Do you believe this to be a good idea?

WTF is happening!!! Lady Rose, where even are you? It's the correct time and here is whats going on. :|. You plan all this and you don't show up?

I'd be fine with a rp school as long as rose ain't teaching it because I rp'ed with her once and two things happened, first she meta-gamed by calling the guards with /MSG . Then for some reason the one of most noble, Fancy, and politician of all the noble families somehow knows how to fight! I called ridiculous in my head for the reason that I didn't do anything anyway, so no offense, but after all that I stooped and decided to just leave... But either way I love the idea, and I think we need player models to be required for some things.

Have you looked at her character profile?

Calm down, please. I had to stay after school to finish a small biology project, something that I couldn't control. School will begin in.. 30 Minutes!

I just used up all my internet time waiting for you so now I can't be apart of of this, thank you so much.

I may be having technical difficulties, if I cant make it to the in-game school. I'll just create the role-play school thread right now. Then I'd start to cover the things in game, when I'm able to long on.

She is a nice person! Even after calling me a peasant...
Rose I would love to attend to the RP School Thread!

I may be a adult and might not have to attend school, but does it matter if I pick up some rp tips along the way?

I don't get role play at all totally , I thought this was a factions server, I came in and they treated me like a peasant, asking me not to goto ice mountains as there are orcs and all. I'm really confused how role play works

Role play is exactly how it sounds. Playing a role. It's like being a character in a book, or a character in a movie, and you're acting out the scenes with many other characters. The only thing is that this server does indeed have it's own set of "rules" called the Lore, which is also like history etc. This is medieval, so to set up a character, I'd talk to a roleplay staff, or ask questions on the thread linked above to ask individual questions. ^.^

So I'm suppose to act all the time?since I chose human, I must talk the language of human, act like a human?

Well, yes. There is also a thread somewhere, when I find it I'll link it to you, with different languages/culture of humans. And there are times when you can go OOC (Out of character) Of course, such as in faction chat, with brackets that show you are out of character, etc etc.

Is it possible if you get me a thread that gives all the basic tutorial, because people who are teaching me are talking like drunk clowns : orcs , dangerous from ice mountains <~~~ me totally don't get that

I would read through this thread, it answers some basic questions and stuff, and you can ask anything there, just read through and stuff. Click this.

Roleplay is basically how it was when you were a kid and pretending to be a monster or something. You're taking the role of a person or creature, and acting like that person or character. That means no discussing Call of Duty in the middle of roleplay. If you're roleplaying as a snotty noble, you act and talk like a snotty noble. I would advise you to try to avoid OOC (Out of character) talking as much as possible, only using it when needed. However, you're free to use it in chats other than Local, or maybe Faction chat if you're roleplaying in that.

But here's a tip that will save you from people ridiculing you: if you become a vampire, hide your vampirism as much as possible. So no running around screaming "IM A VAMPRE COM AND GET ME GARDS HURHURHUR"

Basically, in Local chat, remain in character, and you should be fine.

ok i heard something about being arrested?

I'm no master of Roleplay, but a tip to people with God- RP issues is to do what I do: Play a pacifist. Or restrict your combat, a lot like I do. Pacifism works for the first few months of Roleplay, as it actually makes you not harm anyone. Once you begin to understand how to Roleplay, and effectively not God- RP, you can loosen the slack a bit on combat, like I did.
