Life Story: Birth Born on the thirty-first of October, 288 A.C to a Crimson Witch Kathar mother Sylvanna Evorain and a Kathar father, Arson Evorain, she was raised within a middle class family that belonged to the outskirts of the large city of Paärthalaär. With her mother and father creating their own hunting business, they would make well over enough to survive and live off of. From an early point in her life, Valyria would be grown up with the void, believing in it's higher power compared to other beliefs. Childhood (10-18 years) Growing up, surrounded by extreme amounts of support, Valyria was bound to take on the family's hunting business. Being trained to perfect the use of a crossbow, Valyria would go on hunting trips along with her parents in the forest. She has became a deadly shot by a young age and made a name for herself in her parent's line of business. She would also learn about the nature and animals around the forests, obtaining her first pet, a crow named "Pike". On her free time, she would go down to a well known sorcery shop, interested in the use of sorcery to travel and get around, she would ask to be an apprentice in the shop. She studied the art of sorcery in books as she worked along side her parents in their hunting business. Adulthood (18-45 years) At the age of twenty, the crimson witch would bid her parents farewell as she made her way to the docks, taking a ship to the city of Daenshore. While she was there, she would hunt in the vast plains of the Shevaix province, determined to continue and spread her parent's business in another part of the world. It was hard for the crimson witch. One day as she returned home from a hunt, she would find her home burnt down to the ground. In a fury of anger, she would instead find the group of people who has done her mischief, and spilt their blood, one by one using her skills in archery and alchemy. With the blood now on her hands, she simply changed that day. She began to realize what her father and mother meant when they said “the outside world was horrible and miserable.” After word spread of what happened, Valyria instead caused more crime to this province. She would break in, steal, and escape before anyone has found out. Living her life of crime, she would catch talk of a place called Regalia with it's booming city and economy. Interested in the place and possibly starting a new life, she would get on a ship to Regalia. As she arrived at Regalia, it seemed more miserable for her than ever. She was treated the same way as she was in Daen due to what she was. She would eventually find sanctuary deep down in the sewers and in crime towns, hoping one day for the thriving city above to crumble. After being on the wrong side of the law, Valyria had to pay for her crimes as Erwin cuts off her right arm as punishment. That caused Valyria to despise the law even more. To get back her arm, she went in search for an engineer to build her an arm for replacement of the missing limb. She would eventually meet a golem named Anarchy. They would construct her an arm along with giving them engineering books. Due to her impressive memory (Inth Gift), she would learn the designs and components very quickly, also being able to modify them to her liking. To learn Daendroque, the character will need to spend points on Linguistics as they aren't a native speaker and neither of their parents are Daendroque. I find it strange that a Crimson Witch from the Dread Empire would have some sudden revelation that "the world was not as welcoming as it was told in stories from her childhood," Dread Kathar are essentially raised in a cutthroat Void-worshiping society that inherently despises the outside world. Everything's fine for the most part, but there are a few minor edits that should be made before I can give this the greenlight: Your current proficiency spread is super stacked an unfocused. Having Sorcery, multiple Ranged Profs, Engineering and Roguery all on the same character heavily dilutes what the character's actual niche is. The Steamtek engineering especially so, as it feels very out of place on a Crimson Witch. I would recommend condensing your build and cutting one or two of these categories to avoid concept poisoning. Once you've made the necessary edits please tag me for a re-review, thanks!
@Yurs I got rid of heavy ranged combat and roguery and added it into utility and sword combat. I hope this is good because I really want to keep engineering and sorcery.
