Allen and Oliver currently scour the city for information on their still missing Uncle. The brothers take shelter aboard their ship, docked in the Regalian harbor. Allen was born to Irving and Aileen Watson in the year 253 AC in Ceardia. Allen has a younger brother, Oliver. His body is covered in hair, though, most notably in his upper chest and arms. Allen wears mostly professional dress while in the city. Button downs with nice coats and a dapper hat. Allen has a modulated, scholarly voice. He speaks carefully and often not without thinking first. He has a slight Ceardian accent. Personality and Abilities The Core List Character Alignment Neutral good - Allen believes in good, but won't shy from doing bad to protect those he loves. Spoiler: Weaknesses Allen's fixation on his studies can often lead him to shut out other people and important things in his life. Allen used this fixation as a crutch after the destruction of Ceardia and loss of his parents. Similarly, he will forget to eat or bathe on occasion. Allen's overconfidence can lead him to make poor decisions at times. When these poor decisions come to fruition, Allen realizes his mistake and tries to learn from it. His overconfidence allows him to have a positive image though, as he holds himself tall. Allen's biggest enemy is himself. He is a self critic when it comes to his work and skill. He remains humble, often talking others up and rejecting compliments. Spoiler: Relationships Oliver Watson: Allen's younger brother and best friend. The two are as thick as thieves. Randolf Watson: Allen's father figure and role model. Randolf taught Allen almost everything he knows. Kyudo: A friend of Randolf's who taught Allen the basics of hunting and perception. Life Story Childhood Allen was born to Irving and Aileen Watson in the year 258 AC in Ceardia. His brother and partner in crime, Oliver, was born 7 years later. The two spent most of their early childhood years with their parents, working the family bathhouse. At the age of 14 their mother had passed away. Their father took the news badly, and reacted worse. The boys then fled from their father to their Uncle Randolf on the coastline, about a year later in the wake of the destruction of Ceardia. Teenage Years Allen’s thirst for knowledge roots back to his early teens. Being aboard his whaler Uncle’s ship allowed Allen to learn the ways of the ocean and stars. The trio spent months on the water at a time, stopping at different places of interest to barter and explore. During their travels, Allen picked up some cooking skills, often cooking meals for the three. Three then turned to four when they recruited another shipmate, Kyudo an Altalar with a shady background. Kyudo taught Allen and Oliver the basics of hunting and the importance of awareness. While on the ship, Allen often thought back to the strange happenings in the months leading up to the destruction of their home. After the sight of the tendrils ripping out of the ground, Allen now suffers from occasional insomnia and paranoia. Wanting to not think about the horrors they had seen, Randolf agreed to take Oliver and Allen to Regalia for a fresh start. Mid life After years at sea, Allen and Oliver settled shortly in Regalia. Allen put his cooking skills to work, opening a small cafe on the main street offering various styles of sandwiches including the Calemberger. The cafe not being enough to pay all the bills, Allen and Oliver also often resorted to odd jobs. Conclusively, the two decided they couldn’t afford the city and ended up going their separate ways. Allen left again with Randolf and Kyudo, now with a clear and level head, wanting to further investigate the destruction of Ceardia. During this time Allen began researching sorcery, taking particular interest in Arcane sorcery. From his books and with a lot of practice, Allen managed to work out how to use the spells Quarrelsome Quill and Binral Blink. He focused on these two in particular, thinking they could be an asset in gathering information in more dangerous places. Oliver eventually rejoined the two after a period of five years. Current Years One day while caught in the middle of a storm at sea, Randolf hauled the ship onto the shores of Farah’deen. While recovering on shore, Allen and Oliver are kidnapped by an unknown group and separated from their Uncle. While in captivity the two are subjected to physical and psychological torture. After what they assume to be a few months, scarred and confused, Oliver manages to find a way out. The two then make their way back to Regalia after Oliver hijacks a boat. They settle now safely in Regalia, planning their next move on finding their Uncle.

@UrsaMajor two things to fix: David is 50 but born in 253. It is 308 AC right now, so I would up the date to 258 AC Add the Calemburger to the Watson's Cafe area. When you have made these edits, please tag me.
