A series of notices are nailed to post boards all across the city. They're written in great big letters and use exceedingly simple language, with a few notes translated into different tongues for particular districts.

They amount to the following:​

Do you know about THE ARTICLES OF PROTECTION?

They could have been freedoms granted to you by the Emperor!

The nobility have to give up their power to YOU, and the EMPEROR for this to happen.

THE NOBLE ASSEMBLY votes for articles that benefits themselves instead of the Commonwealth!

These choices have ended in FAMINE, BLOODSHED, AND HARDER LIVES FOR THE COMMON FOLK.

SOME OF THEM VOTED AGAINST THE ARTICLES OF PROTECTION EVER BEING MADE!

THE EMPEROR ABOLISHED THE ASSEMBLY. THE CROWN DOESN'T NEED IT, NEITHER DO YOU.​

"Most Honorable Sera Risberg,

To prevent any kind of misleading information to reach the ears of the most honorable citizens of our Empire, I would like to remind you and other fair readers that the Nobility, as created from before the times of the Five Families, exist to serve the Regalian Nation, the Imperial Throne, and the citizenship as a whole. The Nobility of our Empire is therefore a central piece to its high standard amongst all other nations of Aloria, as it keeps the wheels of progress moving and sets us apart from the least civilized people of the world. I would therefore advise you and other common folk to not worry with such, as this Assembly will purely serve as an advisory body to the Crown and its institutions. It is a dangerous claim to say we serve the Emperor and you the Empire.

Nevertheless, I do recognize your and other people's concerns in this growing noble influence. It is therefore that I, as a senior figure in the Imperial Military, would like to reassure you that the Military is a supranational institution of this Empire, controlled directly by the Emperor, and is ready to defend it and its people if the need arises. I can further guarantee that just as my familiar the former Imperial Court Marshal Howlester did with the Typhonus coup, in 305 AC, the Imperial Military is present to put an end to any kind of popular insurrection. The Army exists to safeguard the Emperor's word, as it is our universal truth and Law.

I advise once more to our honorable citizens to not heed these words, as creating a sense of revolt within our Empire is High Treason, and cannot be justified in any way.​

To the Sera Merowald Risberg,

Allow me to ease some of your concerns, since I believe while this poster at first seems rather alarmist, it comes from a good place.

To explain why this Assembly is not the threat you believe it to be, I shall argue from a place where I will assume your central argument to be true: that the Count Lamont Norinn wants this symbolic body to regain its power. Since you cite the Articles of Protection, allow me to roughly quote what His Imperial Holiness said at the time. "Power is never taken from the Emperor, only given." Even if the Imperial Seat decided to restore this institution of governance, it would still only exist so long as the Emperor wished it so. Any attempt for it to seize this power otherwise would be met with heavy opposition from within and outside of the chamber, and those involved would quickly be arrested for treason.

Furthermore, recent iterations of the Assembly did not give the nobility the power to make laws. Instead, the peerage could recommend a course of action to the Emperor based on the proposals made by a commoner. This form of Noble Assembly, contrary to your point, actually empowered commoners by allowing them to voice their concerns and ensure it reached the ears of the Emperor, something that I cannot recall happening outside of recent times.

As someone who voted for the Articles of Protection, served briefly as Minister of the Whip/Conduct, and now sits on the Committee on Rules, Procedures, and Budgeting of the Assembly you eye with caution, rest assured that I will work to keep everyone behaving properly and will report any criminal activity to the Metropolitan, of which I am also a member.

This Merowald Risberg dares to go against the sacred order of our Glorious Empire! Such cannot be tolerated. It is and always has been our right as Nobles of the Empire to serve the Emperor, and for the common folk to assist us in this endeavour by serving us, Noble Men and Women.

To refuse to recognise the right of the Nobility to rule, and to encourage confrontation and open rebellion is treason of the highest order!

It is clear Merowald Risberg acts only for their cronies in the Bloodcast Order! Not for the common people of this Empire!

It is good and right to serve the Nobility of this Empire, to fail to do so is a waste of one's life.

We are all servants of the Emperor.

House Montdall officially accuses Merowald Risberg of treason and calls for their immediate arrest and expulsion from the Bloodcast Order. A disgrace that stains the reputation of these Knights!

By code of the Bloodcast Order, Sera Risberg is only doing as the Crown demands of her. To say that this Order is filled with cronies is to insult the institution which was founded by the very Empire we all seek to defend.

Sera Risberg does not speak against the nobility, she speaks against one particular noble that is not using their power to benefit the people as much as they should. If you are threatened by this, perhaps that means you should take a good look at yourself and see why.

A certain Hitchington-Burr had hired a small team of laborers to sweep the streets for this poster, before returning them to a central workshop in which the parchments were washed and re-written as advertisements for the upcoming Longbarrel Rifle releasing next year. How peculiar.
