I had an idea for adding a "Trivia" section to the bottom of my character apps, similar to how pages on the wiki have a Trivia section for fun facts & miscellaneous mini-info. But then I realized I wanted to read other people's fun facts as well! And maybe, other people would like to share theirs as well?

In this thread, give us some trivia / fun facts / tidbits about your characters that don't fit into the normal character application format!
Do they have any strange phobias? Collections? Embarassing stories? Weird obsessions?

Nadina Haaven
  • Nadina is a compulsive hoarder! The shelves of her estate are overflowing with books, exotic trinkets, and alchemical "specimens" such as blood vials, skulls, and dried herbs that she refuses to throw away.
  • Nadina cannot multiply or divide; she confuses it with addition and subtraction, which she is already terrible at. Her husband does all of the taxes, and she measures most alchemy through muscle-memory.
  • Nadina has killed one (played) character in her lifetime: a Vampire in the sewers who begged her to be killed with her spear. The memory haunts her, and she now refuses to hurt anyone if they ask or beg for it.
  • Nadina owns a Seraph-era idol of Estel. The relic was given to her by a friend who obtained it from a Sendrassian temple (player quest) back during her cult days. She no longer praises Estel, but still occasionally prays to it, believing it holds some ancient power.
  • Nadina loves to sing, but she is pretty terrible at it. As a compromise, she hums old Elven tunes while performing mundane work or while walking. Her humming is only slightly off-key, thankfully.
  • Nadina would be diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder and PTSD. Her PTSD developed in response to her time in a cult, and the subsequent burnings that she endured and witnessed from the gang wars.
*They were smashed with a bark giant from old Evergrowth magic, this is the compliant re-imagining.
Kamirah Naawi
  • Kamirah is a kleptomaniac, and has an extreme obsession with the colour gold. Never does a gold item get past her without being bought, stolen, or at the very least, stared longingly at. This creates a very interesting dynamic with golden-eyed Void Silven...
  • Kamirah despises magic. As a result of childhood teachings of the Altalar and their enslavement of her race before the Cataclysm, she outright refuses to battle against a mage unless her life depends on it. Secretly, she is quite scared of the Void and Exist.
  • Kamirah consistently dyes the "fringe" of her mane in vibrant colors, and vowed to never let it return to plain black when she turned 15. Her current favourite shade is magenta, but it has previously been yellow, blue, and purple.
  • Kamirah refuses to wear shoes or sandals. Aside from them being hard to obtain in Regalia, she could never afford them as a child--and has thus drawn attached to the feeling of the bare earth on her paws.
  • Kamirah walks 3 hours every day to get to Regalia. Her family lives south of the Regalian City in the slums of a harbor town, close to Silverwind.
  • Kamirah is deathly afraid of being picked up / grabbed. After an attempted kidnapping experienced when she was a child, a grab from behind causes the Sarran to go into an immediate fight-or-flight instinct. Friends learn quickly not to do this.

Igna can use a sword - prior to losing weight from experimental drug-usage as to solve her belief of sterility the woman was a mercenary; and a decent one at that. She still is capable of wielding blades and a handful of other weaponry, but doesn't hold a healthy body suitable enough to do so just yet. Her favored method was/is two-handed.

Igna likes older men - what can I say she likes herself a dilf.

Igna has slaughtered five people - of course due to her previous occupation she had to do some dirty work; two men, three woman - one being only thirteen. She regrets none of them, only the child. In her mind the concept of death is tricky, and life gives everyone a role to abide by, and feeling constant guilt from it is a big no-no. They were all done for payment before she found herself faithful to the Unionist Church.

Igna is extremely religious - the woman is SUPER religious, and can be frequently found praying to the spirits or giving to charity with what little money she can spare from her job. She's pretty nice, hey.

Igna has a habit of playing Anglian-Scuffle and gambling - she loves money, and loves games. Both can provide either/or - and if lucky, both. She found herself getting back into the habit once meeting Tuija V. Who in her mind is some giant fun woman that isn't a dull and big-ego harlot like majority of servants.

She has literally one person to consider a friend - Gene Howlester. And they barely speak nor chat frequently; she only favors her due to the woman's energetic and welcoming behavior.

Igna was previously married, only once - before arriving to Regalia due to the crisis in her homeland, she was married to Aldert Janson - in secrecy before it quickly ended due to the domestic violence and the burdened illness her lover had suffered until he peacefully passed in sleep. She took none of his dowry and left it with his family before her departure.

Igna is not fully sterile, but believes so - The woman holds a common belief that she is incapable of producing offspring, and hence strays from trying to involve herself in courtship with another man after the likes of Shane Marth; that and due to other reasons. But that doesn't mean she won't try to invite a handful of them to dinner to feel the thrill and warmth of such to cut herself from the reality of her loneliness.

Igna is terrified of thunder - Due to a minor occurance in Anglia she is frightful of thunder due to her families farmhouse being set aflame from a horrid storm once. It's caused her to become uneasy within any terrivle storms - artificial thunder would not impact her negatively as a storm would.

Khalid Nazari
  • He's seen multiple renditions of his Character; first as the Construct Mage Silven, then the Void Mage Silven, and now finally the Guile Vampire. He's unlikely to see any more.
  • Despite his bisexuality, Khalid's preference is actually Women.
  • Khalid's only regret regarding his Vampiric lifestyle is his inability to cast Magic of any kind. To this end, Khalid hoards Arcane artefacts and hangs out with Mages and Silven to make up for this disability.
  • Over 130 Years of living, Khalid was most repulsed witnessing the suicide of an Arken. The sheer lack of compulsion to survive present severely damaged his faith in the Arken - from 'Gods to be feared' to 'Tools to be tested.'

Manus Bhacstair
  • Manus is extremely lenient - The man is a lot more lax than he should be. When I made him, I intended him to be a more chilled and laid back kind of guy, so as a guard, he's been known to give people warnings and seconds chances rather than out-right arresting them on the spot.
  • Manus wishes relations between the public and guard were good - It makes Manus' job easier if people are on his side, so naturally he's found it in his best interests to try and act as a counter balance to what he believes is the usual, more brutal side of guard work. This of course ties in with the first bullet point.
  • Manus finds idle guard work extremely boring - Being a boisterous Highland Wrestler, Manus doesn't really enjoy standing about doing nothing. He secretly wants stuff to 'go down' so he can get involved and actually try do something useful.
  • Manus is praying when he wrestles - An exceptionally cool part of Northern culture. Manus finds it really odd that people in Regalia sit about on benches when they pray. Where he's from, there are no churches, and you worship by wrestling; praising the Imperial Spirit through physical prowess.
  • Manus too loves to sing, and he too is rather bad at it - Manus doesn't really know he's bad at singing, and some people may enjoy the sound of a deep, raspy northern voice singing, but to most, he probably doesn't sound too good.
  • Manus is stupidly brave and reckless - Part of the way I play Manus is to have him be super out-going and in the fray, even if it puts him in danger. He likes to be at the front, especially given his weapon choice (Blunt - Area of Denial - Flail). I had him jump on the back of a Varghul and attempt to wrestle it into submission. His reasoning was "if it works on a bear, it'll work on a bat".
My favourite fact is the one about wrestling to pray :D

Leopold Diggory Rote
  • Leopold believes that any minor sin is deserving of repentment, so he is prone to self-flaggelate, even for the tiniest missteps. He will slap his own wrist or cheek if he curses.
  • He dislikes wallowing in wealth, and donates most of his own earnings to the poor. He only keeps enough money to live a comfortable and healthy life. His only luxury-item is an eye of Union necklace gifted to him by a dear fallen comrade.
  • Despite hating abberants with a passion, he doesn't have much of a problem with Hallowbloods. He is also more accepting of healing-based exist mages due to a suprisingly good encounter with a celestial mage in the past.
  • Leopold would likely be diagnosed with Sociopathy in todays society, due to his lack of empathy towards the sufferig of Kathar. He finds sadistic joy in killing them, in fact. Suprisingly enough, he does feel pity and sympathy towards the suffering of those he deem "pure", and is therefor often found donating to the poor, or working in soup kitchens.
  • Leopold is low-key insecure about his body compared to his older Brother Abe's. He continues a rigorous workout regime, but is incapable of reaching the frame of Abe due to his high metabolism. He often feels weak near Abelhard, whilst in contract, he feels strong close to his younger brother Hanz.

