I think it'd be nice if a map of Aloria would be released, with all of the new continents present. Just to help my RP backstory make sense. I'm found some pretty blurry images on google, but wish to see if a Team Member could help out. :) Thanks

You mean like how it would be one entire world?

I believe igel_son made a comprehensive map of the world of Aloria.

Too bad all the continents were the size of a pixel.

Yeah, I saw that and my eyes suck so I couldn't make much of it. :/

Yea, my map was a calculation about distance more than a real map ;)

This is about where I would estimate the continents of Aloria to be.

Ellador is made up of 3 subcontinents located south of the Northern Continent of Jorrhidr. Ithania is located North of Deandroc but is attached to it at the bottom where the Deandroc Jungles come to a halt as they collide with the Ithania Dessert. Since Faradeen isn't yet confirmed it's not on this map but when it's added it will be opposite of Deandroc. Kelmoria is a semitropical mountain island located south of Regalia but kept fairly cool by powerful ocean currents. Regalia itself is kept warm by those same ocean currents as well as being somewhat closer to Ithania the Kelmoria.

^ You are missing a few places.

Are they instances? Or worlds? And I didn't include Ceardia because Ceardia doesn't exactly fit into the rest of Aloria, so I rather figured it could be it's own universe or something. Perhaps a natural phenomenon connected the two universes in the ocean?

Thanks! Though, the Caerdia missing part is a downer, that clears up some things I'm gonna have to do. Thanks! :)

I once had a project to make a giant world map. The largest problem was hand tracing all the continents with a pencil, so I never finished it.

Haha. Just screenshot the dynmap flat options. Copy and paste into a biiiiiig mspaint file. Upload. :D
And this brings up a cool idea. If the dynamic maps were all put into one; you didn't have to flip screens, all the continents would be place where they should be. They still would be seperate universes but it would make using the dynamic map feel a little more... Dynamic. :)

This is an absolutely brilliant idea, you sir are a geneius!

Marty, if you gave me a quick sketch of where the continents go, I'd be willing to create a compilation of all the worlds available on the dynamic map in one single map of Aloria.[DOUBLEPOST=1371501314,1371498691][/DOUBLEPOST]From what Mech's picture describes of Aloria...
*Ithania- Daendroc's shade of green is different, due to the different biomes.
*Yeah, I see the squares around the pictures. It's because their biomes make the water different shades.
*Done in about 30 minutes.

I'm gonna laugh if my map idea becomes the confirmed layout of Aloria haha. Best part about my idea is it leaves the entire southern hemisphere open for the fitting of future worlds :D

Shayin - Very nice connection between Deandroc and Ithania!

Haha, yeah! I'd like to see something south of Ithania and West of Daedroc... And correct me if this is wrong, but the order of "Discovery" was Aloria, Caerdia, Daendroc, Ellador, and Ithania?

If Ithania is connected to Daendroc, why wasn't it discovered sooner?

This is more like how i view it. My idea of it so far. Silverwind is a still important part of the lore and needs to be included.

Columbus did not discover South America or even Canada just becourse he found america? :P

igel_son, that is all well and true, but he didn't go off and discover Antarctica afterwards. From what I understand Ellador was found after Daendroc, then Ithania. It's only logical that Ithania would have been found before Ellador.

One thing with that map is that Kelmoria seems to be at the same latitude of the jungles of Daendroc. Wouldn't it be higher up than that, with deciduous forests?

Local temperatures vary and real world latitude reasoning doesn't really fit.

The North of Ellador for example is rumored to have frozen from a sleeping dragon sleeping deep under the surface being tended to by the Isldar, according to Dwarven myth.

Myth or Fact, who knows?

The world itself is in a volatile state with it's temperatures etc due to the Cataclysm that destroyed much of the continents 300 years before current lore time.

I am now somewhat relieved that Syracuse is on the complete opposite side of Ellador.

Yay, more dwarven lore for my book!

While looking up Ramen Noodle Recipes on Google, I stumbled upon this image of "Aloria"

Mecharic - It would be very interesting to see it as a part of the south pole!
So is this now officially the positions of the continents?
no no, its just my personal view, i guess we all have one.

I would also like to put Hadar under Daendroc.

This "Aloria" map is from yet another RP server, thou it has been shut down months ago. The map is avaible for download on MediaFire if I'm correct. [NOTE - I've downloaded it myself once - Not near as good as the one Massivecraft got] Also... The name itself, isn't copyrighted. Anyone can use it [And yes... I've checked on the US Registers of Copyright] And last. This map, and the world map of Massivecraft, have almost nothing in common. And I think... Wait... What the... A Noodle site? Oh my...

I want to clear something up. I know that according to the server lore, the actual world Aloria that existed technically never existed, but what about Binral. I have memories of it, but I never hear of it mentioned in any server lore. Does the same hold true for Binral as Aloria then?

wait a second, how can something that existed never have existed?

Luukwullink and the Vrykolakas banished Binral to a dark oblivion.[DOUBLEPOST=1371564738,1371564189][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I think (after Ceardia is banished to a dark oblivion) you should make a full world map, but add more unexplored islands and continents to fill all that ocean space, and world by world you can make these sections of the map "explore-able" and years of coding later, possibly make it so you could travel between worlds by swimming to the world boarder of the ocean, and you will be teleported to the corresponding part of the world next to it on the map.

might be a bit difficult with different size worlds, and that Ithania and Daendroc are connected though.

I believe I suggested to Wessex to make each world end in water on all sides, but it was impossible without worldpainter.[DOUBLEPOST=1371565601][/DOUBLEPOST]Now that I think about it, back when we had Old Aloria and Binral, we used portals to travel between worlds, so they could be different universes, and maybe the portal collapsed and cut us off from the other worlds, and now Ceardia is being destroyed by the portal.

*Not official lore, just me thinking with my keyboard*

Binral is the name of the Universe and Aloria is the name of the Planet/world
