~Crafter's New MassiveCraft Video~
The Crafter's YouTube channel has come back to make yet another extravagant series on MassiveCraft! Ranging from roleplay, to exploration, to quests, and furthermore! After a great deal of consideration, we've all decided to come back once more, to raise more awareness for MassiveCraft! We believe MassiveCraft's community will get so much better if it spreads to wider ranges, which will only happen if we help raise awareness to bring more players on this server!
We will show the vast jungles of Daendroc, the bustling streets of Regalia. Not to mention the mighty kingdoms of Aloria. We want to thank @MonMarty for inspiration of the debut video. We hope you will help us in raising awareness for the server on your YouTube channels as well!

Regards from, TheDan7933 and Ironhippo

Enjoy the debut!

Lolno

Edit; I'm sure the grand total of 1 subscriber on your youtube channel was very thrilled with this video.

So...your plan was to get banned

And make a pathetic attempt to boycott a Minecraft server, and that will somehow make you feel better?

Wasn't made by me, made by another guy and this has been in my folder for months. I just decided to give a few clicks here and there.
Well it's on YOUR channel, and YOUR post in this section, I don't think there is much of a difference.
I'm supposed to care why?
You're not really supposed to care, but obviously you did care enough to come back and post the video to the entire community for the sake of being an ass.

Heard of being bored one day? It happens. Before anyone calls me out, I'm just looking at the thread to watch people like @Toxiclord rage.

Apparently you are the jurisdiction of my attitude and what it may actually be in real life. Teach me about my own feelings Master Butthurt lol

I mean, you can feel free to think I'm upset, I can't change that, but honestly what you're doing is pretty damn stupid and really makes you seem younger than you are. I get bored, but there are so many productive things I can actually do with my time when I'm upset rather than post a hate video about a Minecraft server I got banned from. Just leave the issue alone and it won't try to bite you again.
I mean, I came to this thread to see if anyone had some actual talent, and here I'm coming out disappointed. Unfortunately, you might have the same case as well (Person pending, they have independent feelings.)

Honestly, I'm glad some people are taking this for what it is, a joke, though I would understand the thread being locked, due to the videos small amount of vulgarities.

PS @Toxiclord and @suzzie2 , I would not recommend insulting him, showing anger, etc, as it would be feeding the troll.

Maybe it wouldn't be flame enducing if the community could take a joke...

If I couldn't take a ban, I would've uploaded this ages ago.
Actually the video was mocking Massivecraft, and saying it was "Bad for your lungs" which quite considerably might not be taken lightly. There is a time and place for everything, and it really doesn't help putting it in the manner that you did.

Well yea the thread is gonna be locked, I'm actually surprised it wasn't locked earlier.
But, that's normally how I post and type, I speak my opinions for matters at hand and for some reason many infer it as me being pissed off.

You yourself said you did it to see flame.
Maybe if you had some common sense and courtesy, we wouldn't be talking about the stupidity of your actions.

Supporting the joke and laughing is just as bad. You're feeding him just as much as we are.

Fun fact: I actually know this guy, I even know the reason he posted it, which is the reason he stated, so no, I actually am not feeding him. :P

EDIT: This is actually why he hasn't responded to me.

Still. It's not funny at all. That's no excuse, and honestly, you're saying an offensive video [What some of use interpret it to be] as 'funny'. You're just as bad.

Correction, I said the only reason I was checking it to see flame, because I expected as much from this community. Though I thought some people would see it as a joke.

You knew it was going to happen. That's no better then doing it with that intention.
What you did, is throw together a very crude, rude, youtube video. Not that it ever has the chance of getting past 10 views.

I'd be a bit more careful with you're previous word choice, especially when going against a skeptic. The video hasn't gotten ten views, you're right, it got ninety views. You see, while this video is rude, I don't exactly see the crudeness, unless you're pointing towards one of the final slides, in which I see your point, but you can't label a whole video for one slide. It'd be like labelling an entire group of people based upon one person's actions who is an affiliate of said group. Furthermore, I'd also like to point out a difference between a rude attitude and truth. I cannot help but to remind this community this video was made a little more than a year ago, and already the lore has been rewritten, premium price is predicted to increase in the near future, many more races have been added, and a majority of the community (yes, I actually polled this.) doesn't even recognise Cayorion as the sole owner of MassiveCraft, but instead MonMarty due to his overwhelming work on the server. Not to say his work hasn't benefitted the server, though I will say that he has been overwhelming the community with new rules and ideas that are destroying the old MassiveCraft I loved, associates and I now mock this server that is rapidly losing its image.

