A missive of notification from Second-Sergeant Howland of the Viridian Order
Violet Order Drill Sergeant
Mission Report:

Drill Sergeant Howland, Second-Sergeant of the Viridian Order, announces the conclusion of the first Violet Order Drill of this year 309 A.C.

The drill emphasized rankly conduct as well as marching formation. It is the hope of this Drill Sergeant that the guard take to heart the lessons of discipline as they continue their mission of exceptional service and law-keeping in the most Holy City, Regalia. Order and hierarchy are hallmarks of what reinforces the strength of the Regalian Empire, and embracing that tradition will propel the guard to new heights.

The present Honor Guard nobility performed exceptionally well and posed as examples to their common compatriots within the guard: Duke Alistair Mac Conall, Count-Consort Rodrigo Peirgarten, Lord Florian Peirgarten, Lady Lyall Howlester, Lord Reimar Falkenreich and Lord Eldrich von Drachenburg.

The present guardsmen and guardswomen quickly met regimental standard this Drill Sergeant placed before them, and with some hiccups, followed the hasty pace the Honor Guard set before them: Erwin Braunschweiger, Triss Aduro, Taeron Fasalor, Xeniya Wyrann and Calibur Ashford.

###

The Drill Sergeant also extends gracious thanks to Lady Third-Maiden Humaira Reinard and Lyonel Deceres, who honorably represented the Lion Pelt and Bloodcast Orders, respectively. The Drill Sergeant particularly praises Lyonel Deceres, whose discipline should be held an example for the many members of his order who were busy "doing good" and not attending.

###

After the drill, several members of the Violet Order, and members of the public, competed in a push-up contest; a classic display of strength, endurance and discipline. The Drill Sergeant commends the diligent guardswoman Triss Aduro for going "toe-to-hoof" with the mighty Url Quin, breaking a tie in the competition. The Drill Sergeant also offers approval of the performance of the Count-Consort Rodrigo Peirgarten, Lady Third-Maiden Humaira Reinard, and guard Calibur Ashford for their efforts. The Drill Sergeant notes the forfeiture of Lion Pelt Dame-at-Arms Michetta.

###
While the individual guards and honor guards demonstrate incredible fortitude and bravery alone, the strength of uniformity and impression of diligence is sure to push the Violet Order even further above the unjust in the city.

Another drill will be held within the month.

End of Mission Report.

~Howland of the Black Crow says: "Lord Drachenburg. With respect, you are leaning too much on your Calemberger training. Lower your head ever-so-slightly, as the rest of the honor guard do."
~Eldrich von Drachenburg adjusted his angle from 10 degrees to 7.