Ania Howlester
  • Ania is Lenora Santorski's younger sister, the woman who sided with Freya Lo (when she was living) to attack fellow nobility only to be permanently sent away as a Silent Sister as punishment. You can probably imagine the status of the familial relation.
  • Ania is craven for power. She has a need to dominate most people, and feels her strongest when she achieves such.
  • Ania's favorite kind of food is cooked meat with other hearty, filling sides.
  • Ania's most hated Nelfin race is the Isldar race.
  • Ania dislikes amphibians. Whether they be common frogs or toads, or the Es-Allar, the presence of amphibians makes her considerably uncomfortable.
  • Ania was incapable of reading and writing Common effectively for a while when she arrived to Regalia. William Howlester was the one who helped teach her how to become more acquainted with either skill.
Katriane Howlester
  • Katriane's favorite food is cinnamon buns.
  • Katriane has an adoration for kaffee above all else. Though she has no qualms with tea, kaffee is her sweet spot. She mostly took after her uncle Percival in this aspect after watching him down the substance frequently in her childhood years.
  • Katriane's maiden name was considerably different than what her name is now. Prior to her marriage, she was known as Kaja of House Santorski.
  • Katriane often tried to resemble her mother in terms of strength and skill when she was younger. However, her ratio of success was slim to none which inevitably gave her some confidence issues.
  • Despite being a mix of Velheim and Leutz-Vixe, Katriane's wholesome amount of time in Galloy, years spent in a female-only Dearth and then marrying into the Howlester family, has granted her a noticeable Highlander accent. Though it remains softer around the presence of many people, when she is around other Highland-favoring Howlesters or Highlanders in general, it shows itself with audible passion.
  • Katriane is afraid of the dark. She does her best to hide it well, especially in front of her sons, but when alone she tries to keep a candle close by.
  • Because she grew up without her father, Katriane looks to her uncles Percival and Erwald as her fatherly figures. She is almost reliant on them to a degree. What many see as a needy or childish relationship between Katriane and either of her uncles stems from her loneliness in childhood and her desperation to fill the gap that her father's death left behind.

Ernesta von Rahm
  • Explosive Anger- The small Leutz noblewoman is often very good at holding her tongue, but if someone presses her purposefully to try and get a reaction. They will most likely get one, with an explosive of pent up anger.
  • Half-Deaf- Suprisingly Ernesta is actually completely deaf in her left ear, from an accident at the Bladesong Academny when she was younger. This in turn causes her to feel dizzy and off balance in crowded areas, often plagueing her with migraines.
  • OCD- Ernesta follows a strict training routine on a daily notion, going for a morning run as the sun rises and keeping her blade skills "sharp". The second her routine is faltered and interrupted she grows shaky hands and extreme paranoia never able to settle.
  • Devout Unionist- Every morning and evening Ernesta prays and practices Unionism as expected from a Graduate of Bladesong.
  • Aspiring Soprano- Ever since the noblewoman was a child, she has loved singing. Ever since she was taken to an Opera by her parents, she has aspired to become a well known opera singer. Though her singing passions have recently been clouded to due her getting involved in serving the war front and guard work.
  • Scarred Torso and PTSD- during a scuffle with the kathar hordes in the war, Ernesta fell off the Imperial dragon and was destined to fall to her death. But was saved by the Imperial dragon himself, albeit in a panic, the talons severed her torso in deep lacerations permanently scarring her torso and chest. From this she has developed post traumatic stress disorder from the inflict of war upon her persons, often waking up with terrible night terrors from that day. With the occasional phantom pains, of aching along her scars.

Azzidi Sa-Yaotl

Azzidi is currently homeless: He burnt down his last house months ago when he misplaced a candle. He doesn't fully remember the incident as he was stepping into the later stages of mind-rot, but he has been sleeping on the streets ever since. He doesn't tell people because he wants to prove that he can take care of himself.

Azzidi has always wanted feathers: He's always thought that feathers are some of the coolest things ever, so he feels great when he puts on the lightly feathered Jogro armor.

Azzidi tends to take things very literally: Common being a second language doesn't help, but he's always misinterpreted figures of speech and proverbs. Because of this, he often struggles with humor. To combat this, he keeps a small booklet filled with jokes that he can tell, with in-depth explanations so that he understands his own joke. It's mostly puns and they're all terrible.

Azzidi was taught to read by his sister: In her eyes, if a child could learn how to read and write, Azzidi could too. It took considerable time, but Azzidi finds that his thoughts are clearer when they're put down on paper. He has also picked up poetry. He's bad at it, but he enjoys it all the same.

Azzidi left Hadar because he got into a fight with his scale-bond sister: He reorganized her entire alchemical room by order of "What taztez bezt" and was swiftly ejected from her home. They write to each other now, but he'll never get over the fear of simultaneously being turned black, burned with cold, and being chased by a furious Al-Allar while screaming loudly enough to break adjacent windows. Most of those didn't even taste good.

Gently cracks knuckles.

Seraphina von der Ebene:
  • Sera is terrified of drowning and by extent afraid of large bodies of water. Despite being a pretty okay swimmer, the Avanthar is not particularly fond of the pastime at all. Rather she much prefers to observe the waters from afar and certainly frets while on boats, suffering terribly from seasickness as she's more of a land person.
  • Sera's Imperalized last name means 'of the plains'. Even though she has essentially abandoned all connection to her birth family, Sera internally still holds some pride of being a plains elf.
  • Sera, more often than not, wears long sleeves in public places, even in the summer. Mostly do to the fact that she is extremely self conscious of her scars and hates being stared at or have questions be asked. Only those she holds close to her heart have seen the scars and ever still only two or three people in her circles know the origins of most if not some of them.
  • Sera loves flowers. Mostly due to the fact that her now deceased maternal grandmother was an alchemist of sorts, Sera shows her intent with a person by giving them particular flower arrangements. However, she absolutely loathes roses, often sighting that they aren't as pretty as many believe.
Darcie Vauclain
  • Darcie hates dancing. Despite being quite quick footed, the Vauclain despises dancing as at a young age she was often passed over by possible beaus for her sister. Even still to this day, she often is seen hanging about the edge of the ballroom, only being convinced to dance after she's had a few glasses of wine.
  • Darcie wears four inch heels. Coming in at 5'8", Darcie has always wanted to be taller. Sighting that tall people were often more intimidating and frankly a tad more attractive to her, she, at a young age, began to wear heeled boots.
  • Darcie, despite her family's views, is actually quite proud of her bisexuality. Having dabbled quite a bit in many circles of life in her thirty-five, almost thirty-six years on the planet, she has found that there are pleasures in having a liking for both men and women. Though obviously being quite happy and content in her marriage to her husband, Darcie does have her moments of questioning and wonders what could have been.
  • Darcie actually loves cognac more than wine. Even though one of her family's main source of income is the production and selling of wine, she much prefers cognac to wine. Though frankly, she's just an alcoholic.

"Fun facts" sections have always been such a fun way to add a little flair to apps. I'll totally do this later today!

Frejnir Viduggla
  • Dislike of Ithanians: If it wasn't obvious enough, Frejnir hates Ithanians with a burning passion, and generally expresses it too. He has only truly ever gotten along with one Ithanian, his cousin in law, who is only half.
  • Still sleeps with a teddy bear: Yep, his name is Olaf and he has no plans on getting rid of it, even though he's married.
  • Deathly Afraid of spiders: A fate worse than death, in his eyes, is dealing with spiders. He refuses to get anywhere near the eight-legged creatures, and often calls upon someone else to deal with them.
  • Secretly Likes Cooking: Usually when no one is home, Frejnir will prepare himself some sort of exquisite meal, and has a recipe book hidden in his room.
  • One of his first words was a curse word: Unsurprisingly, he started swearing from an early age, as he was raised by two, rather vulgar parents.