So, to summarise, this video mocked what we predicted to happen, and we could've been wrong, but it happened anyway. This video also shows another point, many (not all) bans have been unjust, or in the eye of the aggressor, without any privilege of proven innocence or guilt. When Dan7933 was banned, he supposedly used nodus, when in reality nodus was disabled and he used it to install optimise into his client without confusion. At that time, you had to install mods manually, and it was a pain sometimes. Anyway, also in the ban of OctoberGwen, it wouldn't have resulted if bad blood hadn't formed between Gwen and Tom1804, leading the staff to ban her in a bias perspective in assistance to Tom. In my ban, I gave actual criticism to the server on general chat while online, and was mocked by Tom1804, he responded to my criticism "Are you still talking" then proceeded to mock me. In retaliation to these acts, I insulted Tom as well, then immediately resulting in a ban. Also, in an act resulting in the ban of brandonfolio she was committing actions that even I seemed questionable, but after observing the staff of MassiveCraft and their actions, I see not only an unjust ban, but absolute hypocrisy even in the highest of ranks. Disappointing, I know.

So, this video takes all of the predictions and criticism that my comrades and I had conceived, and puts it all into a giant joke. While all the predictions came true, and the criticism most likely would've aided the server's growth if used correctly, we were forced out of the server we once loved, and now stuck in a void. Do you find that, fair? I mean, if you are to talk about being rude you clearly must see if MonMarty and I really see eye to eye, in which I can already say, we don't. If we saw eye to eye, and the staff didn't do these things I stated, maybe I wouldn't have put this online. Though, this provides no true justification for this video, it definitely proves a point, and if this post is responded to the way I think it is, I will provide another point it makes, very soon.

"Are you still talking?"
First off.
Are you kidding me? Are those just your reasons? Firstly, the ENTIRE VIDEO IS CRUDE. It literally mocks the server, which is offensive to most of us. Secondly, MonMarty has done many positive things for the server- Oh, what have you done? NOTHING. So don't even get me started. MassiveCraft isn't destroyed- It's doing perfectly well. We have 100+ players each day! It's image is growing, not vanishing!

Secondly.

I find it ludicrous that people always accused our hard working staff [Let me remind you they are volunteers] of such things. Of course, there can be mistakes, of course there can be instances where such things. But I'd /love/ to see you not do the same things with all the weight on /your/ shoulders. Has it ever occurred to you how overwhelming the role can be? And I don't exactly like how you are pointing fingers about. What gives you that right of calling them biased? There are not "many" unjust bans, that is an over statement. I think the /real/ problem is that people can't seem to accept things.

Thirdly
'The giant joke' can be taken as an insult. Although, the video itself is horridly done, and little to no effort was put in, so it seems you really didn't care. MonMarty can be a bit blunt [based on what I've seen], but I trust in his judgements. I find your situation fair, as you can't just get banned for nothing. You had to have done something, resulting in your expulsion from the server. I see your points, and I don't give a care in the world- We are talking about the video, not your opinions.
Bottom line is:
Let it go- You have no standing here what-so-ever. No use in complaining and pointing fingers.
I refuse to put anymore effort into this- You are not worth it, at all.
[Tagging @Thorodax as he was mentioned and I feel talking about people behind their backs in quite rude. Thorodax is, or well, once was Tom1804. He probably doesn't care, but it one of my moral things.]

Hello, allow me to say something.

I do not think it is wise to post a disrespectful video in response to you getting banned, because it is certainly not productive. What are you supposed to get out of this? What do you want to get out of this? because, it seems like you are only receiving negative attention. But perhaps you do not mind it. Perhaps you are so desperate for it that you do not care if it can hurt others. Perhaps you don't care that it may be a reflection of who you are as a person.

Alright. I will say that I can understand your agitation and negative feelings towards the server to a certain extent. You probably really liked MassiveCraft. Getting banned? Oh, that's bound to make you not feel so great. I feel as if it's a somewhat natural reaction to seek revenge on those you think have wronged you. I understand that. I feel that too. However, Massive was completely justified in banning you. Hacking is not a good thing. Okay, you cheated. Cheating is not a victimless crime. People can be hurt by that. Unfair advantages in-game is very unfair, hence the name. The staff do not care that you were advertising the server. They are unbiased, impartial. They have to be. If they weren't, Massive would not be as successful and fun as it is. I do think that advertising the server is helpful, but using hacked clients outweighs the good.

I'm really sorry that you made the ignorant choice of using hacked clients, thus getting you banned. But that does not justify your actions of making a hate video of Massivecraft.

I'm actually quite glad someone made a logical and calm response, I'm impressed. However, there are a few flaws in these specific sections. Firstly, I did not hack, you may be referring to the video that was created by a friend of mine, Dan7933. He actually did not hack, he disabled the nodus client because he wasn't using it for hacking, rather the easy optifine installation. So, I did not hack, and the person you are referring to did not hack. Though I must thank you for a calm and logical response @GoldenCoconuts .

