Alright, for those of you who don't know, Magenta disbanded a while back, and we claimed the land. We have land in Ithania that we are planning to claim, and need the 500 + more power back from Magenta. If you think you are worthy of taking care of Magenta, then post below.

I think Magenta should be destroyed the same way Farmlands was - with an earthquake and a lot of flare. It could be explained that as Ceardea ages the very land itself is becoming unstable (RP-wise) and would make for a nice ruin to visit I think.
 
I agree Mech, I think a storyline of Baver slowly destroying famous places in Ceardia, and finally attacking SilverEdge City (That would make for a great RP war of epicness) would be a good way to send off the world. All this would have to happen shortly after Regalia is released of course, so we'd have a bit of a wait.

For now, either a natural disaster or a Baver attack would be a good way to end Magenta, if no one else wishes to have it.
 
I let it disband cuz The pinkcraftias was ready to let it go :)
 
agreed with mech, I will dissapointed when the get round to trigent, i built over half that city's walls and a few of the nicer buildings as well as the keep ! :(
 
He is Meaning, from what i understand, to leave it claimed until Ceardia goes bye bye to let it die in honor ;D
 
Wait if I may ask, when SilverEdge is discontinued as spawn is it already planned to be destroyed? Because I have wrote and am going to apply for a Daily creeper article about it using a different explanation the complete destruction........Something involving races to give it more back story. Should I just delete all my work and take up drinking? ;(
 
If these other factions are being saved until the end of Ceardia then why was Farmlands singled out?

Magenta was actually an honorable faction, and from the day it was left to an alt, to the day it disbanded, it has been almost as active an area as SilverEdge. As long as I'm here, nothing bad is happening to it. I'm sick of seeing all of these old factions "destroyed for roleplay" when really it's just an excuse to demolish stuff. I don't know what Farmlands you were walking through, but I think some people might disagree with you on that. Also I am not saying Magenta should be destroyed, but was Farmlands actually singled out because no other old factions have been destroyed.
 
Well, but other old factions where perhaps not disbanded (in theory) for months.

Farmlands was trash, no offense. The last time I walked through it before it was "destroyed", it looked like the north of spawn.[DOUBLEPOST=1357801014][/DOUBLEPOST]

Fair enough, but I still think that incorporating a destruction event with Magenta would give its death more meaning then 'well, it vanished with the world'. Then it would have a long-standing place in Roleplay and the lore history of the server, rather then just being another pretty faction that vanished when Ceardia did.