Agnes von Bruhl
  • Agnes has an odd obsession with reptiles, arachnids and amphibians. She owns three tarantulas of her own, a habitat for her hissing roaches, and her eldest pet a five year old chameleon. She finds that there is beauty even in the smallest forms of animals, even those most people fear the most can sometimes turn out to be something more than what they appear to be.
  • Struggles to keep herself still and focused for long periods of time. As a dancer she prefers to move around as much as possible, rather than sitting down and being bombarded by sculpting clay, fabrics and assortments of paints. Struggling to keep herself still has led to her numerous accounts of running away, fidgeting with her hands and even keeping her mouth quiet during meetings.
  • Has to big of a heart at times. She struggles to keep herself from helping those in need, including those who are deemed by law to be the outcasted and unwanted, which often leads to her getting in the way of guards business, believing that everyone should be issued a second chance even if they have a past of crime.
  • Growing up with no mother made her slightly antisocial, as she found comfort in the forest rather than by her family. Despite being comforted during her growing years by her sister, father, uncle and grandfather, Agnes felt always disconnected and lost from the land resulting in her need to be close to nature or surrounded by her animals who she can be seen walking with or carried within her garments.
  • Despite knowing a wide range of swear words she has only ever used them once or twice in her lifetime. Agnes can be frustrated quite easily and she has to know better than to use swears to win an argument, she believes one should only use them if you really can't think of a better word to say at the time being.
  • Often pushes herself to far during training and performances. Dance is her passion and ever since she started lessons at the age of four she has always worked overtime to ensure she can perfect every move, pose and position, leading to her numerous pulled muscles, blistered toes and very slim frame as a result of her constantly working herself out. She doesn't miss the opportunity to get at least six to five hours of training a day often skipping breakfast and lunch to add more training time for herself.
  • Enjoy's to get her hands dirty in the name of science. As her Entomology background revolves around the study of insects Agnes would never be shy to enter swamp lands, caves, animal burrows, dense forests and even the unpopular option having to search through the Carcasses of rotting animals, to find some of the carnivorous insects that exist.

SĆladis Hei'lezullo - VĆlsi'ali
  • Siladis has a collection of plants - It's an extreme problem as her entire house, indoors and outdoors, are covered in house plants and even harvestable plants that she grows for herself. She keeps her favorite in her bedroom, which no one in the family may touch.
  • Siladis has poor eyesight - She can see far but she needs spectacles to read what's in front of her. She usually wears them at all times, but lets the spectacles hang on the bottom of her nose so she can look over to see far ahead of her.
  • She despises to be picked up - Bridal style, over the shoulder, clutch purse, no matter what she hates to be carried in any fashion. No one exactly knows why, since she never told a soul, but it's possibly 'cause she hates being in someone's care.
  • Siladis has no hip flexors and is double jointed! Really, she doesn't. She can twist and contort her legs and ankles every which way. It's a bit disturbing when she can swiftly and gingerly stick her legs behind her head and twist her feet backwards, so she doesn't share it often.
  • She has an urn in her house - This wouldn't be all that unnatural, if she didn't speak to it and regularly bring it offerings of her home-grown flowers. No one in the family ever mentions this, and it is probably for the best.
  • Spent nearly 2 years in solitude - Due to Saivale being a magic oriented population, some found it hard to deal with Siladis' asthma, so to keep her from her triggers her family decided to keep her in a room where it was free of outdoor allergens and the home kept free of other allergens. As a child in her home, she was told to simply not leave the house anymore. This doesn't mean she was perpetually bored, she had more than enough chores and studies to do, and toys to play with.

Leufred
  • Mother named him Telford, but the name Leufred caught on after caretakers called him it instead.
  • Isn't ashamed of his Ithanian half, and pities Ithanians who don't support God-Savior-Chad-Sovereign de Gosselin.
  • He's allergic to cats and goats. Not Varran, though. Hates both of these animals.
  • Really likes high places. He's used to residing in tall church towers, so tall buildings and trees are in right up his alley. Especially if they have stairs to kick people down. @CRASHIR
  • After a particularly bad case of the void plague, Leufred cannot stand fullblooded Kathar with only one exception. He also can't agree with any of their defenders.
  • Favorite weather is rain.
  • Favorite season is winter.
  • Favorite month is January.
  • Born on April 1st, Spring, even though Spring is the time when babies are ideally concieved in faith.
  • Closeted romance novel fan.
  • Dislikes most Witchbloods, deeming a large portion of his "kin" as raving lunatics. Only those he believes faithful, like Victor and especially Elsin, are tolerated in the end. And Wilfre.
  • He has an accent, I'm just not gonna figure out a Luxembourgish accent anytime soon.
Doing this on mobile made my thumbs hurt.

Ascal LiezĆ¼llo

Cat Allergy - Exactly what you'd imagine. Close contact or proximity to house cats will cause an itchy throat, watery eyes, and runny nose for this Kathar.

Obsessive Concern of Poisoning - There's an extensive explanation for this discussed in his application, but Ascal finds it very difficult to find the trust to consume anything from anyone aside from certain people and establishments. The Feir et Calme and Aesling's Hive fall into this list!

Insomnia - Ascal very nearly nightly needs medication in order to fall asleep without spending hours trying. Occassionally, he may awaken having suffered a night terror. Recently due to the closing of the Medical Union, hes been left unmedicated.

Need of Stimulation - Ascal has finds it difficult to sit still for too long without some task to focus on. For extended times of boredom, the Kathar may begin to fidget, hum, etc without realizing. He finds that he needs to keep his mind stimulated, else he'll become irritable. Ascal has devised methods himself to alleviate this near constant craving.

Math Wiz - Partially a result of the previous piece of trivia, Ascal has become very well practiced in mathematics. At home alone, Ascal will practice and answer an array of mathematical problems and equations he thinks up himself. He enjoys this little bit of "me" time.

Hengest Harhold

  • Hengest's illiteracy stems from untreated childhood dyslexia. After he showed signs of significantly lagging behind his older and younger siblings in his reading lessons his parents simply scolded him for being lazy. Hengest, being understandably hurt by this, forced himself through studying a new page of the dictionary every day to increase his vocabulary, to at the very least give off the impression of being literate.
  • No one besides himself and his siblings know the truth behind his missing eye. Whenever the origin is in question a new lie is made up.
  • He REALLY likes dogs. like, dont even question it. even his kids suspect he loves his dogs more than them.
  • Hengest gets most of his news from a freelance herald on the streets of Vlissinghelm's capital that he brought into his court when he was crowned the new Grand Duke. This man is thought to be one of the most powerful men in South Anglia and Dragenthal for his influence on the Grand Duke's actions.
  • He is an avid collector. He collects trophies from war. Souvenirs from places he visits. Is known to steal silverware from noble estates as part of his collection. One of his most prized possessions is his private, luxurious airship which he takes on joy rides with friends whenever he can.
  • Despite his infamous violence and tyranny, Hengest is actually an alright guy once you get to know him personally :)
  • Hengest is obsessed with reputation and keeping his paranoia content. Contrary to popular belief he is very much against gratuitous violence and sadism, and explains away most of his actions by them being necessary. Necessary for keeping up appearances, a terrible justification to be sure but it helps him sleep at night.

Eyanaeil Faenin
  • Eyanaeil was the cause of his younger brother's death during their mercenary training. This is one of the incredibly few things which haunts him and not a single soul knows about it as he's sworn to take this secret to his grave.
  • Eynaeil once sported Void scripture along his body but after separating from "proper" Kathar society had it covered up with other Daen and Kaitis style tattoos in deep red ink.
  • Merely a personal achievement, Eyanaeil was a somewhat renown pit fighter amongst the rogues of Daenshore. He still frequently returns to uphold such reputation and keep certain shady business afloat.
  • All of his weapons sport bone hilts. The reason for this is widely unknown, most simply assuming it is a Kathar thing but in reality, it is due to bone being lighter and him enjoying a personal touch to his blades. It also makes them easier to track down should they ever be stolen.
Kailu Frisque
  • Despite his seemingly childish and inexperienced nature, Kailu is actually quite clever. He would even make a good leader should someone ever nudge him in the right direction.
  • After a single drunken night in Ithania which Kailu does not recall, the young Bakrran has sworn off any alcohol, claiming he doesn't like the feeling it gives him but in reality, it scares him.
  • Kailu sees his Silvenism as a gift, not the curse society makes it out to be. His golden eyes are the most prized possession of his collection and he sees his unique abilities as a gift granted to him for pleasing his indirect Trickster parent.
  • Recently, Kailu has been experimenting and trying to learn how to use his Light Materna muter ability in order to find more about his Varran ancestry and their history, though he has trouble remaining focused and the images just blur together.

