To all good Unionists,

In light of better days, the Inquisition of Theomar's Deliverance has deemed it necessary to reflect upon the progress and work that it has taken to reach this new moment of peace and clarity within the jewel of the Empire.

☼ I - Stability of the Charters
☼ II - Victory in the Countryside
☼ III - Distribution of Honors
☼ IV - Visibility of the Clickers

IStability of the ChartersI

A topic that must not be brushed quickly upon is the relations between the Inquisition of Theomar's Deliverance and its brothers-in-arms; namely the Arcanum, Old Guard, and Iron Watch. Upon the Inquisition's creation, it has been looked as if not a cohesive team, however, we are in fact a well oiled piece of clockwork. The Iron Watch has participated in a spar and patrol and has taken down a few Clickers with our men. We are confident in our ability to mend relations and would like to extend an invitation to any charter to join our daily rallies held in Greygate at 4 EST (Extended Spirit Time). The Inquisition works towards one goal, to uphold the true principles of the Empire. The way in doing so may be looked at harshly by the public, including other charters, but within the last few weeks, extraordinary things have been accomplished. With that said, the Inquisition will continue upholding said principles, and will not halt from a fallen brick in the road.

II Victory in the Countryside II

One of the greatest threats to Regalian peace and stability is Jacobinism. These insane radical zealots threaten to interfere in the daily life of the pure populace with ideals that mislead and corrupt morale until there is nothing left to take.

The Inquisition recently received an Imperial Missive by the Emperor regarding a Jacobin camp that had set up far too close to the city's walls. Their plans to wreak havoc in the name of 'Democracy' had been sniffed out. As a result the Inquisition lay siege to their camp and dispatched those calling for this toxic ideology and execution of the nobility. The Divine Justice of the Inquisition flowed like a river across this camp, purging the evils that lay within.

The punishment towards these Jacobins allowed no survivors; such a crime against the Regalian people will grant no other punishment as Just as this. To all Jacobins within the Imperial City, take heed, for the mission of the Inquisition is not over. All precautions will be enacted.

If you see Jacobinism sprout in your community, the Inquisition urges YOU to act. Tell your nearest Guard or Inquisitor. The Inquisition will not let this unholy infection of ideas spread from the insane to harm the fragile peace of this city. Do your part to better Regalia. If you see something, say something.

IIIDistribution of HonorsIII

The Inquisition honors every one of their members. However, regarding the recent attacks, the Divine Commission has selected a few men whose incredible efforts within the battle changed the battle for the better. The first medal distributed was the Medal of Ledra, presented to Prefectus Otto Aachenburg, for his loyalty and tough efforts leading the distraction maneuver against the main gate of the Jacobin Stronghold. The second medal was the Medal of Firm Dawns, presented to Prefectus Aldebrand Ludenhof, for his exceptional skill in combat. The final medals were called the Medal of Bone, presented to Prefectus Ulrich Gaufridsson and Inquisitor Ilclyfe Ai, for leading the killings on a pair of clickers as they meant to attack the camp during the purge.

IVVisibility of the ClickersIV
As the battle in the Jacobin camp was about to come to an end, the sound of swords clashing and shields bashing alerted demons nearby. Jacobins already surrounded and nearly dealt with, a dreadful clicking sound was heard. From the walls, two fifteen foot tall Clickers crawled into the Stronghold, letting out their unnatural shrieks. While these jacobin swine meant to surrender to such vermin, the Inquisition held true.

The first clicker that emerged from behind the Inquisition, where a single Inquisitor stood watch. They attempted to use alchemy against the monster, but to no avail, it failed. The clicker then swiped, and struck the Inquisitor, splintering his shield and dislocating his shoulder. At this point, another Inquisitor stood to face the monster, gaining it's attention as the first Inquisitor rose, and struck the monster, killing it for good.

Since then another six clickers have been killed, having occurred just yesterday. By assistance of both the Iron Watch and The Arcanum two clickers were killed at the coliseum during a daily sparring session, while two others met their end with combined assistance as the Festival Grounds, with the Iron watch taking on more as they protected the citizens in Rosecourt. Should these numbers continue, the Clicker Crisis and it's terrible memory will fade into just that- memory. Let us pray together that no more will lose life to such vile creatures.

