The Violet Order announces a guard drill event to pursue the upkeep of training and morale amongst the guards on July 23, at 6 p.m. EST. A wargame of “rescue the hostage” will be hosted in the old von Falkenreich Estate on July 23. The Violet Guard will be split into two teams: The defenders, who will shore up defenses around the estate, and the attackers, who will be required to take key points to push the offense. Team captains, selected by the Ducal-Commander Viggo Sorenvik, will be responsible for parsing out teams. Captains will choose teams ahead of the drill, and are granted twenty minutes of preparation time before the event’s start the night of the event to scout the area out and prepare a strategy. Objective A: Obtain two keys; one from the interrogation room, the other from the ramparts Objective B: (Locked by Objective A) Storm the main banquet hall Objective C: Retrieve the prisoner from atop the balcony Other rules: No time limit Hostage may escape Three strikes and one is out, and can either lay in their spot or make their way off the field Lord Commander picks the team captains, who then pick the teams Attackers must complete Objective A before proceeding to further objectives Further information will be released in the days leading up to the drill.