Saen!
  • First off Saen has like zero family and has watched most of and actually almost all of his family die before his eyes. This causes him to be very fearful of committing himself to someone because he just knows he isn't going to be able to save them. It also causes for a good bit of trauma and hallucinations.
  • Saen is an addict of alcohol and drugs to deal with all the shit that has happened to him. He also is very easily attached to more powerful people. If you put him in his place more then likely he'll stick with you. Ruth is a perfect example of this. @Patsie
  • Saen has killed people before. His sister drove him along a very dark path in his life before this and given his attachment towards people he never dared go against her.
  • Saen more then anything seeks control in his life but is stupid at trying to achieve it. Above all he talks shit on people to feel in control of himself but can never back it up.
  • Saen really likes Noodles..Like..really likes them.
  • Saen has an odd obsession with Slizzar. I blame @NoRezForYou

Dhorn Borbek
  • Dhorn has a pet snake named Lada, she's a good girl and keeps the mice from his plants. Her colors are red, orange, and a hint of gold in her scales.
  • Dhorn has an extensive collection of plants he's grown himself in his home in Old Town. Having studied herbalism, he has a fondness for plants and takes good care of them so they may help him in the field to help people. He's most proud of how big his aloe vera has gotten.
  • Dhorn has existed for about 4 years off and on the server, therefore he's been aged up 4 years.
  • Dhorn has killed one player character in his lifetime, though it was more of a monster than anything. A feral Maiar in the sewers that were attacking small friends of his. He had dragged it out of the water and beat it to a bloody pulp, he still has a very long sharp tooth from it that he took and turned into a dagger.
  • Dhorn can sing a nice bass hum, but he's a little shy about it.
  • Dhorn, being a gay Orc, has a slight preference for someone that can beat him in a fight or at least have a dominant personality.
  • Also, he's gay. Those that know him well already know this and those that just know of him likely don't. He's also into older men.
  • Dhorn only has one pair of proper boots his size, all the rest of his shoes are sandals.
  • Despite Orcish culture having a lot of body language, much that Dhorn displays often, he can't really dance well. He can do a very basic waltz to some slow music but nothing very impressive.

Azra min Eazim !
  • Azra has never killed anyone, officially. Despite her big record as an all out criminal that does not good, the Qadir has never actually taken the life of someone that's been around m. Honestly, brutal murders with no reason startle her and freak her out, so she's not all that cold blooded.
  • Azra adores attention. If she can get the spotlight and some of someone's constant attention, she'll stick close to them and defend them well. Once they start insulting her though or ignoring her, she's quick to drop them, unless she really considers them near and dear. Nevertheless, those she keeps close get a rather affectionate manner from her- though only platonic love.
  • She has only had one lover in her entire life, which makes sense with her rather unromantic mannerism. That one lover is now her husband though, so it's fair to say that she's at least rather faithful.
  • She has an extraordinarily thick accent, though it isn't exactly a pure Qadir one after the majority of her life speaking Sofaal instead of Faraddi.
  • Azra use to be petrified of men after being owned for years by some rather vicious ones, until, funnily enough, she met Nace Drummond and the Dead Men. After being accepted into their crew, she felt empowered by being surrounded by men and tends to sway to their presence rather than that of women's.
  • Nevertheless, she loves noble women, some of the few she can stand. She loves their frill and fashion, not to mention her moral is boosted by their attention since she generally feels like dirt around them.
  • She was born on April 1st (making her Leufred's birthday twin, though five years younger!!) Nevertheless, she doesn't remember her own birthday and assumes it's somewhere in Summer.
  • She knows how to be quiet, and always has known, after years of being a shadow in a Songaskian household. She takes advantage of her chance to be talkative and she thinks that the more she's loud, the less they'll expect her when she's quiet.
  • Azra had originally planned to run away from her owners with a year younger friend of hers when she was fifteen. The two had planned to learn how to sand sail and would be partners to survive, eventually even marrying if they needed to- though these plans never worked out as they were caught and both viciously whipped.
  • Azra has a Dragonflower tattooed to the back of one of her shoulders. This was placed there to cover a brand on her shoulder from her years as a slave, the Dragonflower being the favorite flower of Azra's mother.
  • Azra originally had taken the surname "Gul" when she came to Regalia, which was the name of her twin sister. She quickly dropped it though after noticing that she had lost faith in her family still being alive and no longer wanted any part of them.
  • Contrary to her belief, her mother is still very much alive and free from slavery. Her father on the other hand passed not long after Azra was separated from him due to the injury he had received in their capture. Her mother, though, has moved into a Faraddi city and has no desire to find her children as she believes both are dead- certain that at least one is.
  • Azra gets mad really easily, a lot may notice. Despite this, instead of some underlying mental issue really being the problem, Azra just has a lot of pent up anger and general issues from being treated poorly throughout her childhood. Also, she's noticed that the majority of the time people don't acknowledge her is when she wants to help, and this drives her to a quick breaking point since she wants to redeem herself.
Winifred von Rahm !
  • Winifred von Rahm, let alone Winifred, was not her birth name. She was named Winnie Isla Marth at her birth.
  • Speaking of, Winifred was not born to Hamelin von Rahm and his wife, but instead a family friend named Merina Taliesin and her husband of the time, Shane Marth.
  • She wants very badly to become a city renown medic, but fears getting more attention or publicity than her mentor, Jocelyn von Duerr. She knows a kin of hers, Ida, attempted similar and doesn't want to chance hurting her friend, Doctor von Duerr.
  • Winifred hates heretics and vampires, openly sharing that she would happily condemn them to death if they didn't convert or cure.
  • She has only threatened to kill one person in her entire short life, that being Saen after he threatened her while she was tending to his wounds.
  • Despite the fact that Winifred grew up not knowing Shane and living right close to her mother, she hates her mother and loves Shane dearly.
  • Winifred has a deep fear for ships after her boat was attacked by void tendril beasts on the sail home from the front. Nevertheless, she still sails if she truly must.
  • Winifred has a tendency to faint when overstimulated or overly anxious and has done such since a young age. Due to this, she carries melodin everywhere.
  • She fears that she'll be judged as something ununionist due to her background - her mother being a mage that was rather disliked by lots within the law and politics.
  • Winifred would love to find a friend that she could talk with about her beliefs, but she feels as if she did so with any of her current friends, they'd be insulted.
  • Winifred has a lot of cousins due to her large family, but one of her favorites from her Aunt Czylle is her son, Stefan von Rahm. She just finds her honestly adorable and fun to talk to when she has no one else to be around. Which is a lot of the time due to her closed in nature.
  • She didn't know she had a twin brother until she met her father. Which was sometime around the age of fifteen to sixteen, right after the two had reunited. To her shock, her birth mother, who had lingered around her whole childhood despite her being in the von Rahms' care, had never mentioned the brother to Winifred.
  • Winifred is actually rather outspoken and bossy despite her initial view. She tends to wait until she can gently take the spotlight or find a moment of silence to steal the scene, though if she's interrupted or proved wrong, she'll very quickly fall off her track and back into silence.
  • Winifred wants to become a midwife for Regalia when she grows up, rather than just your everyday medic. She finds that there is not a lot of publicity for the struggle of mothers and their nurses and wants to change that.

AurƩlie Calvet
  • Despite being a vampire, AurĆ©lie likes to watch violence than be the one committing the acts. Something about watching two people tear each other apart gives her a pleasure like no other.
  • AurĆ©lie hates cats with a burning passion.
  • AurĆ©lie can't properly say the word "marvelous"
  • AurĆ©lie will sometimes switch to her native tongue(D'Ithanie) randomly, especially when in an argument with someone or drunk.

