Skill Information
    • Athletic Hobby: Athletic Hobby cover broadly things involving physical labor. This includes but is not limited to lifting heavy objects, carrying other people around, helping others reach a physical fitness goal of theirs, as well as other basic physical labor or athletic roleplay. This hobby is fairly simple but very open ended, allowing the user to manifest their physical prowess however they see fit. Players are asked to self-moderate with what is reasonable and acceptable in roleplay to all participants.
    • Magical Talent: Magical Talent covers broadly things done with magic or that have a magical feel to them. MassiveCraft does not in theory limit the creative freedom of magic roleplay. A mage can create autonomous lights or brooms, give magical effects to drinks, or ignite and douse fires with a simple gesture. Mages can also use their magic to heal and cleanse, so magically closing wounds and restoring lost limbs or healing magical rot of the world can be done. Healing cannot be done before or in combat. Alternatively, mages can use their magic to corrupt and harm. Magic talent has no morality, but to use magic talent a character must be considered a mage of some alignment, and some uses of magic Talent can be considered sinistral magic.

    • Kathar power cannot be denied to them. If anyone uses an Ability/Mechanic that would force them to use Radiant instead of Sinistral Magic, they still use Sinistral anyway.
    • Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as the possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also.
    • Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
    • Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
    • Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.
    Corruption Desire: Everyone would like to someday do a little bit of an "evil corruption arc", but doesn't always know where to begin. Corruption Desire is a good starting point. Kathar can intuit the Corruption Desire of a person by looking at them. Good Corruption Desires may be something like "Is offered power by a dark god that looks appealing" or "is flirted with by a seductive Kathar". Whatever the Corruption Desire, it should be something that is both actionable for a regular player (something they can work towards), and sets a condition for a character that is normally lawfully good to be corrupted to evil and vice by the Kathar. The Corruption Desire should act like a pivotal switch at which the Character's good qualities are reduced and their more evil qualities pronounced. To prevent this from forever damning a Character, this arc can be temporary with a clear cleanse either as an exorcism or some pre-defined action such as "goes to confession" or "is saved by one of their best friends who convinces them back on the true path". The corruption can be either magical through some kind of Void God messing with their mind, or just because the Kathar encourages their bad nature. Note, Corruption Desire does not purely need to be used to Corrupt Characters. A "Good" Kathar can also use Corruption Desire to detect the things and situations they must ever prevent from taking place, to prevent the Corruption of a person.
  • Malrokh is a Vampire. He is not loyal to any of the Bloodlines.

    Common Mechanics:

    • Hidden Scourge: You can magically hide your teeth and Afflicted eyes. This breaks during feeding. If you have the Shape Shifter Mechanic, using this Mechanic while shifted makes you unable to Combat Roleplay. If someone knows your real name and that you're a Vampire, this Mechanic doesn't work on them.
    • Long Living: You live much longer than the average life span of your heritage. You can live up to three times as long, and you can visually stop aging at a chosen age (must be at least 21). Additionally, you are immune to non-magical diseases and Afflictions.
    • Sanguine Bargain: You can grant immunity to Vampirism to any person willing to bargain with you. In turn, if the bargained person attacks you, reveals that you are a Vampire, or reveals the deal, they take massive damage (discuss together what this means before making the bargain).
    • Mind Suggestion: With OOC consent, you can mind-trick Characters into doing your bidding without establishing full Mind Control over them. These simple verbal commands are undetectable, but cannot be more complicated than a single sentence. This does not count as Mind Control and thus Mechanics that provide immunity do not work.
    • Vampire Transformation: You can transform into a Vampire Form, which is a Monstrous form with a unique Vampire-themed design that you can create. This counts as a Disguise and a Monstrous Transformation (illegal in Regalia). You remain in Vampire Form even after reaching 0 HP.
    Special Mechanics:
    • Greater Strength: You are stronger than the average normal person when it comes to out-of-combat tests of strength. Whether it is in arm wrestling or other power competitions, you can always re-roll once, choosing the highest number. You can also carry much heavier loads than other normal people.
    • Free Walker: You are immune to restraints of any kind. If you are bound or shackled, they effortlessly slip off you. If you are imprisoned or locked up, you can walk through locked doors to freedom. Keep in mind, you can still be attacked while attempting to break out!
  • Malrokh is a Mage of the Blessing Origin, described as such; "a Mage who was aligned as a gift or pact with a Demon, God, or another entity."
    His Mage Training is Demonic Training, described as such; "a Mage who learned Magic from a Demon or can only use it because of a possession."
    His Arcane Harmony is at a perfect 100% as he is aligned solely to the following Realms;

    • The Abyss is a realm of darkness, hedonism, and unrestrained freedom, where shadows and eternal red twilight seduce and overwhelm, hosting powerful Demons that seek to impose both liberation and corruption. It is opposed to the Eidolon and allied with the Vortex.
    • The Vortex is a realm of relentless change and defiance where chaos reigns and landscapes shift with every blink. Above all, it is a realm in defiance of fate, that nobody is beyond saving, beyond changing, or beyond redemption. It is opposed to the Eternum and allied to the Abyss.
    Malrokh is a practitioner of the following Magic Schools;
    • TBA pending lore writeup. Most likely Gravity School, Summoning School, Blood School & Tenebrous School.
    • Additional two are gained through investment into Arcane Invocation; most likely Gateway School & Veracity School.

Backstory

  • Lucian Caldus hails from the forests of Tirgunn, originally the second son of an Aristocratic House with ties to the ideologies of the Lothar Order. His lord-father was a fervent supporter of the Purist movement pioneered by the Darkwald, and acknowledged for his monetary donations to their cause. Tragedy befell Lucian when he was captured by a cabal of Vampires in an act of vengeance. Forced to endure a Dread Rebirth ritual, Lucian was forcefully conscripted into the Vampiric cabal, first as blood cattle, and afterwards as a fully fledged Vampire, now renamed Malrokh.

    Though Malrokh's physical form and his nature had changed, notably against his will, his mentality remained true to the morals of his former self. Defying his corruptors, Malrokh fled the ranks of the cabal and swore to destroy the machinations and plottings of all Vampiric actors in Aloria, finding a twisted form of pleasure in using their own weapon, Vampirism, against them, even though he feels disgust for what he has become.
