- He is a Forneik Chapter Bloodcast, otherwise known as a Great Oak Knight. This has brought him here and there within the Empire, wherever a 'monster hunter' is needed. Sometimes he hasn't returned to a village with the head of some beast that plagued the denizens, and instead simply said something to the effect of 'it won't be bothersome much longer, if at all'. He has yet to be proven wrong, but some call him a terrible knight for it.
- Arthur was raised at the northern mouth of the Schoenn river, a heart of trade for the Regalian Empire in Rosendale. This exposed him to many different cultures, peoples, and gave him the opportunity as a child to be ferried off to the capital city from time to time while he accompanied his father's business as a merchant of various goods that flowed up and down the river.
- There have been a handful of beasts that have evaded him entirely in his stint as a Forneik Knight. They hold spaces within the compendium that he carries on his person, giving away his belonging to that particular band of monster hunters within the Bloodcasts. Most of these are Marken, but some are simply individuals here and there that transfigure themselves into beasts of myth. A tie-in to his backstory this way is more than welcome.
- Graduating from the Forneik Chapter of the Bloodcasts helped solidify his shaky faith as an adolescent in the gods of the Fornoss pantheons. He's particularly reverent toward Norn and Maevrid, but more so curious of Taran for somewhat obvious reasons. While he still is faithful, he has not explored much of his faith beyond the quaint prayers he had been taught as a child in the middle of a Unionist dominated landscape.