Thomas of Rothburg
  • While he doesn't show it, Thomas is very clever and extremely dangerous in battle. He can act as a one-man siege crew for almost any building, but he usually falls in line to fill in holes instead or someone ends up standing in front of his line of sight 'for the sake of battle.'
  • Thomas secretly loathes many of the people he talks to, but he's usually not rude enough to tell them or fears he will be all alone if he did.
  • Thomas didn't start swearing until he worked with Urijah and Shane in the guard forces.
  • Thomas has a very active sex life despite being staunchly conservative in all other senses. He just wants to find someone who loves him, but ends up in one-night stands instead because no one wants to be committed to him.
  • Thomas gets an average of 3-4 hours of sleep a night, which primarily drives his passion and aggression.
  • Thomas has a tattoo of an iron spire down his entire back with a Unionist Eye at its peak and iron chains wrapping around every rib to his sternum.
  • Thomas is entirely based on a Rhodok mercenary I created in Mount & Blade: Warband, which is why his surcoat is white + baby blue with an iron bugle being his 'home logo.'
  • Thomas' surcoat skin is my OOC skin because he is my biggest self-insert yet.
Wilfre Vaendit
  • Wilfre will not accept any food offered to him if he didn't watch it being made out of fear of it being poisoned. As such, he prides himself in purposefully cooking and chopping in front of his customers every single ingredient.
  • Wilfre believes he is immortal to all but old age because "I'm not going to die to what I'm not stupid enough to test."
  • Wilfre is almost entirely infertile because of constantly being kicked in the genitals. His current daughter is both a mystery to me and him, but the d100 (an exact 1) insists it is fate.
  • Wilfre's first rendition was a novice light blinding battle-med who was afraid to stand alone. Most of this is still in his backstory.
  • Wilfre has over 10 character kills, two of which being Arken; almost 5 times the amount of kills Ichabod had. Most of the 'nonsense' he babbles on about actually happened, but no one believes him.
  • Due to characters around him constantly time-skipping, Wilfre is, at this moment, 399 years old.
  • Wilfre named his daughter Mercy after the unnamed melody Arken child being possessed was mercy-killed by him and him alone.

Valeria 'The Fallen Wolf'
-Valeria is a current alias for this Witchblood. Her birth name being Verlajo'no and later developing into Anna Caladwen.
-Valeria is all for blood and gore even though she strictly has a 'no harm unless needed' code.
-Valeria was (and still is) an undisciplined soldier during her years, often times going off on her own mini-missions.
-After becoming a Phantasma, Valeria tried to disappear into Daendroque before returning due to a promise to her nephew.
-Contracted Vampirism multiple times, her final turning earning her a traitor's branding.
-Oddly enough ended up getting herself banned from drinking within her household.
-Managed to be banned from all guard charters.
-Valeria has a developing memory issue, forgetting names and events.

Freya Elizebeth Grey

Freya adores cooking and baking!
  • At a young age, the learnings Alchemist wanted to know what else she could mix and brew. And one day while watching her father make dinner, she found just that. Astonished as she continued to watch her father make her meal she every night, she asked if she could help one night, and despite how disastrous the results were- Flour, eggs, and seasoning ending up littered across the counter and floors- she happily set her sights for a hobby upon learning to cook! To this day, she has a book of recipes that she holds dear to her heart. She has documented plenty of personal recipes in her book that she enjoys making, as well as larger meals for gatherings and to bring to work to serve to her patients! The woman has, over a long period of time adding more and more to her book of recipes, formed a side hobby of saving money to one day open a restaurant within Regalia, and become well known for her cooking. Of course, this is a mere side hobby and dream, something for her to reside to if her career as an Alchemist ever flops.
Freya would be diagnosed with anxiety!
  • Having been abandoned multiple times in her lifetime, but the most well remembered time in her life was at the young age of ten. Her step mother was a sick and twisted woman, and often forced Freya to do the house chores- Be it one way, or another. After being abandoned at an Orphanage entirely, she was left scared and alone. That, on top of several more minor cases where she was abandoned, someone died, or the rare occasion where she was flat out attacked or nearly killed, have caused her once very minor case of Anxiety to become a larger problem. She has suffered eleven anxiety attacks total, but thanks to her adoptive father, it hasn't affected her day to day life too much excluding a few times where she'll refuse to leave her house for a few days.

Freya has a pet dog named Pip!
  • After finding a stray dog in the streets of Regalia, she has since brought it home- against her previous roommates will- and cared for it. She dubbed the 'little' dog Pip, which would become a rather ironic name as time went on, and the dog turned out to be an almost three foot tall Anglian Shepard. Of course, she referred to him as Pip all the same, absolutely adoring her pet, and putting almost as much care towards him as she does herself. Of course, taking care of a pet is a struggle in a famine, but Freya doesn't mind in the slightest. She gives him scraps and bits of food from her meals, and feeds him what she can manage while out and about Regalia.

Freya loves cake!

  • Freya will eat any kind of cake you lay out on a plate for her. Be it chocolate, vanilla, caramel, butterfinger, cheesecake- You name it, she'll eat it. Her favorite, however, is red velvet cake, paired with heavily sweetened tea.

Nouveau Mae Tempete

Nouveau loves to write!
  • Neu has journals among journals among journals of her documenting her life. She writes at the end of every day, contrary to popular belief that Kathar are uncultured and incapable of such basic essentials. She has up to eight journals as of now, all documenting each day of her life in extreme detail, recalling everything down to a T. Some have wondered how her memory serves her so well- And the answers are in those journals. All marked with years she wrote them, all it takes is her plucking a book from a shelf and skimming through the pages for a date to recall exactly what happened on a certain date. Where this started off as a hobby, it has since become an obsession, her will to write each and every day pairing well with her goal to one day become something more than a 'filthy Ashskin.' If she doesn't successfully do such, she believes that at the very least, her collection of writings will go down in history.

Nouveau is a bit of a hoarder!
  • Where she keeps everything organized and cleaned to the best of her abilities, Neu has trinkets, books, gadgets and so on littering the shelves and tables of her home. She's collected them all over the course of fifty eight years, and even still carries around a large satchel that was given to her when she was only fourteen. It's a shocker it still works- Of course, this could simply be because she puts a heavy amount of effort into keeping it in tack, being as it is her largest and most favored Satchel. Atop this, she has a wardrobe of far too many outfits. Being as she hasn't apparently aged since she was thirty, growing out of her clothes hasn't been a problem in a while. Thus, she has multiple outfits, tops, bottoms and dresses from various cultures. Some from her own heritage, others consisting of regal dresses and tunics. Finally, her collection of jewelry. Obtained after the death of one of her wealthier adoptive parents, she has a massive collection of jewelry that she adores. More often than not, her neck, ears, and fingers are adorned in rings, earrings and necklaces. Some may argue her collection of items is a problem, but others may consider it a feat due to her low social status in comparison to such a collection.

Nouveau has a cat named Violet!
  • Ironically, Neu has what can be referred to as a Void Cat! More specifically, an Anglian Missier. Received after a long trip exploring Aloria, and one particular visit to Anglia, she carelessly put down a pretty penny for the cat, fascinated by the literal stars and galaxies in the animal's eyes. She took the cat with her for the rest of her travels, naming her Violet. Since then, Violet has become a favored companion and a member of Neu's large and growing family. Not to mention, the pet has become a natural favorite to her fiancĆ©, who's still very much attached to the void. Neu has kept close care for the animal, despite the recent famine, feeding the little house cat bits of food and scraps leftover that Neu's children refuse to eat, or simply forget are on their plate.

Neu has a closeted love for brownies.
  • Neu refuses to let others know of her most favored midnight snack. Reason? Because she fears that her fiance, little ones, and family will steal her the sweet treat. She hides a stash of brownies in two places in her home, and always carries a bag of the treats with her to munch on if she get's hungry.

Only those he believes faithful, like Victor and especially Elsin, are tolerated in the end. And Wilfre.

A10DA6AA-8637-4441-9C28-2A8A3C6A5C6F.webp

Elsin Collins
  • Elsin was a character I killed off like two years ago, and resurrected with an almost entirely new backstory.
  • Elsin is my second youngest character to date, but probably the ones whose age is best portrayed by her actions and attitude.
  • Elsin's prinary mood is "hangry." Same, tbh.
  • Elsin died by drowning, but doesn't fear the water. Probably because she doesn't recall the circumstances leading up to her death.

