The Sanctum of Union
A number of robed criers could be spotted wandering to and from the slums and Unionist churches of the Holy City, crying out words of blasphemy and heresy, before being chased off by a patrol of guards. If any were to stand and listen, their chants could be heard loud and clear:
"Do not let these Greedy Heretics fool you, unpraised spirits! Do not give in to the Emperor's false claims of being blessed by the spirit's will! All are blessed by the spirit; all are deserving of their own kingdom, and the greedy who try to take it from the people shall be our slaves! Join us in the true church, and let us teach these lords the error of their ways!"
Around the same time the town criers kicked up their chants, a number of pamphlets were thrown up on the walls of the slum housing, telling them of a yet another new gang to fill in the ranks of the slums: The Sanctum of Union.
What is the Sanctum of Union?
The Sanctum is not only a new gang making headway for themselves in the slums; but also a religious group, preaching their own twisted version of Ailor Unionism. Their prayers are more an atonement for the terrible things they have done, and will continue to do, whilst under the gangs banner. The founding members of this gang go to any means and lengths to achieve their goals, even as far as maiming or even killing off any competition.
What do they do?
The Sanctum of Union is heavily focused around their High Priestess and Gang Leader's combined beliefs. They believe that the High Priestess is their 'seeress', and that the gang leader must sway others to this 'true form' of Unionism. Followers live by her creeds, and are shown immense kindness and hospitality. The Leader of the gang is the one who sees everything is kept in line, and the church continues to receive members, and/or sacrifices, as well as protection.
Sanctum Creeds
First creed: Divinity of the Common Man
"We will create a land of the truly free!"
The First Creed Dictates that every single person, regardless of race, gender, sin, or possession, has the Imperial Spirit within them; Not just the Emperor and his children. Sanctum members believe that every creature is a host for the spirit to manifest itself into."We will create a land of the truly free!"
Second Creed: Disbelief of Death
"Our spirits shall live on in the holy land!"
"Our spirits shall live on in the holy land!"
The Second Creed functions very much in the same way as that of proper Unionism, But with more emphasis that everyone is able to reach the holy steps of Unionism, With those who are 'lazy' and 'Greedy' being the slaves and servants of the Sanctum's Followers.
Third Creed: Punishment of the Humanum
"The Ailor shall pay for their greed, of their want for all!"
"The Ailor shall pay for their greed, of their want for all!"
The Third Creed is by far the most distant from true unionism as possible: It says that the Ailor, for their greed and ambition for taking over and ruling all of creation, are to be punished in the afterlife. It speaks of Torture, Damnation, and Eternal service to those they deemed unworthy of the Great Way.
Hierarchy
High Priestess
Held by Igni'in'ollae. @Aurumuld
The High Priestess/Priest is the face of the religion. She/he handpicks all who works by her, and does marriage ceremonies. They have a simple job: Do not let anyone doubt them. The Priestess/Priest is commonly known for "seeing" the Spirit's will. Do not be confused, they are not the leader of the gang.
Sanctum Council
Held by @Leseo_. You can achieve this rank, too.
This is the religious council, chosen by the High Priestess out of Acolytes that most prove themselves. They see to things that the Priestess shouldn't concern herself with, and aid her in her ceremonies. These were former acolytes, but are deeply trusted.
Acolytes
Very basic follower, turned into a recruit. They are hopefuls to be councilmen. They perform basic duties, like cleaning the church and preparing meals for prisoners undergoing brainwashing. Acolytes are the eyes and ears of the church, and will report any greed they witness to their superiors.

Father of Union

The Father is the Gang's leader, and the main focus behind the criminal activities the Sanctum commits. He recruits for the Sanctum, and often holds the bouts of strength used to determine if a person if worthy of defending the high priestess. Do not underestimate him: though he appears calm and collected on the surface, he is also the acting executioner for the Sanctum, and feels no remorse in adding to his list.
Archangel
Currently unheld-- will be chosen from promising Vanguards.
The Archangel is the second-in-command of the Vanguards, and the Father's personal right-hand. The Archangel is chosen by the Father, and shall only remain an Archangel if they remain loyal. Their duties are similar to the Fathers and vanguards, but are much more involved within the Sanctums prayers and sacrifices.
Vanguards
Vanguards are the muscle of the Sanctum, and are under rule of the Father and Archangel. Those chosen to become Vanguards will have proven themselves in their Bout of Strength, or could be hand-picked by the Father himself. Duties of the Vanguards include protecting the church, and assisting the Archangel and Father in their own duties.
Note: Vanguards do not have to follow the creeds exactly, but are certainly frowned upon if not. They must attend at least one prayer per day.
