Reverential Address ~ Of Demons and Comets

On the night of the Eleventh of November, the Comet from the heavens struck Oldtown in the Holy City. What seemed like a celestial anomaly for a comet to strike the Holy City, was much more than that. A protector of mine, Gabadeli, and I were at the City Cathedral when the Comet struck. We rushed to help aid in putting out the fire burning through Petal Court when we were told to find more people to help. After finding another Claw of Union, Serna Ashwood, we came back to the site and joined a Viridian Knight to form a perimeter to help prevent looters. That was, until the Viridian Knight in his wisdom told our group to evacuate to the nearest empty building with him.
I do not know the name of the Viridian Knight, but his wisdom saved us. When we moved inside the empty building, within a minute, a demon from the Comet came up the stairs. We were unable to see the demon in its form, but it shook the building we were at and attempted to come inside by shattering the windows. The Viridian Knight with his quick thinking told us to run to the back of the room where there was a gap in the construction that provided an exit. When we were exiting down using a ladder, I caught a glimpse of the invisible demon breaking down the entrance and leaving claw marks on the walls. The four of us exited Petal Court and took refuge within Greygate prison.
The time I have long spoken about has come. Demons from the spiritual realm whom often influence the people of Most Holy Aloria have manifested themselves into the physical realm. The increased lack of prayer, spike in aberrant behavior, and allowance of demonic influence, has caused this terrible disaster within the Holy City. The demons targeted me personally in an attempt to put the Synod into disarray on by ending my life early on in this attack. They want to cause all of the Unionist Divine to fall.
This shall not happen. The Divine Spirit above has provided a tool against these demons so that they may never hope to win- prayer. Prayer was gifted to the people of the Holy Commonwealth by the Divine Spirit to provide spiritual battle against demons and the woes that afflict us. The demons cannot hope to struggle against the Divine Spirit and will begin to cower when we all unite in prayer. Even now, they have not manifested enough power to remain in their physical form all throughout the day.
United we shall stand brothers and sisters in the Spirit. The Great Way leads to Paradise as you have known. Paradise is when all woes are gone and when the Unionists of the world are united. We must emulate this behavior and be together in this spiritual and physical conflict. We must stand united against the demons so we may remove this threat from the Holy City.
I have spoken with Father Titus Cretch, Father Miguel de Grizio, and Ser Karp of the Crimson Inquisition on this topic and we have formulated a plan to resolve this disaster that has befell the Holy City. Able-bodied men and women are encouraged to join the Crimson Inquisition in an effort to rid this Holy City of the demon threat that has plagued us by fighting against it. Ser Karp and Father Titus are devout men willing to forward the Great Way, so their actions will personally condoned by me and blessed by me. If you are not able-bodied, seek out Father Miguel to help provide charity to those affected by these demons. He is personally hosting a charity event Wednesday to help alleviate the problems of the populace so he is in need of helping hands. The Synod also will personally welcome the Imams and Ibadets in Regalia to help provide alms to the citizenry but inform all to not spread their beliefs or guidance on the citizenry. All may serve the Unionist Divine from the poorest to the richest, from the least fit to the most fit. Find the way you may serve it.
Finally, if you are in need yourself, seek refuge. The Church will be working on providing refuge to those in New Town through the City Cathedral as our gateway to do so. The Mercenary Commander of the Swords of Bulwark has also offered up the Mercenary Keep as a refuge and I encourage anyone whom may be in urgent need of refuge to seek refuge there. The Swords of Bulwark have proven to be capable warriors and will offer protection that the Church may also offer.
The Saints above are crying as they look down on the Holy City. They see the suffering the Holy City has and are interceding on our behalf so that the Holy City may be saved. Pray to them and pray with them that Most Holy Aloria shall be protected. And pray that the Lord Chancellor may lead us against the demons around us.