Hank Delmonte
  • Hank has a spiritual ancestor named Alma, who was like Hank, but evil.
  • Hank was also supposed to be a boy, but I decided to make her a female because I felt like what the roleplay scene needed was an annoying, pants-wearing, plant licking girl.
  • Hank hates Ithanians. What's not to hate?
  • Hank loves Allar and Yanar. What's not to love?
  • Hank loves pickled and fermented foods. Gross, tbh.
  • Hank has an irrational fear of being poisoned because...
  • Contrary to popular belief, she knows when she's being annoying. Being irritating and loud and stupid brings her joy, but she's pretty sure it'll be the end of her.
  • Hank's personal hero is famed Anglian alchemist Alestaire Middencroft, and dreams of having a potion named after her just like he does, but...
  • Hank is slated to die a semi-premature death by alchemical explosion now that she has been shelved. Sorry, Hank.
  • Hank also had a cat named Garbage.

Most of all: I don't and can't stick to a predesigned character. Characters evolve as I play them. I can't even keep a personality trait "set in stone". I usually start with a name, a gender, and an occupation/goal, and let their personalities develop as I play them.

and a lot of inside jokes from The Office. why was i so into that show wtf

Hal Zts
-Hal's brother died shortly after leaving regalia.
-Hal is currently having a large telescope built in his house, and plans to use it for scholarly pursuit.
-Hal finds Sa-Allar incredibly attractive, but no other form of allar.

Lazarus Lupenzi (d'Soleil):
  • Laz was originally actually named 'Renae' at birth, but quickly learnt the insults werent to stop flying during his stay with the Bloodcasts, then choosing a far 'knightier' name for himself : Lazaruz. (Later informed he'd been spelling it wrong for twenty years)
  • He has around, 15 dogs give or take.. Some of them including but not limiting to over the years:
  • Sigrun
  • Aldo
  • Dick
  • Balls
  • Socks
  • McGee [REDACTED]
  • Once kicked Jared Kade harshly in the groin during a brawl at the Regal Bastion under the influence of Rikkira.
  • A majority of his subordinate languages have been picked up through ventures with women of other culture.
  • His mother is infact a sanguine! (Creepy lore story I wrote ages ago on that.)
  • When I was a noob, he was essentially just a cross between Star-lord and the elventh doctor.. You could tell I was young when he was made; This also leads into that i c o n i c bowtie he's had on and off ever since his creation. because bowties are cool
  • His accent is some odd mix-breed of ones heard at the Bloodcast, alongside Ithanian (French) and somewhat Irish all the same.. How that sounds? Don't ask me. I have no f*cking clue.
  • HE HAS A WHOLE SPOTIFY PLAYLIST BY YOURS TRULY.. I'm a little extra. yes.

    alright, this was fun.
    See ya space-cowboy!

Christopher Black
  • True to the sea-faring stereotype, Christopher has a fascination for treasure, and exotic plants and animals. He wishes to add the importing of exotic animals to his business portfolio, selling them on to the menageries of the nobility.
  • Christopher bought [in-game] a tusk of a baby Gargantuan Stoneback Phant from a Qadir diplomat. The tusk hangs proudly above the fireplace in Christopher's favourite lounge room in his estate.
  • Christopher is scientifically-minded and has very good analytical skills. He's strong at topics like mathematics.
  • Christopher is not very religious. He's a good "Unionist" and goes to services, but this is moreso due to his cultural upbringing and his very real loyalty to the Emperor and Empire. However, like many of the sailors on his ships, Christopher oddly is a little superstitious, even though he's also aware that there's no logical or empirical reasoning behind his superstitions. Well, probably not, anywayā€¦right? -Christopher edges away from the sinister-looking black cat, just in case.-
  • Christopher is more of a natural introvert. He's learned to play the part of an extrovert at e.g. events he hosts out of necessity, due to his position as a public figure.
  • Christopher enjoys music. He often keeps a harmonica in one of his jacket pockets, for use on voyages out at sea. To pass time, when Christopher was imprisoned by the Songaskians for three months during their occupation of Regalia, his played harmonica a lot.
  • While his sailors drink a lot of rum, Christopher doesn't actually drink much. It's a false stereotype. He believes that an Admiral and title holder should keep a clear head. He often has a mug of the stuff sitting on a table in front of him though, for appearances, to fit in with the social crowd.

> Griselda:
- Has always been very afraid of Non-Ailor because she spent most of her life around Claiths and only Claiths, turning this xenophobia into a habit of discrimination.
- Keeps too many things to herself, usually brushing off things that irk her with talk of her favourite and only crow, Imp.
- On the topic of pets, she has only ever had one besides Imp-- that being a caterpillar.
- Compulsively hoards and lusts after gems and jewelery.
- Loves green a bit too much.
- Her favourite drink is ale, but she can only take about three pints.
- After learning her lesson with 'Cecile', she now tries to steer clear of mystics.
- Shares a birthday (March 27th) with my favourite brit bhabie @dulcissima
-Frequently finds herself swayed by others. Not because of an innocent uwu naivety, but because she currently lacks a concrete idol of worship.
> Tsetsiliya:
-Around everyone that isn't involved with her business persona, she has a largely immature attitude because to her, she's still living the carefree life of a sea-bound swashbuckler.
-Doesn't understand consequences, especially when they involve pain. Instead of curling up into a ball, she takes hits with an alarmily masochistic reaction.
-Deeply enjoys the colour combo of plum and burnt orange.
-Really wants her finger to be chopped off and stitched back together.
-Very rarely sees Non-Ailor as anything but property because of her family business, and you can often find her taking jabs at anything that isn't in chains.
-Looks up to her oldest brother Yuriy a bit too fervently.
-Keeps her lost eye in a jar ontop of her dresser. Granted, it's not in it's best shape due to how it was removed, but Tsetsiliya still cherishes it.
-Wants a ferret, but she doesn't want to admit it.

Cro-Zzhin Yaotl Trivia Time
  • Though he cannot wear the clothing of Stefan de Stefan, he collects any and all pieces he can get his hands on to display for his own visual enjoyment.
  • The Cro-Allar skull he carries about is his father's, the macabre fetish is both a reminder and an advisor he consults when experiencing intense anxiety.
  • Cro-Zzhin listens to Colonial Cultural music in his free time when he writes his screenplays. Or rather, lounges on a couch as he vocalizes his ideas to an Al-Allar scribe.
  • Cro-Zzhin keeps a Meetok Fish tank and has one served every friday as to celebrate the end of a week.
  • Though he may appear to be a progressive individual, most often it is simply due to Allar society, in actuality he is as much as a racist as an average Ailor.
  • He believes nothing is of coincidence, there is a puppeteer behind the world's many major catastrophes and plots.
  • Onyx for its bold appearance is his favorite stone to wear.
  • He usually douses his clothing in lavender fragrances.
  • Cro-Zzhin is rather practiced in self-body care and can do your nails if you ask the right way.

Gawainne Velasquez
  • Gawa is half Kathar! Though, she often hides this. She often hides her whole half-elvish identity, actually. She grew up in Daendroc, where anti half-elf sentiment is very strong. She clipped her ears when she was a teenager, and since has claimed to just be a tall Ailor. She'll claim her mother was Altalar if her half-elvish identity was discovered.
  • Gawa isn't Gawainne's real name. By birth she is Sofia vino de la Velasquez, though she dropped her birth name shortly after her possession. The name comes from a katharic tomb, ironically enough, the same tomb that she became a Defiler of Hallows in.
  • Despite being a Defiler, Gawa hates looking at corpses. Or, at least, fresh ones. She is perfectly fine with robbing the grave of a person long dead, but when it comes to killing somebody, or defiling a fresh corpse, she doesn't have to stomach for it. The undead and withered bodies do not disturb her, but fresh corpses are something she will rarely mess with.
  • Gawa takes very special care of any construct she creates, often treating it as her child. Along with the meticulously carved void script designs, she often paints the skulls of her constructs based on the 'personality' of the bones and the construct in question.
  • Gawa takes joy in botany. Since becoming possessed, she has become anti social and reserved, becoming ever more nervous around the living. Only being surrounded by inanimate bones became lonely for the woman, so she started growing plants. Often times, her plants are one of the very few things that keep her going.
  • Gawainne has had two children, both are still in daendroc and were born out of wedlock. I am considering allowing them to be played in the future.
  • I plan to make Gawa a mage in the future, just have to wait on the special permissions things
  • Gawa is actually result of a few old character ideas mashed together. Initially she was going to be a full re-write of my last archmage, Na'salliou, otherwise known as Spider. But, during writing I took inspiration from another character I enjoyed, a fearful gypsy for a horror-based DnD campaign of sorts. I just kinda mashed both of these ideas together, and re-used Spider's original name, Ala'gawainne, because I happened to like it.
  • I try to be as verbose and descriptive as I can when emoting with Gawa. I take inspiration from lovecraft's writing, and try to not-so-subtly mimic it as I rp with her. It's a fun exercise, and I get to expand my vocabulary.
Mi-Sung Zhao
  • Mi has always been a troubling character, she's gone through about 5 rewrites, each very varying. She started off as a fire-bender esque Chi soldier, turned into a dellusioned traveller, then became a silven for a while, was a construct mage, then did a 180 and became a very religious sun fanatic.
  • The sun fanatic idea came from another server, way smaller than massive, where I played Mi as an acolyte of the sun. It was a lot of fun, the most fun I've had with the character, unfortunately I couldn't recapture the same feeling in massive's lore.
  • I wanted to have Mi grow a cult of shambala-esque sun followers and become a religious figure of note in the old town, but unfortunately religious rp is a lot harder to drive than I thought, and I gave up on this idea after about a month. Now she's in limbo again, though I'm not sure I'll bring Mi back into massive again.

