Sarah Valor...

Once upon a time ago (around two years ago), I settled on an Island I was given. With a handful of members, me and my officer, @STEVENonFIRE, decided over a few days that we needed a new faction name. "Overlords" was outdated. It took a few hours before we agreed that "Valor" is a nice word. Very simply, a nice word. "How do we make that sound like a faction?" we asked ourselves. "Let's just very elegantly paste an '-ian.' in the end there and call it a day." Voila. Valorian.
And now that we were in the category of naming things, I thought to myself: "I want a name, too!" Then I thought; "I like my name." So I began with "Sarah." Half way there. Thinking back to the previous naming, I remembered the word "Valor." So I decided to paste that in as my last name. Hence, "Sarah Valor."

~ The End.

Ermagerd. Where to start?

Alison Vigoli: First character on the server. Alison was a name I'm particularly fond of. Vigoli has a bit of a story. My grandfather was taken care of by his mother and stepfather. His real father was unknown, but when she passed, they discovered at the time, she'd been sending letters to a mysterious man with the last name Vigoli...

Esther Lo: Lo was pre-planned. It was the family name. Esther is a gorgeous name that reminds me of antiquity.

Umon Pelinelion: Searched avidly on Elven name generators. Umon means 'Evil Man' and Pelinelion is 'Son of Fading Star'. Super cliche, I know.

Cecily Lo: Actually, the character originally belonged to @littlemsclumsy when we first kicked up the family. I adopted her after Esther died.

Piper Duchamp Pim: Pip was originally made for another roleplay under the name 'Piper Josephine Pim'. I wanted to go for a bit of a steampunk feel. Piper is a name I've loved quite a bit for years now. Pim was a cute name, and I went with Josephine so I could call her 'Piper Jo Pim'. I wanted a name that was memorable and to the point, and that rolled off the tongue well.
I went with Duchamp when @Luthien and I agreed to have them be related. ;D

Edward Peacefavor: Son of Alison Vigoli, Edward was Ali's father's name. Ed's godfather is Rufaro Peacefavor.

Matsuno Naomi: I wanted an oriental name that was a bit less... oriental. That is, a way to demonstrate that oriental names didn't have to be unpronouncable to the english tongue. Naomi is her first name, Matsuno her last, as the naming structure is usually opposite to ours.
