~ IC Introduction ~
A cloaked man limped into the Dark Lady Emporium, flanked by two men, armored and wearing purple cloth over their shoulders. His face was marred with scars and age, across his right cheek, the bridge of his nose, and his left eye, which seemed to be blind. His mat of dirty-blonde hair and mutton chops made him easily recognizable to the few who knew him during the Lo Crisis, as Amar Tellsam.
He coughed, before beginning. "I know some of ye vill not be able to understand vhat I am saying vecause of ze accent so I vill keep zis brief yes? Ye might recognize me. Ye might not. Some of ye probably 'ave yeard of me at ze least. I am Amar Tellsam. Former Violet Guardsman, and before zhat, member of ze Vigilant Shield. Former leader of ze Violet Resistance." He coughed again, muttering "Fawken cold..." before continuing, "Either vay, enough people have done zees stands zhat you get the idea yes? I am announcing ze reformation of ze Violet Resistance, to combat ze threat to normalcy ze Dragon Vershipers pose. Ve will be mostly military, keeping ze peace, recovering and maintaining records until ze fawks stop burning zhen, zhat sort of thing. If ye vant to join, vell. Fawken do it. Need anyvun willing, fighters, doctors, people good vith numbers, anything." He paused for a moment. "Zhats all, we vill be... over zhere if ye need us." He gestured to a booth to the side, before limping over abruptly with his escort- he didn't seem too keen on prolonging this.
~ OOC Introduction ~
Hello! Yes! I am bringing back this old relic. I say old loosely, as it has only been a year. Welcome back, to the Violet Resistance! For those who are unaware, the Viola was one of the large resistance groups during the Lo Crisis last winter, operating inside the city while the noble-lead Kronau Resistance dealt with matters outside the city. In the end, it crumbled shortly after the Battle of Rothburg after Amar was supposedly killed. Due to a variety of OOC reasons, namely being asked a million times by @TutiDias , he has been brought back (which is possible due to the deaths/maims of the event being retconnable or something I forget it was like 9 months ago). Also because with my other main's shelving, I have been unable to get into the swing of RP again, so I figured, hey, Amar was great. It was my golden era so to speak. Lets try him again.
Essentially the purpose of the Violet Resistance is as follows:
* Take up normal Guard Duties in an informal manor. As we lack a jail or prison, we simply stop crimes we come across and beat perpetrators. Given the situation at the moment, we will be lenient with most crimes.
* Attempt to gather and preserve records of any and all offices we can, including but not limited to the Synode, the Army, the Navy, Commerce, and Criminal Records.
* To attempt to subdue any disorder sewn by the Dragon Worshipers and their Generals.
* To eventually slay the Arken Generals, and the Dragon herself if at all possible.
* To generate RP by starting conflicts with Dragon-Aligned groups in the City Proper and Slums, through both impromptu and (OOCly) pre-planned encounters.
~ OOC Terms ~
(Applicable to Members of the Viola only)
* Players will not attempt to OOCly sabotage the group. IC sabotage is allowed, but tell me first so we can make it more fun ICly.
* Players will not submit false reports OOCly to make themselves look better or anyone else look worse.
* Players will submit reports of activity through the appropriate channels, namely the Google Form, for record keeping purposes. This is mainly to have tangible proof that we are doing things, and so I can keep tabs on player activity to expel inactive members.
* Players will abide by all server rules, within the game and within all chats associated with the Viola.

Amar Tellsam, former leader of the Violet Resistance, is announcing that it has been reformed, to combat the threat of the Dragon Worshipers. Seemingly, the intent is to wrangle some order into the city once more, acting as a temporary and unofficial guard charter, gathering and protecting any records they can get their hands on, and generally causing issues for the Dragon.
