I think it is a great idea, gives another layer of feedback besides only writing a reply. Wonder why it was removed |-(.

I imagine they were removed for one of the following reasons
1) People were disliking the every post of people they hated
2) People were using alternate accounts or getting friends to like their own posts
3) Hardy was jealous because I had more positive ratings than him
If it was either 1 or 2, I think the staff wouldn't have wanted to have to spend their time moderating ratings.
