Archived Building Modification Idea.

I was thinking of an idea that could possibly help towards with the upkeep costs of the server and other financial area's of MassiveCraft.

I've recently started my shop in Regalia "Voidgate Salvage Shop" and now that I'm starting to get it up and running well, there are a few things I would like to change about it to better suit my needs.

"But that could also help with costs for MassiveCraft".

So my idea was to see if we could have a Building Modification Plan. Where we could have a modification done to either our shop or house in Regalia for a one off PayPal transaction fee.

The idea would be to have on the forum posts an extra area to have a planning application form to which we fill out and wait to see if out modification would be accepted.

Then to have the modifications split in to three categories they would be:

• Small Modification
• Medium Modification
• Large Modification

A small modification could consist of a door being moved or a window being sealed, or to an extra door being place and for an extra window.

A medium modification could consist of a upper floor being removed for an open plan feel or lights to be placed within the wall's.

A large modification could consist of a cellar being built in or possibly a balcony being built in.

As for costs of modifications well that would be down to the discretion of the owner and staff.
but for an example something like:

• Small Modification $1.50
• Medium Modification $2
• Large Modification $3

Which could be implemented on the MassiveCraft.com website, but for a warning note i would put "do not purchase until you have completed the online building modification application form as refunds for none completion are none refundable".
Like I've written its only an idea and I only asked as I myself would love this feature and be more than happy to pay for these types of modifications. But also there could possibly be a market for an extra income to help with costs of running the new awesome servers.
Also the modifications could be put back to what they was once before if say a player no longer wants the shop/or house or said player leaves the server.

Perhaps also an option for someone to pay silver. You could also have the option of PayPal, but this could be so that players who do not have PayPal or money can still use this.

What is your plan to stop everyone in regalia doing this and Regalia becoming one large "clump of buildings...

Hence, to prevent it looking like that, mods would simply deny the application.
