"To understand the Realms of Forbidden Knowledge, one must first understand one thing: Whenever someone in Aloria dies, their knowledge is not lost. Instead, it becomes a book. Not a book in the world of the living, however, but in a realm of knowledge."

Hello, everyone. I come bearing news of both an idea and something for you guys to enjoy. I post this in general as I don't know if it entirely belongs in Feature and Idea Discussion. However, staff can feel free to move it there should they see it necessary.LORE PAGE:

The idea is this: what if there were quest/dungeon realms? Not places set in Aloria, but somewhere else entirely. Realms that were separate places of their own. Places like the Rift and the Void, but, instead of just being resource worlds, they would be quest worlds. They would have dungeon elements, quests, puzzles, and enemies. The idea would be to provide a unique experience that cannot be gotten elsewhere on the server, and possibly any other server. Massivecraft is unique, so why not go all the way with the uniqueness? This would allow for unique quests less grounded in reality. Think something like the Realms of Oblivion. Maybe sections of the Void were more than nothingness. Maybe there are places in the Void? Not the entire Void, of course, but separate pockets that break up the void. These worlds can be as wild as both Lore, Quest, Event, Tech, Game, and World staff can come up with. The idea would be that the staff departments could hold meetings and determine what would be feasible to build, fit into the lore, code, and just generally make work. There is a lot of fun that can be had. Plus, I know Grumpy loves quests, so...
The rewards for quest completion could include lore items, lore info (including inklings at new lore and maybe deeper lore?) These would give rewards for everyone. It'd fit well with the theme of the world I made, too, but I don't expect my first idea to be a home run.
I provide you with a download to the world I created: the Realms of Forbidden Knowledge, right here:
The idea is kinda like Apocrypha from The Elder Scrolls. A vast library that contains every bit of knowledge imaginable. But, think of this as more of a proof of concept than a suggestion.
Anyways, go hog wild with ideas below. Thanks for reading, and have a Massive day!
