Hello!
With the completion of the Slums District the world staff workload is finally dwindling down and some of us don't have a clue what to do next. I'm creating this thread to ask you a question. Is there something you always wanted to see built in Regalia?

You have have seen posts like this before, and often answers such as 'the library' are shot down purely because they're never seen used. I want to hear more suggestions for things that will be used on a regular basis. Of course, I still want to hear ideas regardless of them being used or not. Another thing I'd like to build are instances (small areas filled with detail, usually hidden away) and lore related buildings. Ever wanted to see a Maiar cove? Lampar burrows? It could be possible.

This post isn't endorsed by the world staff, it's moreso me trying to see what you want. Also please keep in mind that not all suggestions will be built, but the more beneficial suggestions will be considered higher than others.

A Hidden Garden in the park sort of like behind the waterfall type deal where a large chunk of rock started to erode forming a large cave filled with crystals, flowers, vines sort of like a peace garden to drink tea and relax yourself within the nature. (the park is big granted but its mostly turns and twists where barely any people actually rp) the main ambition is to help those with stress sort of like a place of healing.

(i say this not knowing if it's a thing or not i have yet to figure out fully where everything is)

Spooky abandoned ghost house would be cool.

Just some old run down house, I remember there was one kinda like that in the old park?
Liked the place.

I'd like to see some of the older streets updated into the new style. I think that would really just be the main street around the tree that could use a facelift.

danny boy build little temples/shrines to the various in-lore religions scattered in secret places

*clears throat* Why not finish adding the regions to the places in regalia that are already built?

Or, actually start adding the regions because there are places where nothing has been done in many many many months

A quarantine ward for the upcoming diseased plaguevictims that do have the income to not be ditched into the slums.

I've always thought it would help spread out roleplay if there were little squares with rentable houses around them and then a few market stalls dotted around. like with buildings that would make good shops and taverns, etc, but all around a central location so players can almost have their own communities within Regalia. The thing I don't like now about Regalia is that its hard to have any reason to navigate to most of the houses, and if there were some places that would make jumping from one location to another helpfull that would help side-rp-hotspots pop up. This could really be done by deleting a house or two then editing the faces facing that place... idk...

basically what I'm saying that occasionally there is a clear, open space with houses facing toward it and maybe a few market stalls. Have a house that would make a good player-run tavern, one that would be a good player-run clinic and then you got some good RP hotspots dotted around Regalia.

Sp00ks for Halloween

On a serious note, possibly some sort of cute autumn decorations or things of the sort throughout Regalia.

Rural houses. So much land in regalia, yet everything is concentrated in the city. An option for a more private, and less laggy, experience within Regalia would be nice.

  1. More Easter eggs over Regalia.
  2. Redoing the least lived in districts or updating them.
  3. Redoing bath houses.
  4. Construct a huge library.
  5. Construct a big brewery.
  6. Updating/fixing the bad architecture'd buildings or poor city planning
  7. Load of decorations for irl holidays / events
  8. Better Directions at Regalia Spawn

i dont know much about lore but lore related easter eggs. thats my reason for being so vague on it sorry :/

Another thing was to change the outlook of the sewers. Granted nobody will live in them, but could still be nice to have a few tiny canals everywhere.
maybe make a labyrinth in the sewers where a Minotaur lives?

Why not sell the World Staff team off to Factions to do builds for them.

Like a small house or schemtica for a certain price.

There is so much money around in the factions community I'm sure someone has work that needs done and the money to spend to do it.

also can I get a viridian castle thanks man

gibe examples

Also reading over these now. Keep em coming!
Deep down in a cave underground, there is a prophecy written on the wall of all the amazing staff members who have made and continue to make the server awesome.

Also hints at the return or Freya Lo (may or may not happen we don't really mind)

Expansion on this, make the brewery and library part of a monastery, as was common in the middle ages. There are a bunch of religious orders in the lore, but no place for them to congregate.

Iv noticed all over regalia these small underground caverns or rooms under buildings (not basements) or under the park and I think we could go crazy with this idea, besides the slums we don't have much underground building so maybe have a massive underground garden world called the "Yanar District" this could be an underground/aboveground place that can add cool extras to the new yanar lore such as Yanil growing trees or gardens, rentable gardens so players can build there gardens and show them off rather than hide them in their homes and maybe even have a shrine-converted dead Nenya under the city - as if the yanar were managing it's grave. This idea can also follow the Lo occupation with the old sewers merging as a caved in underground world. That's my idea!!!~

Perhaps the (old) sewers can now become an underground district which is a melting pot of ALL races and their cultures. There can be a Maiar sector which is stilt housing above an underground lake, a Yanar sector like @Devoruku senpai mentioned, etc. It would be nice to have a sort of melting pot district for the non-ailor races.

Yep, my main focus is on Yanar due to its my favourite race so open garden rents like garden platforms in walls would be nice~

The does exist my friend, in the tunnels! The tunnels contain the beast!

One thing that would be interesting is having the tavern on a road that curves off of the main road. Not an implementation currently, but later on perhaps. Just having the tavern curve off of the main road so it isn't just a straight road. It could be an interesting twist.

For currently, lodging in the Golden Willow. Rooms for 'rent' that people could stay in for the night etc. Like the ability to have private living space rp off of the main rp hub. The typical person shows up from over seas and gets a room in the tavern for the night. The visiting stranger type deal.

So more suggestions:
  • There was brief mention of having a zoo made in regalia for some exotic game to be on display, such as llamas and parrots and whatnot. Not sure on how many people would visit, but it would be beneficial every time a new rpack comes out.
  • I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and say factions spawns need a face lift. 50% of the server is survival, and builds that were good 3 years ago no longer fit the new architecture of the server. We need to "wow" new players at every spawn, and Ithania looks like some 6 year old's server map. I think Ithania, Fendarfelle, and Teled need work on their spawns in that order, just to keep the maps looking fresh and up to date with the rest of the server builds.

So like how it was when the Golden Willow in Regalia v1? Yes please.
