Welcome to the Dominion Roleplay thread! Below you will find all of the information you need to get into Dominion Roleplay, for day to day RP or any events we may be running. This is an on-going project that we will be working on for the foreseeable future, check back every now and then to watch it grow! Roleplay in the Dominion is designed to be a streamlined variant of roleplay on Massivecraft that is intended to work alongside official Regalia Roleplay. It aims to equip Roleplayers, Survival players and PvPers with characters in a way that allows all of the separate play styles to function in one living, growing lore-accurate world. Dominion Roleplay will be fairly open and free-form but if needs be one of the designated ‘archivists’ will step in to guide things. Don’t meta-game. Your character is not all knowing or all powerful, try and act within the bounds of the information your character would know or actions they would be able to do. Do not disrupt the roleplay of others. If people are roleplaying you can still play around them but if you don't wish to join their RP, do so in character. Don’t force RP on others. If someone doesn’t wish to RP with you at that time, or does not wish to RP a specific topic, respect their wish. Do not engage in erotic roleplay. Any ERP visible in a public chat will result in removal from Dominion RP. Erotic roleplay with a minor is always forbidden. (If someone attempts to engage in ERP and you are uncomfortable with it, message a Dominion council member or Massivecraft staff member.) Other Rules shall be added as issues arise, we ask that everyone taking part uses their common sense when Roleplaying. The word of a Council member or Archivist is final. The existence of factions is canon in Dominion roleplay. The Kingdom of the Dominion is a collection of nation states collected under the banner of the Dominion with Deldrimor acting as the capital city and political center. Your faction does not need to be a part of the Dominion to take part in the RP and Events, though if you do wish to join the Dominion, contact a council member. Sevak shall have the final say. Factions Documents will be posted below alongside the Character documents. There can be no RP without characters. Whilst you can RP without a character application the things you may be able to do and the stories you can be written into are limited. For a more indepth look, the full document is linked here Do not create a ‘Mary-sue.’: A character who is perfect in every way. Consider character flaws. Do not break the lore or roleplay anything too lore incomplient. This is very rarely likely to be an issue for most people but, if you are unsure, ask an Archivist. Do create an original character. Taking inspiration is fine but try not to simply be a character from some other media, or someone else's Massive RP character. Do not create a character above their station. The Dominion factions are considered entities in the lore, so you can’t roleplay as a Lord if you don’t at least own some land. The Dominion will be holding events over time, be they survival or lore events. The events themselves and their descriptions will be listed and linked here. Check back so you don’t miss any.
