A joint statement from the Countess Olivia Désirée Ombre and Ser Côme Elouan Ombre concerning the recent Proposals from the Grand Commissioner as published by The Trouve.

i. Any and all people(s) found being possessed should be detained, questioned, and under constant supervision as to prevent the Dragon Witch from using her army of slaves. Why any loyal and obedient servant of the state and citizen of the Empire would want otherwise is alarming and suspicious. It should be noted that those who are found clear of suspicion should be released immediately but still have scheduled parol meetings with approved individuals.

ii. It is absolutely preposterous of the Grand Commissioner to suggest punishing those of our rightfully chartered and sanctioned Law Enforcement groups and guilds; they will, and we quote, " be beaten, stripped of all possessions…". Each of those members has proven their loyalty to the appropriately elected officials; people who have their position because of the respect and loyalty they have earned from others.

iii. As remarked upon by the Grand Commander Sir Wulfram Kehlen, the Regalia Order of Chevaliers are no "Hedge Knights" but highly trained honorable, virtuous, and obviously chivalrous knights. Their contributions to the Empire are more than merely monetary but essential teachings of discipline and honor that have been lacking from the moral repertoire of Regalia.

iv. It is once again worrying that such an appointed official by the Assembly would seek to remove the guards of the peerage - those of the loyal house guard(s) - from their authority to none other than himself. If he seeks to expand on the rights of the House Guard Order, as somewhat(?) suggested by the Consul Typhonus, he should state as such. Otherwise, this outlandish suggestion of removing the authority of the House Guard from the respective matriarchs and patriarchs of said house should be out right ignored.

v. The suggestion of a Public Azure Order is much needed and the only sensible piece of writing that can be taken from the Grand Commissioner's publication. As such, the Trouve would like to voice their candidate for such a position as none other than the Mademoiselle Nyx Richter. Her valiant efforts and knowledge on arcane matters makers her one of few qualified candidates.

Unrelated to the above, the Trouve would like to congratulate the newly made Lady Commander, Kaya Sorenvik. It is with great pleasure and joy that this announcement is made, as to have a woman in such a public position all will know of the great discipline, determination, and will that is possessed by women. Qualities that leaders of any charter, order, or even the Assembly should try to mimic.
