On a very personal note, I have recently learned the definition and purpose of Wintertide. What a strange, if mildly enlightening concept. Ahead of such festivities and with my kindest regards,

Benevolent and commercially-minded administrator that I am, I have decided to reinstate some familiar titles of previous regimes, though with certain caveats. To remind you, these now open positions are as follows:

• Chief of Security [Militia Lead]
• Chief of Faiths [Religion Expert]
• Chief of Construction [Construction Manager]
• Chief of Events [Event Manager]
• Chief of Magic [Magic Manager]

Applications for appointment are by letter. No paywall, though no salary. In addition to implied-by-title responsibilities, all Chiefs must fulfill the following requirements:

>Maintain a business employing 1 or more persons within Crookback Borough.
>Meet bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) with the Mayor for agenda-setting.
>A secret third thing.

In your letter, succinctly and clearly answer the following question.
'How will I improve Crookback's efficiency?'

In other news.

As Crookback Borough is a place of industry and commerce, I hereby announce the implementation of a Transport Licensing Mandate, which shall enforce the following bylaw.

• To operate aerial, mechanical, or equestrian means of transportation without the proper documentation, is illegal.

Those wishing to operate said movement machinery (or 'machinery') will be asked to complete a brief safety course regarding right of way, appropriate speeds, parking/landing procedures, and other such items of importance.

After the successful completion of said course, any local may possess a [A]erial, [M]echanical, or [E]questrian transit license ((Minecraft Book)), depending on their chosen method of advanced locomotion. Locals may collect more than one license if so required, but will require another test relevant to operation. Note that simply possessing these items is not grounds for persecution. If you wish to walk alongside your horsie, that is fine.
