On the subject of House Mac Conall,

The assertions that I, or any other members of Casa Playero were responsible for robbing the fortunes of House Mac Conall are completely false. The reality of the situation was that I had frequent and numerous contact with his Grace Cillian Mac Conall in planning and financing the operation in Daenshore on the 8th of April. With his direct consent, Big Tony, Lucio, Xabi and I embarked on our mission with the full-throated consent of House Mac Conall. The idea that we have any means of stealing the wealth of the Duke, or his family, is outlandishly wrong and House Mac Conall will never prove this with any evidence - because such does not exist. This is purely an attempt to save face, in front of their fellow Noble Peers, who deem any cooperation with us as the death of them, when in reality, our expedition to Daenshore was an act of loyalty to the Empire against the Second Allorn Empire who does not even recognise our Emperor as legitimate.

Due to my innocence, I will hand myself in to the relevant authorities once I am assured due process. Unfortunately, my cousin, a pregnant woman, was beat by the Violet Order inside her own house due to her loose association with me. This does not fill me with any confidence.


On the subject of the accusations by his High Grace,

The accusations by High Grace Markus Delmotte surrounding my meeting with him in his Estate is, as well, misconstrued. Like any good lie, there are pieces of truth in his notice that he called the 'Final Nail in the Coffin'. I did, in fact, travel to his Estate to ask for legal advice, but I did not seek him out to be an Attorney on my behalf. With the greatest respect, I could not trust a man whose family has made it their mission to scrub the memory of my family out of existence. His High Grace did in fact give me useful legal advice, but that was not mentioned in his memorandum. He further claimed that I devoted myself as a 'Paragon' of Jacobinism. I have stated both in public and in private that I am not a Jacobin. I wholeheartedly reject Jacobinism as a political ideology, and I have done so in the past and will continue to do so, so long as those who do not understand its meaning label me one. His High Grace further claimed that I refused to abandon criminality in return for him working as my Attorney (something I have already stated that I did not ask for). Instead, he demanded of me that I defile the legacy and image of my family, turn against them - an act that even the most self-loathing man in Aloria would refuse.


The truth, in reality, is the opposite. During the Chancellory Election, despite claiming how much he detests Casa Playero, he sought out me in particular to do his dirty-work. As some may recall, his High Grace Delmotte ran for Chancellor and narrowly lost to the current Lord Chancellor, Augustin Reinard. His High Grace wanted to hire me to conduct espionage, dig up dirt and harass the other candidates for Chancellor, including (but not limited to) Duke Mac Conall, the Hound Lord Hengest Harhold and the Lord Chancellor Augustin Reinard. Due to my inability to trust the man, I flatly rejected his offer of criminality. Ever since this moment, he has made his duty to bury me and this information that I hold about his interactions with my family.


On the subject of the Imperial Regent,

I would like this opportunity to publicly congratulate the recently ascended Imperial Regent, Raymond Kade. The Regalian Empire was long overdue a leader with Republican tendencies, and his recent efforts in democratizing the State through District Elections is applauded by many Daendroque and Republicans across the Crown City. As a Republican myself, who is committed to the ideals of Republicanism and Daendroque Nationalism, I look forward to the future of the Empire under his guidance. My actions in Daenshore, including the spreading of pro-Empire material and holding pro-Empire rallies in defense of Daenshore and Daen-kind reflect this Republicanism. With that, I hope the Imperial Regent can understand my unfortunate plight.