VThe Dangers AheadV

Although the Inquisition cannot predict what is truly to come, we see a bright and united city. The path to this will be long and arduous, but this is work that we will not shy away from. The laws of this city will be enforced, the creeds of Unionism upheld and peace protected as long as the wind blows. Ave

Ave and Spirit Bless,

Grand Inquisitor of The Inquisition of Theomar's Deliverance
Kommandant of The Kreiguard Division

Cheers again to staff for hosting the above mentioned event!

Alaric, while shredding a document, looked at the finished missive, nodding.

"Ave."

The elderly Reverend sat within the top floor of the Church's offices, Aelfric scribing down his afternoon sermon for the next day as well as some plans for the next holiday on the Unionist Liturgical Calendar. Periodically throughout the morning, Curates would step up to his desk to offer him papers and the like or perhaps ask for guidance in their daily clerical duties.

The octogenarian soon grew tired of this however, the holy man pushing back his seat and rising weakly with the assistance of his cane. With the assistance of a servant, he made his way down the three flights of steps at a snail's pace before he finally was able to reach for the door knob and be met with the fresh air of a cool Spring's day. He now tottered forth along the cobbles of the Holy City in the direction of the Willow.

***
Aelfric dipped his head to passerby's in his approach towards the Golden Willow, the High Exarch soon finding himself stood before the steps which led up to the notice board. A frail hand shakily made it's way down to the lower half of his vestments, tightening about the cloth as he rose it slightly in the fashion of a woman adorning a dress. While not the most masculine action, it was something necessary as to defend the Reverend from a nasty fall. However, even with it's necessity, he still could not help but frown as he did so.

The Harhold emitted an exasperated sigh as he finally reached the top of the steps, Aelfric taking a few more feeble steps before he found himself before the notice board. As always, he reached into an unseen pocket within his robes, pulling out his golden rimmed spectacles. The elder placed them gently upon the bridge of his nose, the legs falling behind his ears, his dark blue eyes soon glazing over the various pieces of parchment until he found something that interested him.

As he came upon the seal of the Inquisition, a light smile creeped upon his visage, his gaze looking over the words scribed down by the Grand Inquisitor.

Satisfied with the words written so far, his eyes then met the signatures of the Grand and High Inquisitor respectively. The Exarch offered a prideful dip of his head, the old noble seemingly pleased with what was said. The man offered an, "Oratario Ode." to the onlookers around him, before returning to the steps to descend and return back to his office to finish his work.

Arien looks over the paper, intrigued. "I would like to see one of those tin cans define Jacobism beyond liking Kathar. All I hear them shout is AVE and ONTARIO ODE. Seriously, what does it mean?" She smirks and laughs quietly to herself, then shoves the paper back into her pocket, going back to tending the Nook's bar.

Karai snatches the paper, then tosses it aside "That paper won't stop me cause I refuse to read it!"

A certain Altalar peered over this, expression falling quietly into stillness, unnatural softness as her gaze re-ran over the words. "Your lives will not be forgotten," she murmured. Her pale face then hardened into fierceness and she turned away, "let's see how they like my 'justice'," she said with lethal softness as she stalked away.

To the people of Regalia and all good Unionists,

In response to these claims from the Inquisition regarding their relationship with his Imperial Holiness and a supposed missive, the Emperor would like to make it clear to the populace that he has not communicated in any way shape or form with the charter. Similarly, he has not sent them any missives directly or indirectly as this would have come from myself, who has not had a single meeting or line of communication with the charter.

It is advised that the Inquisition do not exaggerate the work they are doing for Regalia in order to deceive the populace or improve their public image, and that citizens remain vigilant in separating facts from falsities when faced with those willing to bend the truth for their own gain.

I can assure that any future claims of receiving imperial missives from the Inquisition or otherwise will be publicly approved or refuted by myself to avoid further deception.

To the people of Regalia,
After personally speaking with the Grand Inquisitor, I would like to clarify that the Inquisition is not at fault for what has occurred. An internal investigation is taking place regarding the missive in question and the charter are to continue as they were with the knowledge that his Imperial Holiness had no involvement in this.

I will take this opportunity to state that all communications to and from the Emperor will come strictly through myself only, and I am available for personal meetings should such a missive be received without evident approval. Similarly, anyone found to be impersonating imperial staff or royalty will be swiftly punished due to the treachery and treason involved in this act.

Spirit's guidance,
