Curae I - A Prayer to the Saint of Union
Emperor Theomar the Holy, Father of the Creeds
May you offer us your wisdom, to guide us towards the Spirit's Will
Your intelligence, so that we might achieve our highest purpose
Your kindness, with an appreciation for the trials our brothers face
Your braveness, for our service towards the Great Way
From our first day to our last
May we live in Union.
Curae II - The Captain General
The Church of the Holy Blood of Theomar was founded under the guidance of First Reverend Astram Kade. However, it has been lacking; for service by cloth must be met with service by blade, to serve and protect the Faithful. We all have our path in life, and that of a Reverend is different from that of a Paladin.
To rectify this need, we announce the creation of the office of the Captain General of the Holy Blood of Theomar. Naturally, a new office needs an occupant. We are proud to share the appointment of Ser Karp Kippings as the first Captain General of our Church, long may he live.
A summary of the new Captain General was included:
Violet Commander of the Crimson Inquisition
Grand Inquisitor of the Violet Order Council
Holy Paladin of the Villiers-Eclaire Order
The Heron's Lance Paladin
308AC New Year Tourney of the Lance Champion
Curae III - A Reconciliation of Interpretation
Under the Tenth Creed, we are granted certain freedom in interpretation to best suit the needs of the people. Despite this freedom, not all interpretations are correct - we are prone to err in our pursuit of greater truth. We must accept this fact to continue our pursuit, for by acknowledging our misunderstandings we may grow to heightened understanding.
We believe that our interpretation of cross-breeding as a sin was, in fact, a misinterpretation. Having such a specific definition of sin to require a magnifying glass to properly understand its correct meaning, we revoke this listing of sin and shall further ponder on this mystery of Spirit.
Curae IV - A Call to Action
The roots of the Tenth Creed have taken hold. With the Churches established, it is your duty as a Unionist to find or lobby for the creation of a church that fits your understanding of Union. My fellow Heads of Church do what we can, but your effort will help us to help you. I am happy to speak with any who would wish to speak with me on this matter.
Similarly, I charge you to continue your pursuit of your path under the Spirit. Know that there is support to help you along that path; if you need it, you need only ask. For those of the cloth, scholars, and philosophers, seek out the First Reverend. For those of the blade, seek out the Captain General. We are here to help.
On this day of The First, may we all walk in the Great Way.
