I seriously cannot wait to potentially meet Dianne... but Lizzy is a bit of.. a character... she takes quite a bit of getting used to... But she's really sweet, spoiled, and like a mini-diva-princess XD 14 ponies...

Character Description:

    • Rilion has an angular facial shape, similar to one of a heart-shaped head, he has a chin that is only a bit dull at it's tip. Along with this is a straight-cut nose, though placed nicely between his eyes. His eyes resemble a pair of 'portuding' eyes, with darkly eyebags hanging beneath. The Shendar's pair of ears are long with sharpened tips at it's end. It holds itself close to his head, instead of straying into his sides.
    • The hue of his eyes consists of a red that could be used to identify as the color of a brown iris. His usual expression consists of a gaunt mood, a neutral frown staring into the distance.
    • Apart from small sideburns, there is no facial hair on his face. However, his hair is a bleached white - almost as while as the snow in Ellador. Along with this is a bit of a messy fringe that hangs around everywhere on his face, slightly curled onto his face at one part due to playing with his hair at times in boredom. It's cut short at the end of his head, though some locks off it curl down behind his neck.
      • As of recently, Rilion now has a sidecut due to a few accidents; the now 'shaved' side spanning the entirety of the right side of his head.
    • Rilion has one chunk of a mostly-missing ear that happened in a fight. Aside from that, there are no visible scars on his face.

  • The shendar currently stands at the height of 6"5, and weighs about 174 pounds at that. His build consists of a rectangular-like thin build. Although no muscle mass could be in obvious sight, as due being a mage disables being able to be able to train with swords. His body shape is vertically aligned for the most part at that, as shown through having a bit of longer limbs - aside from other longer body parts. His fractured arm has healed over time; but is now dealing with another wound of a half-eaten right arm. He doesn't feel like he should move it.

  • Rilion has the regular, sickly gray skin that all Shendar have - though on his chest are a few healing wounds that have been slashed onto his torso.

  • Not much body hair can be found, but there is a light layer of body hair on himself, not a visible amount, although.

  • Wallflower: Rilion is a bit of an introverted person, usually keeping to themselves or doing something aside from being social. He's not shy or anti-social, or cold. He chooses to be quiet, though he would also willingly attend a festival or some sort of group gathering. The Shendar isn't a full-out loner, nor does he really want to be alone in the first place. But simply feels the need to blend in and usually remain silent. Though, if you do manage to strike up a conversation with him; it's not like he'll shun you away.
  • Ambitious: As his goal shows, he is especially ambitious and believes to be able to achieve anything if he just puts his mind to it. Of which he is obviously focusing on at the moment, however this is mislead. As shown by what he is, since it would be considered stupid to attempt achieving that goal.
  • Falsified ego: As an emotional defense; the Shendar has subconsciously created himself a false ego so nothing could ever really hurt him. Though he rejects the idea of having such a defense mechanism in his brain; it does shine at times when something goes wrong - and prides himself of having to go through such martyrdom that he constantly has to put up with in his daily routines.
  • Vigilant: The Shendar is especially vigilant, keeping an eye out for any sort of offense of crime happening within his surroundings. Along with this trait is a rather consuming sense of Justice, usually punishing 'wrong-doers' for literally anything that they would do. This includes cutting someone's hand off on the first offense of pick-pocketing, and other serious things that he would do to petty crimes.
  • Insecure: With his realization of his possession, and the current state he is in; Rilion does in fact feel very much insecure with his own identity. Seeing as how much of his personality derives from being the ambitious vigilant whose feelings of vigilance that don't even come from himself - he's certainly cautious around anti-magic in fear that what gave him such an identity will disappear. Though, he's not entirely sure if he truly wants to continue being possessed and at what cost should be decide to keep it.
  • Curious: Since his interest in history; he enjoys being able to know things, such as how things happen or just random, useless trivia. Though this probably gets him into trouble, honestly; it's not like it'll stop him from going into places he shouldn't be really going into.
  • Destructive: Like above, he tends to either intentionally or unintentionally cause destruction of various things - such as property, wildlife and sometimes entire houses and lives. If Rilion claims anyone as a wrong-doer, he'll attempt to ruin as much things in your life as he could. Though this does go onto things such as just simply fighting someone because they have been doing wrongs to.. Something. Along with this; not just will he usually try and ruin someone else's live - it seems that he has a tendency to ruin all his relationships first.
  • Helpful: If needed, he could try and help guards and people who are attacked in his sight. Though he doesn't exactly care about them, but would rather try to bring his own method of 'justice' to whoever decided to attack. Though, he'll try and help friends who are struggling with certain tasks, such as carrying heavy things and bringing someone to a local Healing House.
  • Socially Awkward: It's not like he stutters too much anymore; but it's moreso the fact that he is unable to find the right words to say, and knowing what to say at a good time. Usually he repeats words and whatnot; and is socially inept. But he's honestly a good person once you actually get to know him.
  • Dishonest: What, did you honestly think he wouldn't had developed this? He grew extremely dishonest over the times of being alive; to the point where he would easily be able to lie to even himself about even the obvious things. Though, he usually uses this to his advantage. He isn't honorable in the least - and will do what it takes to do JUSTICE to others. Even if it really hurts to act like this; it's not like anyone should know.

