Humble Beginnings, Cherished Memories

Earlier today, as I walked around my current base, I became bored. After surfing the forums, the MassiveCraft homepage, I came to the Dynamic Map. As I look around at Ellador, one thing caught my eye, the main base of the first faction I joined on this server. The faction was named Fellowship, and at the time I joined, averaged a modest 60-70 players, with around 5-8 on at certain times. The sight of the base tugged a few strings, and I immediately grabbed a boat and sailed on over. Being in the city, where I started, just made me feel so calm, and at the same time, made me realize just how far I've come, and how much I've learned. I've made this thread, as I'd like to hear from you, the reader, the story of where you began, and maybe even see some pictures.

Looks like a cool city. I've moved around a lot, so there aren't many factions where I've had very good memories. There were plenty of good times, but they're scattered between the various factions I've joined. My last faction, however, did leave me with plenty of memories, but it slowly became inactive, so I left. I plan on staying in Barjuk, my Orcish tribe, but I'm kind of a newbie. But I hope to make memories there.

I spawned into Regalia for the first time on the server, was very excited but was in the middle of...a Baver attack. That's not a good welcome to the server to be torched nearly to death promptly.

I first joined Massivecraft, not knowing how it is, thinking it was just a decently large pvp server...
My twin William Chron had found the server earlier that day, and convinced me to join.
I joined the faction he was first in, Zion, back when it was a desert city and Osion existed. (Mecharic)
We had been raided a good amount of times, and we built a skybase of... less than stellar looks. (favoured)
I didn't roleplay or anything, I hated the local chat, you had to switch to get to whisper, yell, and say. Beerando was still on in those times as I remember him in global chat here and there. I was always a decent pvp'er, but my low mcmmo gave me a disadvantage, defending my faction, not that I was the only one, deemed tough.
I had to always hide inside, and all of that... until a kid randomly declared enemy to Zion, while I was officer, I talked to him, and I didn't remember why he declared it, I just know it was pretty stupid. He came to the base fully God armoured, I only had normal iron and a wooden sword. To my luck, I killed him, I felt pretty good about that, but he was raging like a little kid on a sack of candy he wasn't allowed to eat. He begged his items, I only gave like 2 back though.
I then went inactive for a very long time, but not much had changed. Judeflame became more inactive, and bdi1234 also.
I joined for about an hour, wandered about, and be myself when no one was Online. I felt I left for good, I got rid of the Massivecraft IP, and was inactive for over a month. I came back a while later, joined Vyena (Jj2482) and started raising some skill.
The people in the faction helped me be a bit more open to the community, and I had never roleplayed before.
After time, I joined chronikatr, and enjoyed the little time I was there. I'm not going any further for this one, I don't enjoy flaming.
I then met Octobergwen on teamspeak, and she was very sweet to me. I joined Osai, it was her and her members that helped me open to the community. She taught me how to roleplay, and showed me around the place. The members helped me raise some Mcmmo by showing me where the darkroom was, they were very open to talk to me. I wasn't quite the same until quite later.
then, sh*t came down, Osai was gone.
Now I faction hop a bit, I cant really get a faction I liked as much as before.
I joined bloodshed, met TechPac and Melford, I roleplayed with mel.
it was quite fun, and after about a month I left bloodshed.
I then joined snowcrest, and Omnomivore was willing to invite me to it, I had met her about the week before on teamspeak.
My roleplay character is Seransic Faitoshi, I joined the forums a few months ago, and I am already decently well known and I post too much. As you can see in the top posting members.

I joined back in the days when people like Jubbins, x_sam_boi_x, Darkfeather, Syko, BeeRando, ThreeDimensia, nashor, jmgx, Wistaf, karibu6, ItsNickBarry, SquintyThePanda, Aerodefense, luukwullink, Pallie30, and TaxConsumption were around (or soon to be around). Two of those people recently returned. My first faction was Serenum (on their island base) in November 2011, when Darkfeather was leading. I was also a part of Darkness, lead by Wistaf, Deldrimor (lead by Syko then Bsavs), and the Pinkcraftian Empire (Pinkcraft, Magenta, Cerise, and Fuschia, all lead by igel_son and Thedric). Back then, there was lots of killing with /tpa and many attempts to conquer the server. Also, there were hourly restarts and SpoutCraft was highly recommended.

I remember my first time on the server. I wandered out into Ellador and was attacked by a vampire using intent. I remember how hard it was trying not to burn to death in the sun but eventually got used to it. I remember my first raid on the Crimson HQ. I remember the death of my friends characters. I remember being alone. I remember searching for Daemons. I remember betrayal. I remember revenge.

I started way back in the days of Aloria and Binral and had absolutely no idea what was going on. I set up a little camp outside spawn until it was ransacked resulting in me joining Pristina, led by the infamous ItsNickBarry, and being coerced out of my 30 silver. And then some other stuff happened and I became trusted, no wait I am forgetting something...
My time here has gone something along the lines of Pristina → Deldrimor → Serenum → Alamut → Avignon → Viridia

I joined the server around eight months ago, back when silveredge was the /spawn point. The day I joined I joined a faction. Morgannwg. The same faction I now lead under a different name, Morthion. So yeah, I've only been in one faction for my entire 8 months, so I have no memories of previous factions, although this place has changed a lot since I started...

I immediately left the spawnpoint (silveredge), and got infected by a vampire. We lived together in a cave for a few weeks, then i joined trigent, when it had 50+ members and at least one on at all times. Then everything went to griefing hell, when we recruited every noob who didn't read the rules. Everyone became inactive, Ceardia and the old base was destroyed, and now I'm rebuilding Trigent in Ithania

When I started, my brother was the first to log on. He only got a few items and actually found a diamond helmet (he became frustrated when he learned he can't wear it). Then I logged on and wandered SilverEdge a bit. One of RisingSun's officers (I forgot his name) was advertising for RisingSun. I requested to join and got into their system (RSColony). After starting in RSColony and moving on to RisingSun (where I started "roleplay"), one of those officers (Madman1011) started a new faction, Olympus. After continuing to improve my skills in roleplay (not really though) and mcmmo, I left for Osai (I think it was at the time Mecharic) where he very soon gave leadership to OctoberGwen and I was no longer officer. I improved my roleplay skills from a god-rp'ing maniac to a decent roleplayer. When Regalia came out, I found a few more RP'ers and when Gwen was banned, I left. I came back a month later (after lots of Tekkit fun) and was a new character. I now struggle to find roleplay because everyone is a vampire or a noble. (Too many).

My time on MassiveCraft can be summarized as follows: I started my game living in a cave and now I'm a Regalia Noble who runs a bank and owns 2 factions. I win.

I joined Last year and did very crappy RP as a vampire, after a few months I left it, forgetting about it, then i cam back, I don't remember why but I'm glad I did. Then I cam back as Andrew Fletcher, a failed try at a Mage-Elf.. I joined Osai about 2 weeks before it was destroyed, Andrew died, I became Lucian Dark, he committed suicide, Now I'm Aaron Caligo, A hopefully-not-so-crappy Vampire, and I recently joined Itomi...
