The Crown Isle Gladiator Guild
The Gladiator Guild, is as the name implies. A loose band of collective gladiators both mundane and magical who will fight in an arena for the glory of victory, the promise of a coin reward and the fame that comes with great prowess. Joining the guild promises a steady avenue to competitive but friendly combat, income, and comradery through battle.
Upon earning a certain criteria of victories, gladiators will earn a prestige title which will be used to introduce themselves into the arena in front of a (hopefully) drunken crowd. These titles confer no bonus to society outside of being recognized as a true blooded champion. There will never be a grandmaster, only an event organizer which is currently Svend Hjelmskærer. Ranks go as followed:
- Raw Iron- All new fighters
- Pit Hound- Two victories in the Arena or one Tournament victory
- Warriors- Four victories in the arena or two tournament victories
- Bloody Steel– Six Victories in the arena or three tournament victories
- Arena Champion– Eight Victories in the arena or four tournament victories
- Grand Champion– The strongest ranking Champion in the ring, can be throned and dethroned by other Champions.
There will be many different kinds of events hosted, from: Tournaments, pit fights, championship duels, royal rumbles, wrestling, boxing, training sessions and many more.
How to join this organization of chaos and violence? It's simple, write a letter to Svend about placing your name on the list. No formal application, anyone can join. From the lowliest of peasants to the highest ranking knights can throw down in the arena. (DM myself on the forums or discord to be added).
