Overview
House Sokolov is a blue blood Krainivaya Ailor house founded in Novhorod in Zemlya Obitovana in 48AC. Their founding of a great temple of Unionism in the region marked a significant change, and faithful have traveled from all around the Archipelago in a sort of pilgrimage.
The family was ennobled in 72AC by the emperor for their service to the faith, after they either removed or converted the previous Velheim population of the region, through warfare or proselytization across the entirety of Novhorod.
Province: Novhorod, Zemlya Obitovana
Colors: Red, Black, Gold
Title: Count(ess) of Novhorod
Wealth: Acquired through religious tithes, and later the mineral wealth of the province.
Design
House Sokolov is a devout Unionist house, from it's founding in 48AC through to the present day. It has always remained fiercely loyal to the Emperor and the Imperial family, being amongst the first to answer the call to arms whenever requested. It has supported the ideals and the goals of the Herebrand Order since it's inception, and later shifted it's support to the Lothar Order following it's acquisition of the Herebrand Templars. Sokolov men and women commonly sport skin on the paler side, and darker hair colors with lighter blue or grey eyes. There are of course a few standouts to this rule, most notably the current countess.
Wealth
The wealth of House Sokolov was primarily derived from religious tithes dedicated to their great fortress temple constructed in the region, and it still largely is to this day. Attempts to branch out and further secure this income have been made in more recent years, including mineral excavations and mines in the surrounding mountains extracting wealth from the earth.

Anichka Sokolov | Anichka is the current matriarch and countess of House Sokolov, following her grandmother's recent passing. She is one of two twins, and a Godborn of the Unionist god Nolven. She was raised and educated within the walls of the great temple, and joined the Herebrand Order once she was of age. Upon the Order's revocation of it's charter, and it's subsequent migration to the Lothar Order, she has followed suit, and now serves as a Lothar Knight of the Herebrand Chapter.

Temple of the Holy Flame
The ancestral home and established holding of House Sokolov, the Temple of the Holy Flame has stood on the mountain above the city for several hundred years, housing every generation of the family since it was built. A common site of pilgrimage for many Unionists, the sprawling fortress holds many amenities such as a central grand chapel, family housing, an orphanage, and it's own garrison.
Novhorod City
Starting out as a small walled township in the area below the temple, Novhorod city quickly developed into a fortress-city protecting it's inhabitants from whatever may lurk in the dark. Gothic architecture is the overwhelming theme of the city, with it being entirely constructed from slate and stone mined from the surrounding landscape.
