So I was partaking of my usual evening pondering, when I consceived quite the dilemna. I had no idea what to think at first, for this actualization approached me quite bluntly. I rested for several moments, engulfed in pure philosophical agony, I hadn't any idea for relief. But what was I to do? I was my only companion well versed upon the topic to even consider each testimony, but the subject at hand was too complex for my menial conscious. My, I thought, it may even be to diverse for a single conscious to understand. I would have to assemble some sort of assembly of minds, of debating literaries, debackling scholars, of dubious philosophers. I paused to consider where I might find such a collection. I looked over to my computer, drawing my eye with the glare of the immaculate heart-waven desert sun. "I shall use the internet!" I proclaimed. So, I considered my evidence and began to write this post.

The mightiest of scholars, long ago, decided we must categorize objects in order to acknowledge correlations. This is ever so present in life on massivecraft. We have noobs, rpers, staff members. But no, I refer to classifications in the roleplay community. As any well versed roleplayer must suspect, there are many races in the grand world of aloria, some mighty, some weak, but all with horrid design. These creatures range from land to water, covered in all sorts of substance. Some covered in fur or fur-like hair, which will now be classified as "furries," and some covered in scales, which will now be classified as "scalies."
By this point, the average reader would have thought, "wow this is some week sh*t" and left the thread, but you are not the average reader, dear sir or madam, you will embrace this spiral of madness betwixt the depths of balance and euphoria. You will make this journey into a far land of disappointment and chicken nuggets well into your thirties. So I dare you, embrace such risk, such challenge, such intellect, and such potential gain to reach into the souls of our sanities and rip them to shreds. For today, all of our problems will be answered!
The problem at hand, is quite a large one I assure you. For, with such buildup, such anticipation, such suspense, you make ask yourself, "what's the point?" And you, are asking the wrong questions my dear comrad. For the real question is, if mu allar have feathers and scales, are they scalies or furries? Take a deep breath, I know that is a complex question. You see, the human mind is only capable of so much. Now, let's explore some of the points. On one hand, mu allar have scales, cueing in the term "scalie." But, on another hand, the mu allar have feathers, which can be seen as a furry trait, being that there are many, many bird furries (evidence cited below)
So, if a creature, such as the mu allar, contains both traits from scalies and furries, than what is it?
