Regalia Pre-Production has started. While the previous thread helped poll interest, it also showed some weaknesses in how we want to go about neighborhood construction. Before we do the Registration, let's get some things out of the way first:
- Regalia V6 will not have combineable houses. You will not be permitted to own 2 houses next to each other, and you will not be permitted to break down walls between houses of different owners to functionally combine them.
- Co-habitation is recommended. Regalia V6 needs to become smaller, V5 became so large that it became anti-rp and difficult to find people in the streets. There will not be enough houses for all players on launch. The maximum number of houses will be decreased to 1 per player.
- Survival players are not permitted to own houses in Regalia V6. A Survival player is counted as someone who does not actively participate in the Rp community or roleplay. You do not have to be majority active in Roleplay, you can even be majority active in Survival, as long as you still roleplay, that is fine.
- Inactive housing of players who quit massive will be evicted. The pricing of housing will go considerably down. You should also not aim to get houses for side-characters or nobles/clandestine people. These have their own estate/clandestine bases systems. (with one notable exception for noble estates in community housing).
- There can be no businesses in Community Housing. We do not permit Businesses in these districts as they are purely meant for neighborhood RP. Nearby shopping streets are for Businesses. There is, unlike the previous thread however, no upper limit to the number of players that may be registered for a district.
- Don't worry if someone's household registration was bounced. Each neighborhood will have a number of rentable properties nearby that are adjacent to the entrance, so even people who don't get a current registration on account of not being active, can still join a neighborhood by claiming an open property when V6 launches. There will be about 150 open properties in the city, besides 150 spots for neighborhood housing.
- Write a reply on this thread including the following information:
- Leader/Manager: Username of the person responsible for communication between Staff and the Community.
- District Choice: Choose between "Old-Town-Slums-Harbor", "Commons-Merchant-Shopping", and "Wealthy-Aristocrat-Classy" Districts. These are the only 3 districts that will exist, but they serve multiple purposes.
- Choose a Theme: Pick some sort of theme, like "Velheim", or "Estel Worship", or "Varran-Viridian". You can combine themes, as long as the description is short.
- Choose a Style: Pick from the following: Glass dome over Community, Lake Community, Shipyard Community, Sewer Community, Bazaar Community, On the Outskirts Community, Apartment Complex Community.
- Noble/Clandestine Included?: Yes/No. If you want a Clandestine or Noble Estate to be built into the neighborhood, say so, and then also specify the Clandestine or Noble group.
- Households: Separate households based on members For example:
- Dingo Household: Harald Dingo (Dingy_boy12), Matilda Dingo (Xx_DingyBoat_xX)
- Marty Household: Marty Martison (MonMarty), Manta Mantadottir (MantaRey)
- There is currently no limit to the number of households. If all members of a household are not active enough, the household is struck from the registration and the house will not be built. Those who play World System Entity groups that have very active side characters will be considered for alt-character household ownership, but are recommended to co-habit.
- A Household may also be built underground. If this is a preference, say so. Regular Households will not have basements. All Households will be roughly 11x11 with 3 floors high.
- Anything else you'd like to add: Anything at all. Just be reasonable. We don't exactly build these things with specifications of specific players in mind, purely just a general neighborhood setting to encourage togetherness.
