Blight Relief Association

The Blight Relief Association is a collaboration of clinics, volunteer aid workers, and private physicians funded or backed by Houses Kreiburg, de Piedmont (along with branches Wulfmacht and Valitorp), and Vyzal, dedicated to combating the recent Blight outbreak. Entities involved with the Blight Relief Association will work to survey and research the Blight, aid those affected either through means of medical or financial support, and ultimately quell the spread of the Blight.

Blight Relief Association founders:
  • Duke Theopold Kreiburg
  • Duchess Violetta de Piedmont
  • Digmaan Cro Maarx

Each has brought their own team to the table to undergo a joint venture for the betterment of the Archipelago at large. These include:
  • The Burning Bridges Clinic, owned by House Kreiburg
  • The Morbus Imperium Clinic, owned by House Vyzal
  • House de Piedmont's private medical personnel

Between these groups are a strong number of medics, alchemists, botanists, and other specialists.

Finding a Cure

The Blight Relief Association also serves as a research panel. While delivering immediate aid to those at risk is of paramount importance, the Association is actively pursuing a cure or at least some form of permanent response which is preferably of mundane creation. The Blight Relief Association founders believe a mundane cure to be more acceptable by local farmers and more easily adoptable. Thus, the Blight Relief Association aspires not to rely on arcane means in their search for a cure and while responding to the crisis.

How to Get Involved

Volunteering

Volunteers are welcome to join the Association. Naturally, there are prerequisites as to who can volunteer as missions abroad the Archipelago can be costly and possibly dangerous for untrained personnel.
  • All applicants should have some prior experience in a field such as medicine, alchemy, botany, or research related to these topics.
  • All applicants should write to one of the founders with their interest (a forum letter, discord letter, or sending your letter on this thread are all acceptable means of communication).

Funding

Whether noble or commoner, the Blight Relief Association eagerly accepts financial support of any amount.
  • All funds will be placed in a collective account which will be used only for Blight Relief aid and research toward finding a cure.
  • If you would prefer your funding only go to one of these activities, you may specify in your letter.
  • Noble houses who donate may choose to be publicly recognized for their humanitarian support
  • Please notify a founder with your donation before sending it in (forum letter or discord letter is fine, publicizing your donation is also fine).

The Cloth

Men and women of the cloth are encouraged to join the Blight Relief Association.
  • The Association believes that in these troubling times, those affected by the Blight do not only need means of physical support but also spiritual support so they might be uplifted and encouraged to rebuild themselves greater than before.
  • If you're interested, write one of the founders (forum letter or discord letter).