Mateo Silva
  • Upon his arrival to to Regalia, Mateo dropped the particle 'de' from his surname, simply to fit in better with the Regalian population. In formal letters and events, he still often uses it.
  • Though he'll always pride himself as a pure Daendroque Ailor, Mateo's family bloodline is actually very mixed. The de Silva family holds some not-so-distant ancestry from Altalar and even Qadir relatives, and, much to his dismay, a significant amount of Ithanian influence.
  • Mateo keeps a medium-sized fishing vessel (gained through an old player quest) in the Regalian harbor. The ship is named La Comadreja, meaning the weasel.
  • While the Daendroc weasel is used as the symbol of Mateo's family, he actually doesn't like the animals much. He's considerably more fond of capuchinis, and keeps one, named Uno, as a pet. He often states that the capuchini is the only good thing to come from Dressolini lands.
  • Mateo has a fear of cats, stemming from traumatic events in his past. Trying to keep up a fearless, masculine appearance, this is the only fear that Mateo is often seen publicly exhibiting, though he has many more.
  • Mat has a strong addictive personality and most of the negative effects that come with it. Mateo's strong dislike of opium and cigs actually stems from a long and painful history of addiction, though he's never made any real effort to drop his alcoholism.
  • Mateo's biggest fear in life is to be disliked by those he cares for. His father, Guillem, was the man he despised above all else in the world, for his philandering and abusive ways. With the fear that he'd be a negative influence, Mateo has never married or had children.
  • Unfortunately, Mateo sees himself as the spitting image of his hated father. While he often puts on an act of being incredibly proud and vain with his appearance, he's actually very self-conscious about all his imperfections. He can't stand anyone else who exhibits any of the boisterous, pugnacious traits of his father, despite oftentimes surrounding himself with likeminded mercenaries.
  • Given how long he's been traveling outside of his ancestral home, Mateo's thick Daendroque accent is mostly forced. His true accent (which occasionally slips in when he's had enough to drink) is a muddled mix of predominantly Daendroque and Ceardian, with subtle influences from Ithanian and Modern Elvish.
  • Mateo has always wished to be a better musician and dancer, though his artistic studies are always interrupted by martial training.
  • Mat has suffered though many rewrites in the four years I've been playing him. Originally, he was an upgraded version on my first Massive character from way back in my noob days of 2012, and keeps many of the strong central themes: being a nature-loving foreign mercenary with a penchant for partying and drinking.

Zaan Haaven
  • During his younger years, he was once a warrior, protector, and wanderer who wielded a spear. He had a violent past and use to resort to violence over words at one point in time, eventually, karma caught up with him and he renounced his past ways.
  • Zaan use to be a lot more serious, impulsive and straight forward if not rude, as he age he greatly mellowed out into a happy go-lucky persona who acts on a whim. Some who know him often speculate he's hiding or denying something
  • Zaan still has his spear that was made out of advanced nelfinite that he used back in his days as a warrior and cultist.
  • Outside of his marriage with Nadina, Zaan has two children who live elsewhere in the world.
  • Has a near photographic memory, he's especially good with names and faces.
  • Intentionally acts stupid.
  • Gets drunk every thursday night when everyone is asleep and jumps in the river for a late night swim.
  • The Nenyarina made him a terrible person.
Rowan Haaven
  • Rowan is a lot more emotional and caring than he lets others believe, he cares very deeply for his family even though the outward view is often otherwise.
  • He is an awkward mix of introvert and extravert, he does not recharge by being around others but truly loves the company of his friends.
  • Despite caring deeply for plants, animals, nature and being a 'plant himself', Rowan does not enjoy the daytime or morning, infact, his favorite time of day or when he feels the most happy is during dusk or dark rainy days. He prefers the solitude and silence of the night, with the ambience of owls hooting, crickets chirping. Rowan is also not afraid of the things that go bump in the night, or the dark.
  • Rowan has claustrophobia.
  • To all of his children he is considered to be their 'mother', his adopted daughter Silyoran is the sole exception in that he's father to her.
  • Hates the color orange and doesn't like most Nelfin barring some exceptions.
  • Obessively collects and hoards honey on high shelves that he feels his other family members either won't reach or find. He squirrels away whatever jars of honey he can find and has earned the nickname 'Honeybear'.
Pamin
  • Often forgets that he can't see out of one of his eyes, or that he has only one eye at times, despite his typically good memory.
  • Eats all of his food raw, and eats only fish that he himself caught, he will never accept hand outs from others, which makes dinners awkward.
  • Has never had alcohol before.
  • Hates the color yellow and sunflowers make him feel uncomfortable.
  • Shae still owes him a jug of milk. @flareskies
  • Has an excellent memory, particularly revolving around objects, he doesn't often misplace things.
  • Despite coming from a sea clan, Pamin hates the open ocean water or any water he cannot feasibly see the bottom due to past experiences and the loss of one of his eyes, he's totally fine in rivers or off shore water.

Oh wow yay, trivia!

Amelina Peirgarten:

  • Nearly the entire left side of her body, her arm, torso, and leg have burn scars on them from being set on fire by the dragon. The scars on her face while barely visible, were healed over time by Fiske Eberlin. (@Percuriam)
  • Amelina has stolen two helmets during her time in the city, one from the museum and one from a Northerner event.
  • She has tortured two people, one of those people still in the city, the other now dead. (Who she did not kill or order to be killed, contrary to popular belief.)
  • She now has an irrational fear of sand and open beaches.
  • She is proficient in shooting a bow and still remembers shooting an apple mid-air from William Howlester's hand.
  • Her favorite color is pink....shocking.
Ruzalia Riviere nee. Glynthana:
  • Ruza is a scam artist and mage. She can't actually tell fortunes all of the time, but she is convincing enough people believe her through her near 20 years of experience.
  • She is terrified of water and refuses to swim in open bodies after watching a man drown.
  • Her right eye is blind and causes her to not be able to see on that side of her body.
  • She never intended to join in with gang business, but the charms from her now husband, Judas, convinced her enough to join in with it.
  • Ruza is a hoarder. Her shared home is filled with trinkets upon trinkets of items that she refuses to get rid of no matter who they are from.
  • She misses her circus and wishes she could see them again, but knows it would be near impossible.

Nevakko Talafi
  • Nev cannot stay still: Due to his voidling affliction, the silven has a burning sensation to always be moving and wandering. Back in Daen he was satisfied enough living the nomadic life until his burning urge to wander drove him to continue traveling. This case often leads to him wandering rooms when he's bored, or gets uncomfortable when sitting for too long.
  • He finds his eyes a symbolic status: Despite the dislike he grew up with in his society, he found his affliction to be a spiritual and symbolic gift by the gods. Due to the colors of the horde flag he was born to matching his gaze, he felt despite the downtalk and dislike, he was destined for something willed by the heavens.
  • He despises magic: Naturally as an Avanthar, he has a large distaste for the arcane, finding it unnatural, and its given effects. Due to his Silven muters, he is extremely susceptible to magical damage, and can be downed rather easily from just about any arcane attack.
  • He is deeply spiritual: The Avanthar is extremely spiritual and isn't afraid to show it. He is deeply religious in the Avant faith, with bits of connections he's added to his life such as the Arken and Magical events that've affected the world. He believes the gods in the night heavens have all the answers to life, and that all is willed by the old god deities.

