The Brosseau family is a wealthy Noble family coming from Ithania, whose main source of wealth is it's elegantly designed clothing and jewelry, along with it's mining operations. The Holakin family was merged into it with the marriage of Count Jean-Philippe Victore Brosseau and Baroness Rosaria Holakin. The Embele family was later absorbed as well due to a marriage between Jade and Alexandre Embele.

House Holakin began in Velenal, Vixhall, in 265 AC during Supreme Patriarch Petros the Firsts' short reign. The house was previously a fairly wealthy commoner family, which ran several relatively successful Lapis mining operations, which quickly brought in great profits. After much political maneuvering on the behalf of the House's soon-to-be first Head, Baroness Lillie Holakin, the family was elevated to nobility. This was not a good sign for other Lapis mining operations in the area. After several months of coincidental accidents befalling their competitors, Holakin Mining became one of the largest excavators of Lapis on the Eastern Coast.


As one would imagine, the family made many long term enemies through these 'coincidences', and Baroness Lillie was poisoned at a dinner party only 5 years after her family's elevation. Despite this however, the family continued to do well in the mining business, opting to avoid the more aggressive tactics of their founder, and instead seeking to diversify into not only mining, but processing Lapis and other minerals. When a large conspiracy happened involving the matriarch and her child being kidnapped and held hostage, leaving Valda Holakin as the patriarch, it ended with the suspicious deaths of both Valda and Ramona. Their daughter, Rosaria, left for Regalia, while their son, Nathaniel, took over as patriarch.


Since then, they have focused primarily on the processing of minerals- particularly Lapis- as well as the mining process on the side. They have also delved briefly into dyes and timber over the years. During the Bone Horror crisis, House Holakin suffered heavy losses. The mining business is a dangerous one, and as a result there was a very large number of buried bones within their land. The patriarch, Nathaniel Holakin, was forced to give up his title and the family was absorbed into House Brosseau, keeping them from losing Velenal. Nathaniel had never involved himself too deeply in the politics of nobility, and doesn't miss much of it, being content with the wealthy commoner's lifestyle at his home in Velenal.

Nathaniel Holakin- The quick-tempered and protective older brother to Rosaria, only other living member of the Holakin family. Current leader of the Holakin mining operations in Velenal.

Etienne Brosseau- Phillip's wise uncle, his father's older brother, who mentored Phillip after he lost his family and taught him how to be a noble. He took care of everything in Clourenze before he became worried about his age and Phillip took over, claiming the title his brother had left for him.

Elise Brosseau- Phillip's aunt, his father's younger sister, who had been in Regalia for a long time and he didn't know her growing up. She didn't find him in Regalia until he stopped going by "Phillip Helgen"

Luis Embele- (Approved Sheet) Brother to Alexandre and Aceline, he is the polite and refined patriarch of the Embele family and owner of the wine and spice trade companies in Les Bois Indigo, in Northern Vixhall.

Aceline Embele- Aceline is thought dead from the Bone Horrors, as she was unable to escape from Ithania. She is/was the educated and well-learned twin to Luis. Playing her involves coming up with a reason she survived the Bone Horrors and just now showed up in Regalia.

Isaac Brosseau's Family- These characters are all write-ins, up to the applicant.

Elise Brosseau- Phillip's aunt, his father's younger sister, who had been in Regalia for a long time and he didn't know her growing up. She didn't find him in Regalia until he stopped going by "Phillip Helgen"
