The Beauchêne family is a relatively unknown and incredibly new family in the archipelago. The family was formed after Nicolette d'Eluise, to-be Ravenstad, opted to abandon her name in favour of her newly taken 'Beauchêne' in an attempt to gain greater independence - an ideal often held in high regard by the Ithanians and certainly held amongst the lesser House of Beauchêne. The youthful Beauchêne's plan to make their mark in the medical world to further good practice and medical advancements in Regalia, and the Empire.

The family is known to hold socially progressive viewpoints, like many Ithanians. Though progressive as they are, these are often quite focused on Priscellist views.

The family heraldry contains a Royal Oak tree (A representative of steadfast will and defiance in the face of adversity) in an upper left canton, coloured cyan - a hark back to the d'Eluise family. The other three quarters of the escutcheon is coloured seafoam green with a hare salient. The entirety is bordered by black.

Nicolette-Laurine Beauchêne - Current Matriarch of the Beauchêne family.

Trevor Beauchêne (@NariTheKamikaze) - A dear friend of Nicolette's, the pair have known each other for many years- Adopted brother.

Melisendre Beauchêne (@supahcute) - Once having been under Nicolette's employment, Mel deemed herself worthy of being adopted into the family- Adopted sister.​

In recent months, Nicolette has vanished from public eye in Regalia, though not without reason. Her time gone from the Holy City has seen her purchase a small plot of land in north Rivellia, which contains a small estate, more akin to a country house and an abandoned factory.

​

As mentioned prior, the Beauchêne family holds a small factory in Rivellia, though it was not mentioned what they produce. Nicolette, a proud holder of the 'The Noble Heart Minor' and fervent believer in the progress of medicine. She therefore has dedicated her time and effort to the production and supplying of medical instruments and tools.
