Massivecraft Resource Pack V9: Your Thoughts & Opinions

Well, the new Massivecraft resource pack is out, and is updated to Minecraft version 1.8. Over all, I love most of the changes. The leaves look nicer, the music discs being instruments helps out with role play, the ores looks darker and grittier. However, not every change is for the best in my opinion. There are some choices I don't like. They are shown in the screenshots shown below:

The two things are the helmets and the sky. In the old pack, the sky looked beautiful. And as for the gold and chain mail armour, the designs were changed completely.

I loved the simple hat with chains coming down off the side. I think it looked very nice, and I used it in RP. The crown design for the gold helmet was nice too, as it added the ability to wear crowns.

Personally I think that stone could look a little less like cement, but that's not too serious an issue really.

It's very pretty in my opinion. I love how the redstone tourches are candles now!