1. I must ask, do you know what crude means. Crude means to be in an unrefined or raw taste. I don't see how that video is an unrefined raw taste.

2. Please, be wise about your statements. How about I numb down an an entire paragraph, I tried to give constructive criticism, then was insulted. There's something called mutual assured destruction, it means if one country attacks another, the other will almost definitely retaliate with more force. It works the same with humans, since humans run countries. If I am insulted I will do the same, I only did it once, then was permanently banned. So, I did give advice, and was mocked for it, where are we now? Hmmm?

3. You're correct! They're volunteers! If they're stressed, they can quit at any given time, no questions asked. Also, you're treating it like they're stressed from a job, it's a digital multiplayer database sending and receiving data to clients, calm down. You make it seem as if no one can go through as much stress, with things like school, work, programming, managing the lunatics I work with, etc. It's funny how flawed that outline is.

4. You're right there too, people cannot accept the fact that MassiveCraft is slowly falling apart, rage when it is being pointed out and solutions to fix it are given. I'd rather create a solution like I did, then to argue anyone who dare point out the obvious, it's like arguing with fanboys, they are ignorant, they throw everything they have at you, and when you win the fight they ignore you.

5. See what happens when you use your eyes and read carefully for once, fun isn't it?

6. Did you even bother reading or...

But you still did get banned for "inciting against the server and staff/constant flaming"
If the staff are the tiniest bit biased, I don't think they would have permanently banned you either way. You probably did /something/, I assume. I'm not entirely sure, though.

You are seriously wasting your time, and you're ending just like every other person who has done the same thing.
Claiming Massivecraft is falling apart just after they leave and trying to act like they are the innocent one.
It's not "Why did I do this" it's always "Why did THEY do this" to those people.
1.Unrefined. The video was horrible and you're just screwing with people in a unnecessary manner. It's got 90 views because the community is watching it. Doesn't quite mean they like or enjoy it, my videos have only 50 views and I would even say they are horrible, I'm surprised I still even own a youtube account.
2. Just because someone says something, doesn't mean you should say it back.
3. These are all real people and it's just like interacting with real life people.
They are people who have to support their own lives while you are beginning to start one, gaining knowledge so perhaps you can sustain yourself and provide a difference out in the given world. They volunteer, and the least you could do is actually think about both sides. Give them a break if it goes rough, they have a lot more stress than you think.
4. Win the fight? I still have yet for anyone to even provide enough reasoning that the server is going to "crash and burn" as they imply, and I've been inactive to the Massivecraft server for well over a month and a half, probably more, I just barely lurk the forums.
Oh, there were MANY other people like you, stating they were right, and that massive was falling apart, and etc; They were posted in 2013 and the server is still up and managing to run.
5. Again, you're acting like you've got complete knowledge here, I've seen other people like you on the internet, mind you I will not deny I've done it before as well.
Your claims aren't as well founded as you think. Introduce it and people are going to shoot it down mercilessly.
6. No response needed, it was an inference and that was your choice.

Send me a conversation, so we can both not keep going on and ruin both of our image's to another's eyes.
And because both of us refuse to go against what we said.

  • Funny thing is, I'm /perfectly/ calm.
  • You don't know what crude means. It can mean: "Offensively course or rude"
  • Your 'constructive' criticism must not have been helpful then.
  • Moderating Massive /is/ a job. It's a lot of work, and there's programming too. Do you have any idea of what kind of people the staff have to deal with too? Funny how flawed your point is.
  • MassiveCraft is not falling apart, period.
  • I read it perfectly clear the first time, and I can assure you, my reading level is quite high. So, maybe you should read again.
You're basically whining about bans. Just accept it, and move on. Nothing else left to say.

Why do I feel like that's what everyone says when they wear out, just saying. Yes, I do know how bad it is to manage a community, with the rules set upon us from society, I've been cursed to organize various groups, social circles, etc. The worst part however, they aren't online, which makes it more petrifying than you think.

My constructive criticism was to stop rebuilding Regalia every few months, work on spreading rp to all continents rather than to make Regalia the only place meant for RP, and to allow player input on having players banned, especially well known players.

Since you claim to have read it quite clearly, I'll numb it down, once again. I was banned after standing up for myself against Tom1804. Ever heard those stories where the kid is getting bullied, the kid fights back and gets in trouble, while the bully gets off Scott free, this is one of those stories.

You're right, MassiveCraft isn't falling apart, it's just being inhabited by horrible role players while the good classic players are either leaving or becoming inactive due to the lack of interest the new community is bringing, so, yeah seems fine to me. Seems to me so.
