Family Origins: ​

The Beauchêne family settled in the province of Osteiermark in 190 AC and began accruing wealth through manufacturing artisan clothes and fabrics. Over a century later, Countess Maria Beauchêne (wed to Lord Kristofer du Poncaire) assisted in rallying support alongside the Darkwald order and fought off the undead until the threat was defeated. For meritorious service in the Undeath Terror Crisis the Beauchêne family officially received ennoblement, granting the Countess and her husband their title and land in Budelle. The passing of the Countess in 310 AC left her eldest daughter, Lisette du Poncaire, to take up the reigns as Countess Beauchêne.
