Race Changes!

I just wanted to say... Who is ecstatic that they finally un-nerfed humans, giving them something, anything to make there a purpose to playing humans besides vampires. I also love the agni changes. What do you guys think about it?
 
I think they are adding to much races in massivecraft.

Human, Elfs, Dwarfs, Orcs Undead are enough Maby add one other race to support the horde. Those others are useless, and dont feel fantasy medieval. Second thing is. I cant imagine anything that they suppose to look like cause everyone has human skin. I need to use my brain to imagine a orc or a undead..

I would remove all other races and only keep the ^ and give them more passive/activated bonus or skills> it's harder to balance each race if you add more and more. Doesnt feel Massivecraft lol
 
Well that was slightly off topic but I'll add my reply. I somewhat agree, but I don't think it should be limiting it that much. It also sounds that your view is incredibly good V evil. I have seen goodhearted orcs, and there are also many evil humans, elves, and dwarves.

I think races like Yanar, Maiar, and Agni are part of what makes massivecraft unique. I think that adding diolek, tokaige, frostmorn, and all the others ones might be a stretch, but as long as they don't add any more races after that, I am fine with it.

Also the skin thing is a different problem. I myself found a skin that looked a lot like a Yanar according to massivecraft lore, and nobody I have roleplayed has had any trouble guessing my race. If you need a decent skin for massivecraft, there is a skin thread in the media forum where you can request a skin artist to make a custom skin for you.
 
I am excited about the race changes for humans it seems like they are becoming a more balanced race. Although I think that the perks humans get should be in swords since most of the races pros/cons are in combat. So possibly a +15% swords damage perk could be added although you would lose this perk when or if you become a vampire.

I disagree with fighting perks for all the races. One like the insect races...those add a RP aspect to the fight. Humans shouldn't have any direct advantages to fighting imo. Also dwarfes shouldn't, they should have an advantage in mining imo, but that's hard to do I heard.

Coming back to the question:
Yes, I enjoy the changes. Humans now have a real RP-ish advantage.

Agreed. Race abilities should help you in ways besides just PvP.