A'eollaja Ello'janna
  • She's never had any long term Partner, aside from her betrothed Husband: A'eo has never once had a long-term partner she actually chose. Due to her rather anti-social behavior and chaste, bookworm nature, she never cared much for love or pleasure in life, and only ever found an estranged husband she we betrothed to.
  • She's sired 8 children: Despite her dislike for her husband, she's done her duty of producing heirs to the Ello'janna line. Over a span of nearly half a century, she's produced several children to become the new lineage, her oldest, being played as Patolos Ello'janna. @Goaterguist
  • She's delusionally fanatic: Despite her vast knowledge of the Void and Exist, she's delusional obsessed over the arcane and it's knowledge. She's studied and taught much knowledge over a century, and she still feels she craves more. Her reason for ever leaving the Dread empire was to satiate this obsession by finding more knowledge outside the realm's borders.
  • She spent much of her life in solitude: The Saivale grew up rather anti-social and quiet in her studies. Her tutors were often unneeded as she found more enjoyment in her books than other pursuits after her discovery of magic. For this growing obsession, she often spent much time in solitude within her Family's estate study, reading day and night as she drew in knowledge. This didn't help build her social skills any better in the long-run.
  • Despises the outdoors: Being raised in PaƤrthalaƤr, She often never left the confines of her family's estate, or even the city. For this urban raised Kathar, the Wilderness of the Shenath Steppes or Wolond Walds is almost frightening as it is despised to her. She doesn't feel comfortable in the wilderness and grows rather paranoid around it.

Lliezza Zzarask
  • She's very self conscious: The Slizzar naturally feels she must present herself as beautiful and perfect in each for due to her vanity. She can get a bit self conscious is her tricks or form aren't very appealing, and even more so that of her natural form. She doesn't like to be caught in her natural state by others in worry of not looking appealing.
  • She's never killed anyone: Despite how many places she's weaseled her way in or spied upon, she's never once taken a sentient life. Not that some moral is keeping her from it, but she has no skill to, and believes most can just be handled with her usual tricks all the same.
  • Her favorite weather is rain: The rain often reminds her of her birth place of Hadar, as the tropical place rained quite often.
  • She's never experienced snowfall: Despite the up and coming first snow for Regalia, she's never experienced snow in her life, being every place she's ever lived has been rather hot, humid, or dry.

Akeno Hamasaki
  • Another rendition of a Chi'en-ji cultured halfling. In the form of a familial bond with @Athelois 's help
  • Harbors ADHD or Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder - Stands with the constant fidgeting and short attention span.
  • Favorite season is Fall. - Enjoys the cooldown from humid summers.
  • Favorite weather is rainy overcast. - Just likes clouds and rain, soothes the mind.
  • Incredibly afraid of the ocean. Deep ocean atleast.
  • Doesn't believe coincidences or miracles happen. Akeno believes it's simply what the stars have planned before you, and you follow the path and plan they lead you to for peace and happiness to live as you were placed.
Kichirou Seaoul:

  • Contrary to popular belief, Kichirou was never a pirate as he claims he was. This is always a lie he has used to deceptively hide his deep secretive past childhood.
  • Has suffered from alcoholism to smoking addiction to substance abuse. As the Chi is extremely leaning on his habitual crutches to keep him sane.
  • Incredible charisma draws Kichirou to everyone he meets. As he loves people, however, his mottoo is family first, and his avid friends are his family.
  • Favorite Season is Winter.
  • Favorite weather is a cool sun with a slight overcast.
  • Has experienced several rewrites in his shelf life. Having been an Exist Silven, Soul Mage, Light Mage, Void Silven, Vampire, Undead and just a normal Chi with a bandana.
  • No longer wears his bandana. As when he was believed dead. Taliandra Jouhari took it and continues to wear it on her arm in his remembrance of her friend. The other half. @Katiesc

Mae Draylas
  • She was an incredibly gremlin-like child. When she was younger, she tried to eat a roach thinking it'd be crunchy. She only got to bite down on it though, cause she spit it out when she realized the legs were still moving in her mouth.
  • .. She also crushed spiders that she found in the corners of her house. I don't know what else you'd expect from her, honestly.
  • She had a sketchbook from her childhood that she'd scribble in, mostly filled with doodles of what she imagined her Arken to look like. Most of them are really poor charcoal sketches though, and probably look pretty cryptid at this point, tbh.
  • Mae's actual name 'Masuyo' is really reserved for her brother, as she feels like she's being scolded if anyone else uses it.
  • Mae keeps around a spoon on her at all times, mostly because if conversation ever runs dry, she likes to imagine she could fall back on showing off the fact she can balance a spoon on her nose. Which, she definitely can.
  • She has strange food habits. She bites into her lemons raw, and can, certainly- swallow a dry spoonful of cinnamon, although she probably choked the first time she tried it.
  • She's horribly scared of entrapment and thunder, the latter being a more 'recent' development, as it reminds her of when she was locked in a crumbling cell and was left to breakdown.
  • Mae's incredibly attached to spice desserts, having a liking towards chai-like drinks and such. Her favourite flavor of cookie is spiced chocolate-chip!
  • Mae's favourite season has to be fall, and she actually has a very strong disliking towards winter- It's convenient coat weather, but she finds snowfall to be incredibly bland and disappointing, considering it drains the visuals of her surroundings in her frank opinion. She does quite like Hallow's Eve however, considering it lines up with all her tastes and visual pleasures! Mae's a definite fan of dressing up for the holiday as well.
  • She's always stubbornly stuck to the idea of never fully-dying her hair or changing herself whatsoever, if it deceived from her natural visage. She refuses to ever change her name, or change her hair to an extent where you couldn't see the black in her roots. She's pridefully attached to her identity and the idea of it being forcefully changed genuinely frightens her.
  • Mae's entirely convinced that she'll be the one to take herself out if she has to. While she isn't entirely serious about the whole 'immortality' joke with her friends, she still believes she'll live as long as she needs and potentially will figure out a way to live even longer one day, and if she can't- she certainly doesn't want anyone else to have the pleasure of taking her out. She just wants to die as she lived, smug as ever.
  • Mae owns a pair of candle-mice with her lover Djanira, Mae having ownership over a pale-brown mouse named Kaffee, Djanira owning a white-furred mouse named Cocoa.

Cieli Le'vilja
  • Cieli's fear of Kathar stems from a childhood incident where one broke into her family apartment and attempted to kidnap her. This is the main reason why she publicly seems to despise the race, and often times will even go out of her way to avoid them.
  • The two of her most prominent childhood caretakers, besides her father, where an older Medlo-Altalar scholar of military history who was a trusted employer of her father, and a Lledlo-Altalar healer who was a good friend of her parents.
  • Cieli has never had a pet, but she really wants a dog.
  • Cieli has rarely been to a beach, despite growing up in a coastal principality. This is because her father often avoided them when she was a child because they reminded him too much of her mother, while as an adult, Cieli simply does not feel a need to go to one.
  • Cieli's mother worshiped VaĆ©llĆ«-talceƭƤ and was a sailor in the navy that protected Ƌs'l SƤlarna and her father is a mercenary who follows Sca'ellĆ©-dĆ”jƶ.
  • Cieli blames herself for her mothers death.
  • Having grown up in a homophobic society, Cieli is fearful of her attraction to females. She often wonders if she angered Estel, and if this is her punishment.
  • While she claims she chose to worship Amme-ejul'oa to give back for the charity she received as a child, she in fact chose him because the idea of being self indulgent appealed to her.
  • Cieli struggles to read books without pictures in them, as she finds them boring.
  • Cieli was originally nicknamed 'Hijna', but she thought this sounded like the name of an old lady so she changed it to 'Cieli'.
  • Cieli dislikes the wilderness, as she sees it as chaotic and treacherous. She's fine with city parks, though.
