This thread is going to be similar to Jared's "Boxing Day" thoughts thread. I originally meant to do this on St. Stephens' Day (it's not Boxing Day!!). I wanted to thank a few people for their contributions, assistance and being there for me and the server over the past year.
Firstly, I would like to thank @GrumpyGirl314 for everything she has done for me, the server, the staff, our faction and everyone else. This woman has been a guide for me since this time last year. I remember we met at the tail end of 2017, I was originally a shy and non-talkative individual who didn't really enjoy being around people in voice chats. However, Grumpy turned that around and turned me into the loud-mouthed potato I am today. She has been a true mentor and friend. For that, I am eternally grateful. She developed my interpersonal skills through the Delian League and pushed me to go on to staff, probably one of the best decisions of my life. She kickstarted me towards personal and professional development, something that has not only benefited me on the server, but in real life. Thank you.
To @Spectriel and @Siosie, for being the two best friends I could have ever asked for. I don't think a personal bond between myself and another two people has grown so quickly. I remember meeting Spectriel for the first time face-to-face at my codex talk. We had some bad blood between our factions but that soon boiled over and we became close as we drove through aspirancy together. We did a lot of things together, made friends within the staff team and without. Then there is Siosie, where would I be without my big lesbian friend. I remember meeting Sio through CrazeCow, I can't remember exactly how we became friends but as always, staff brought us into friendship. You would soon find ourselves staying up until 3 AM GMT, shouting god forsaken song lyrics and just general demonic rantings into the mic.
To @CS_Birb, thank you for being a great friend over the past year and my personal IT guru. You have been great to be around, with the Father Ted jokes and so much more. Thank you for being a great friend and your massive contributions to the server, contributions which would not allow me to type this message today. The same for @TheComputerGeek2, another good friend and another personal IT guru. Thank you for your contributions, which have been invaluable.
Thank you to @MonMarty, @LumosJared and @SpunSugar. You three have helped me develop personally and professionally. You helped me mature as a person and developed professional skills that I can use on Massive and outside of MassiveCraft. Your direction, guidance, vigor and passion have all had a great effect on me and I cannot thank you enough for the opportunities you gave me over the past few months.
Thank you to @mcmann, @lunarepiphany, @Jaehaerys, @MadamAries, @Winterless, @falconhand, @Ddafad, @Nano_Kay, @SubscriptShark, @Ryria, @Percuriam, @Mojaven, @65jes89, @Alj23, @seoulmate, @Scribbe, @MokeDuck, @Enkiduu, @Aresi, @Sephite, @Zacatero, @oitzdecwx, @Omnonmivore, @Julu8, @CharlieML, @aprader1, @Markisbeest, @DrFong, @_Owlet, @Mooffins, @Maytee, @Billingsgate, @Kaezir, @Sevak, @jquaile, @Viscar and many others I cannot name. Thank you for being great friends, colleagues and so much more. I have all been friendly or worked with yous over the past year and you are all very much valued.
And to everyone else out there I cannot mention individually, or I would be here all night, thank you for your contributions over the past year. Oh, and @Huinkoch, thank you for being one of the most surprising people I have met all year.
Call this a bit of an odd post or a bit cringy, it's just me spilling my emotions and flashbacks over the last year.
Thanks again.
