The K.O.S Was there because Avarr were basically super crazy bird people who worshipped the sun, and if you insulted their religion, it would be likely they'd kill you- I think that's what it use to be anyway, But like, Yeah, also because of the fact that Regalian's, mostly Ailor's, are extremely racist, so, that's probably what put that plan into action.

The Avarr weren't exactly.... "good guys". They killed humans constantly for religious and (if I remember correctly) food. They were K.O.S because even the "good" ones were powerful enough to take on Orcs and they were instantly perceived as threats.
Well, its certainly a different idea, but that takes it away from it being actual Centaurs. im aiming for half man half horse cause centaurs fascinate me

Eh I'm always for new races.I want an Avarr re-do like colorful birdpeople who sell their own feathers.

If this became reality, and I must put an emphasis on IF. Players would most likely, not be allowed to Rp these. I suggest that, if you want a race like these, they should be more like Satyrs.
There is also the issue, of hundreds of years of Regalian history, and yet no signs of this race. If they emerged, There is no telling if The Regalian empire wouldn't outright exterminate the entirety of the race, due to their abnormal, and outright unholy body.

Very, very true- This is another reason why an Avarr re-do, might make a good Addition, there is plenty of places a bird person could hide, they could probably hide up in tree's or something like that- but yeah, knowing Regalian's and Ailor's, they'd try to exterminate the entire race, probably use them as Trophy's, or legends, probably what happened to the Dragons, but maybe a little less worse.
Yes but going by that logic, The Kleinfolk are also very "abnormal". most races that arent Human, Elf, dwarf, or the more "humanly" ones would technically all be erased by the regalian empire as well.

If you really want a new race, this here would probably be your best bet for a few reasons:
- Save for the now-extinct Avarr (and sort of the Mu-Allar, but not really), we have no feathered, bird like races. That's a unique niche they could fill.
- Centaurs… that's a bit cliché, isn't it? I mean, we have elves, dwarves, and humans (but what can you do about that) which are also chiché, but lore staff put their own spin on it and made them unique. You could do what @Squeaker555 suggested (which, if I recall correctly, made them into half-cow taurs) but you said you wanted the classic centaur, so how will you make that unique to Massive? A bird like race would be unique, as it is both few and far in between to see, and can be made unique by… being modeled after songbirds, for example.
- If they were to get implemented, think, where were they throughout all of Aloria's history? The kleinfolk were on an island amoungst themselves, which explains why they were implemented later, as do the rest of the later-added races. Bird like people could have been thought to be extinct after the Avarr, out of sight, out of mind, but where would a creature that is quite literally half horse hide itself?
- Then there's the obvious racism. If Q'urebo (which only have animalistic ears and tail) are hunted for meat, imagine a creature that's half horse.
And if it doesn't make sense, I'm sorry. It's early and I got next to no sleep.
It might work to be honest though I doubt they would legally have rights, they'd be equal to the Kleins although that's just my perspective. (You can legally kill a Klein.) Plus, imagine the regulations and long term prospective of using it.

To be Fair, Klein are bing beaten and murdered, at a daily rate. They have no rights, and are generally treated poorly. The reason the empire hasn't executed them all, is because they're small, and pathetic.
A 6'5" Tall, Kllein like horseman. Is not only highly dangerous, but would be seen as animalistic, and un-holy. A prime target for the Regalian empire to execute, to show it's dominant strenght to other emires in Aloria
Urs are huge bears which can get up to over 8 feet. the Centaurs could possibly populate one of the new worlds idk its just something that could be pretty fun to rp. i know i would.

what if instead we had almost bird people that:
- are strongly based off peacocks
- socialites
- feathers instead of hair
- literally useless wings that look very majestic
- ^ mostly because people wouldn't function well with wings, and also they're making progress in devolving from birds.

Well. They would most likely be a very stupid race, to balance for the flying. Nor would they get very large, or smart. Due to them having to be light.
Didn't he mention that the wings are useless?

I'm gonna lock this thread, as while speculation and idea popping is cool, we have expressed numerous times that we're not looking for new races. We want to flesh out what we have for quite a while before we consider anything else.
