Yvette was born one of many children in her family. Growing up with many siblings meant she had to share often, whether she liked it or not. It also meant, however, that she always had someone to play with. Being very outgoing, she would spend a lot of time with her siblings.
As a young teen, it became clear she had a lot of interest in science and animals. She loved horses and often got scolded for petting other people's pets and horses without asking first. Her parents picked up on her interest soon and she was sent to a veterinary school for several years in Ithania. She was also educated on manners and etiquette, although this was something she was initially very resistant to. After leaving to study, she became more independent and began to talk to the family less.
As a late teen / young adult, her mother passed away. This was incredibly hard for her and after a few years of struggling, she decided to live closer with her family by attending the Medical Academy of Eotranna in Regalia.
