Daendroque Conservation Society

The Daendroque Conservation Society is a conservative political club doubling as a library. Its services are divided into two parts: one for members, and one for the public. Membership is application-based, though library employees are automatically considered members as well.

The public collection aims to make Daendroque history and culture available to the residents of Regalia without them having to venture all the way to Daenshore. However, other donated books of political or historical significance and books of science from accredited institutions are also available.

The Society organizes frequent expeditions to Daen and other areas of interest in order to recover Daendroque literature that has been previously destroyed by conflicts. Therefore, this organization will collaborate closely with exploration and mercenary groups.

This organization does not conduct scientific research. Instead, this organization offers research funding for persons who are capable of writing theories about what ancient Daendroque texts said. This research is done by comparing historical accounts from different documents to try to figure out what is missing from incomplete books or illegible books.

Political Beliefs​

1. The racial superiority of Ailorkind.
2. The accuracy of Ailor faiths over non-Ailor faiths.
3. The freedom from oppression, freedom of religion, and freedom to love.

Cultural Expectations​

1. The duty to one's family and their business.
2. The duty of men to provide for their families, and the duty of women to maintain the household and raise an heir.
3. The duty to respect the eldest and strongest in the family.

Religious Attitudes​

This organization recognizes the role that the Old Gods faith had in the formation of early Daendroque and Ailor cultures, and therefore emphasizes the conservation of Old Gods religious texts for historical purposes.

• Director of Recovery (Vacant) - The Director of Recovery should be knowledgeable in exploration and be capable of leading small groups into potentially dangerous situations in order to retrieve lost documents.
• Director of Research (Vacant) - The Director of Research should be knowledgeable in history in order to study different recovered documents and construct theories based on the findings.
• Director of Translation (Vacant) - The Director of Translation should be knowledgeable in Elven and Daendroquin language at the minimum and should be proficient enough to translate recovered documents for research and publication.
• Director of Publication (Vacant) - The Director Publication should be proficient in reading and writing, and is in charge of working with the Chairman to write prefaces for all published works.
• We will hire an unlimited number of Researchers, Translators, and Publishers!