Maybe holding his hands behind his back, awkwardly sideglancing.

Oh snappp. I have Lorenzo then Alexei and now this fella. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to execute this, especially as this is a Shendar and when I color the sketch I only really get one shot of the gray.. I also can't promise that he'll look sickly... which reminds me to mention something to Lorenzo's commissioner who since Lorenzo is seemingly a drug addict, has gaunt cheeks...

To be honest with all of you, I have had very little experience with drawing men, and it takes me a very long time. Which is why I prefer women and children.
I am also a recently discovered perfectionist and this tends to affect my work. I didn't realize it before but here it is.
I'll take on the challenge but I cannot truly promise that it'll turn out how you'd like it. Also, this is more of a preference thing... But the way you have your text is very hard for me to read >///< Sorry. Not trying to be a PITA
 
@Pastelly Also. with your personality. that's really detailed... I like detailed, don't get me wrong but maybe narrowing it down to his one or two most prominent / major traits of every day? Like for example, mine would be a shy smile. What would Rilion's be?

Lizzy is about 12 years old. Recently 12 >///< my baby girl cannot ever grow up </3 well.. maybe she eventually will. She'd love the idea of one day getting married to a noble suitor who her family approves of. But "leaving" the Black family would break her little heart.
She's certainly not racist, but is terrified of animal races, and Mekett, Tigrans (do these even exist anymore?) And especially predators like jungle cats.
She does love ponies though. <3 Just don't lie to Lizzy and she'll adore you. But teasin' works, she is very gullible.

As far as your art goes: I will probably decipher a facial expression, if I can't really depict both wallflower & vigilance I might just go for a neutral or stern expression

Character Name: Marco Lyonn

Character description: Marco is a very tall and slim Talar, he has white (dyed), long hair with green "highlights" in on the top of his head, he has a normal sized nose. His ears are long and pointy and his eyes are light blue. He has light eyebrows and his chin is more hidden than visible, he has broad shoulders and some visible muscle on his arms, he wears a dark coat, with the sleeves pulled up, he also wears dark jean - ish pants, on his right arm, he has a metal gauntlet running up his arm about to his elbow, his left arm is tattooed completely, he wears emerald earrings. His shoes look like dress shoes (also black :P ). Also on his right leg, he has a dagger sheathed with a hilt engraved with emeralds and sapphires. (Phew! Done that part!)

Personality: For this drawing I would love him if his face was turned into a mischievous grin, a bright smile, or a very serious look. Whatever you feel suits best!

Pose: None really, just as if he was relaxed, maybe his left hand in his pocket, but still a little visible.

