The seal of the Crookback Council marks the top of the page, signifying it as an official poster and not gang-related. 〚 ◈┇ ════════════ - ‹ •◦ [X] ◦• › - ════════════ ┇◈ 〛 There have been changes coming to crookback and its Council. Silence from the council is no longer tolerable, and I, the Hand of Glee, will ensure that all in Crookback know what’s to happen within their home district. 『 On Council Members 』 Hessolis Cavven’kaar has been removed as the Kaahl Representative after a vote of No Confidence from the Crookbackians! In her place, Kabili Drulvaar has been elected as the new Kathar Representative as per popular demand. Additionally, Mirabella Wyrmac and The Shòu (pronounced like ‘Shoe’) have been elected by the Council as the Crimson and Cerulean representative respectively. Lastly, Alban Koning has been picked by the Crookback Representative to be the Hand of Revenge, who will be handling complaints directly, as well as internally moderating the activity of the Militia, ensuring that it does not act unjustly or with bias. As of now, here is the list of Council members and their respective duties: ✦ Valarosta Ino-femnun ┇ Crookback Representative The Crookback Representative brings any issues from the Crookback Council to the Noble Assembly. This position is set in stone, as the Council nor Crookbackians are free to choose their Representative.✦ Abigail Tucker ┇ Hand of Glee The Hand of Glee oversees entertainment within Crookback and ensures that the people of Crookback remain happy and healthy. The Hand of Glee has the secondary job of organizing and overseeing Council events, particularly Crookback Assemblies.✦ Alban Koning ┇ Hand of Revenge The Hand of Revenge takes complaints from the people about the Council to relevant Council members and handles internal corruption checks regarding the Militia and the Council.✦ Harlow Ketch ┇ Hand of Justice The Hand of Justice heads the Militia and ensures that it continues to function in a fair and just manner. The Militia is tasked with enforcing that the mercenary companies, Guards, and Parthas bounty hunters are not making arrests or taking bounties without the proper warrants.✦ Anathema ┇ Magi Representative The Magi representative is a general representative for Mages and magical beings in Crookback that don't quite fit into any particular in-group.✦ Kabili Drulvaar ┇ Kaahl Representative The Kaahl Representative is the elected official meant to represent the Kaahl families within Crookback. ✦ Mirabella Wyrmac ┇ Crimson Representative The Crimson Representative ensures cooperation between the Crookback Council and the Sanguine Covens of Crookback.✦ The Shòu ┇ Cerulean Representative The Cerulean Representative ensures cooperation between the Crookback Council and the Werebeast packs of Crookback. 『 On Proposed Changes to Crookback 』 The following changes are soon to come to Crookback, as approved by the Council in previous meetings of the Crookback Court! 1 ┇ The Checkpoint | The Crookback Militia has set up a checkpoint on Crookback’s side that will be manned by Mister Bennet Clayton on the regular. Mister Clayton is a vigilant and good man, and will be personally ensuring Crookback’s safety. Additionally, the entry square of Crookback is planned to be redecorated and cleaned up into a more ‘presentable’ and generally welcoming fashion. The Hand of Glee would like to make this a public event to promote community within Crookback. Date pending. ((This will likely be on a weekend but I have not had time to block out time for such an event. Whoops.)) 2 ┇Void Gardens and Evolutionist Spaces | The Council has approved for a Void Touched garden, and a space or temple for Evolutionist Cultists to gather, to be constructed somewhere within Crookback. However, none so far have stepped forth to take up the reins of the project. The Council does not know where the Evolutionists would prefer to have their Void Gardens and temple built, if there is any preference to be had. The Hand of Glee implores any Evolutionist cultist ambitious enough to spearhead this project to come forth and discuss specifics with her. My schedule is so hectic OOC right now that I am having trouble being passively around, timed meetings are better for me)). 『 On Voting 』 With the public vote to remove Hessolis from office, the Crookback Council has seen fit to allow for the public to vote on SOME matters. Not all votes will be put to the people, however, a vote can be on request with a majority ‘yes’ decision from the Crookback council. Voting is simple, and works as follows: The decision being voted on will be verbally announced by a member of the crookback Council, and a bell will be rung to signify the start of voting. A period of five minutes will be designated to the votes ((5 OOC minutes!)), during which all who are voting are to give a thumbs up or a thumbs down to signify their vote. The Hand of Revenge and the Hand of Glee will count the votes, and after the five minutes of voting a maximum of five minutes will be taken to tabulate the answer, after which the vote’s outcome will be announced. The council ultimately decides which votes are put to public and which are not, but, anyone in Crookback can call for a vote to be put to the public if they so desire it to be, seeing as by default the Council will vote on most manners. The Crookback Representative has the power to veto the decision to put a vote to the public, and the power to veto the outcome of a public vote. 『 Announcements from the Council Members 』 ┇A missive from the new Kaahl Representative is pinned here.┇ ┇A missive from the new Cerulean Representative is pinned here.┇ 『 Reminders from the Crookback Council 』 ✦ ┇ The Crookback Militia is currently recruiting, looking for those of strong mind, heart, and arm to serve the people of Crookback as protectors and trainers of the community. ✦ ┇ The Crookback Council has a mailbox in the Crookback Tower, where mail to any of the Hands, representatives, or the council as a whole may be placed. These letters may be anything, be they complaints, proposals for upcoming court sessions, or fan mail. The Hand of Glee checks the mailbox daily.
