelled to Mirnoye with some others to paint it and the sight of that strange place has created a sort-of wanderlust within my soul. I speak a few languages and am pretty good at identifying dragon temples, should we happen upon one.

Sincerely,
Claire d'Agennes

To the esteemed Imperial Lady, Rowena Kade,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing you having caught word of the Squiggs Octovin Fellowship. My name is Lark Redding and I am a knight of the Wards of Fae Order. If allowed, I would kindly request admission into your fellowship. If accepted, I can provide knowledge on ancient relics and artifacts, as well as assisting with my expertise on mountaineering and pathfinding! Thank you for your consideration.

Spirits Bless,
Clarissa 'Lark' Redding