Type of Drawing: A full body, side pose would be amazing! If ya can't do that, a normal body - shot would be great. (P.S if you can do the side shot, would you please make him looking over his shoulder looking straight forward?)

No worries about the use of darling. My sister claims I sound 'southern' with the whole "darling", "dear", "sugarbean", "sugar", and "hun" thing. But I just really like using pet names and it makes me feel happier and more at ease so >w< Don't matter that I am a Northern city gal! Hahah!
And I don't wanna grow up.

Also I should mention that all my previous art requests are failing... My life kinda kick started really hard and every time I keep trying to draw men they look like women. @0Sullivan and @Pastelly

I LOVED THAT BOOK. Kind of terrifying though. I did an illustration for The Once and Future King by T. H. White more commonly known as The Sword in the Stone I was so proud of it.
The pic quality is awful but ehhh

XD It was mainly an issue with Lorenzo (I think that was his name?) and I couldn't do the hollowed cheeks and it kept looking like a girl...
The hair was all wrong too. Looked like a hot mess. And not the good kind of hot mess, y'know? -babbling-

However I can give Rilion another go. My mom got me a Bishoujo Manga art book by Christopher Hart because I got almost all A's 3rd marking period (only one B+ = 87%) So I can reference that. But it mainly shows women and I'm not entirely sure if Rilion will turn out right.
I have a few personal ones to do but I can attempt at it again <3

Also overwhelmed but if I can handle the challenge and not give up halfway through and die slowly over my poor art skills then I give this a strong maybe. Especially since the references are in a familiar style to what I draw.

Totally realize that this defies all the laws of gravity and underwater physics. Like what's up with her hair. And if she was drowning it's doubtful that there'd be a smile on her face but whatever... Drew this when I was upset XD
 
Okay so beside this thread getting all messy and entirely derailed >////< and that I haven't posted art in a while I decided to share one that I did in school. It's a still life. There's a dark smudge under the door idk how it got there and that's the only thing that bugs me about this piece

And then since I'm trying to keep up with all the stuff I haven't posted but is decent enough to post, here's a card I made for my Pawpaw. The explanation behind it is that I have many sentimental family nicknames that he's given me: Squirrel Girl, Squirrely, Princess, and Frog Feet/Frog Toes. When I was a little girl he'd tell me, "Jessie! Oh my gawsh you got frog feet!" And then since I'd believe him, I would whip off my sock, wriggle my toes around in confusion and then grin at him. By now we have kept this up and I refer to him as "my Handsome Frog Feet Pawpaw" or just Pawpaw, but I always tease him about his frog feet.

Why was I making a card? I've posted it on the forums a few times but I'll explain it here because it makes me feel a bit stronger and better about it.
My pawpaw has cancer. Now he had cancer in the past, but it wasn't this bad.
My grandpa (Pawpaw) has stage four prostate cancer. Some info on this is that 99% of prostate cancer is curable. Which is good. I'm glad.
But my Pawpaw got the 1% that isn't. What does that mean? It means that he has maybe weeks or months to live at least. If we get lucky and his treatments continue to go okay then maybe we'll get a year or two or three left. It really varies.

I liked making this card (and the many others I've made) for him because it makes him smile. He's in a lot of pain and the cancer spread to his bones and its in his head too.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't afraid. I'm terrified and upset because in all honesty I don't want to lose him. But before I go on an even longer ramble here's the art and I'll just be quiet about it. <3

So we are working on portraits in Drawing II. This is my face in values using Mirrorboard (reflective but not an actual mirror)
Anyway self portrait. The eyes are kinda anime/manga because that's what I draw at home and all. Pretty proud of it. It needs a bit more chin but overall my teacher said I did pretty good. Naturally I have large eyes but the ones in the drawing could be a bit smaller. That and my hair needs to be finished shading. My teacher said it looked like a "stylized" version of me. >////< pretty proud. Haha. Crappy photo quality sorry. The weird light thing is the natural light outside as we were working pretty much in the dark.
