Well, that was probably the longest title ever. Anyway, I present to you, SenorWorkman's vampire punishment suggestion!

I have heard people saying vampires should be able to be killed by anyone in Regalia, which is obviously ridiculous because people would just run around hitting one another until they got lucky. But my idea keeps vamp's secrecy if they hide it with RP, and punishes the noobs who bound through the air blood lusting during executions. The idea is this: if a vampire turns on bloodlust in Regalia, they are prone to attacks from other players. If they die, it teaches them a lesson. If they live, it will still teach them to be more careful. To make things fair, I think that if a vampire turns on bloodlust in Regalia, they will get a notice saying WARNING: If you bloodlust in this area, you are able to be attacked! Also, a side note, vampires getting attacked in bloodlust will not be able to fight back. Also, this might be to much, so maybe they could only be attacked with a certain item, like Holy Water for example.

EDIT: Due to popular demand I have decided to take Flazhfire's advice and say that if this is implemented, vampires would be able to fight back, but they would deal 30% less damage then normal. Please let me know what you think of this new addition, and thanks again to Flazhfire for the contribution!

That is all.

1) This idea is already under consideration by the admins.
2) lol, that title will get a lot of posts.
3) Be ready for a lot of dislikes, vampires are against this idea.

This idea is absolutely insane. When would it ever be fair that EVERYONE can hit the vamp, and they can't fight back?

They can only attack the vampire if they use bloodlust. Not if they are walking around, not if they are on fire from the sun, not if they are using knight vision or drinking blood, this is solely an anti-blood lusting in Regalia movement. This does not apply to any other worlds besides Regalia. And it won't be everyone, only people with a certain item, if that part is implemented.

Wouldn't it be more fun to RP as a vampire when there's actual incentive to try to hide your condition? I really don't understand why vampires are against this feature. You're a creature of darkness and evil, EMBRACE IT!

Vamps should be able to defend themselves. The fact that they cant is pretty troll.

None of that really matters, as you are not allowed to kill or majorly change someone's RP character. So, in my mind, it's kind of pointless.

Its really not. Think about it. If this was implemented, and vampires were able to be attacked when in bloodlust in Regalia AND they could defend themselves when attacked, wouldn't they just bloodlust around in god gear and slaughter anyone who so much as laid a finger on them? It defeats the purpose.

Well I helped cure Rey, soo this wont apply to me at all. good idea though. on the downside, a bit harsh for vampires... their still people you know.

Yes but this really isn't as anti-vamp as it is pro roleplay. This does not affect vamps at all unless they jump through the anti-vampire city using the dark powers that are supposed to be secret.

Again.... how is it pro-RP if it can't majorly affect someone's RP character?

It is pro roleplay in the sense that it encourages vampires to hide their vampirism. Also, it encourages them to go back into places that were designed for them, such as the undercity. If they bloodlust in the undercity then it most likely no one will be there to attack them. Also, if this is possible, they might be able to fight back in the undercity.

Well I guess those guarding regalia should come prepared in God gear as well. Your staging rp by giving an unfair advantage to one side. Evil can prevail if the side of good is weak. How non rp is iy to have a pathetic guard?

It does bother me that I can watch people bloodlust around Regalia while I lead my troop of vampires through the shadows. I say let the noob vamps burn, good plan so long as it only applies to bloodlusters.

I think vamps should be able to defend themselves. Think of it like this: Outside of regalia, if a vamp had god armor, their attacker would either have high McMMO or god armor to prevail. Why can't it be the same in Regalia?

This is what I call an RP excuse: The holy power the church radiates prevents mostly prevents vampires from harming others. However, if they can get close enough, the blessing isn't invincible and they can still bite a blessed one through it (/v o and /v bite [If they implement it]).

Cmon people! THIS IS A PVP SERVER AS WELL! Stop being so damn squishy.

Imagine browsing the market in regalia and out of nowhere, accross the street, a clan of vampires and guards start battling it out. Add realism by eliminating. Limitation. This gives both sides a fighting chance.

Maybe grixer has a point, if someone attacks a vampire while it is bloodlusting the vampire should be able to fight back, however the vampire should not be able to start the fight. This would add to RP but still would make vampire have a disadvantage because, in my experiance, if you get one hit on a vampire with a stick they are dead(unless they have good armour).

There will still be a load of vampires in the spawn during the day and saying "lol havnt bloodlusted yet.. CANT HIT ME!! loool"

*Sets up a bunch of dark alters in his house* Now the power is counter-acted. I win.

What if vamps did like 10 to 30% less damage if they attack in regalia? I think that would be fair

Yes I was thinking about this as well, I agree, then they would be be able to fight back. I still think they should be at a disadvantage though, so 30% sounds good! I will edit that in to my post!

I thought through a concept like this a while ago. I think they should be vulnerable for a good 30 seconds after using it, forcing them to maybe hide around a corner or something until the coast is clear.

Well and what about me?!
Im not the kind of vamp Vamp
Sometimes i go to church xD

i like it in a way but personally, i think vampires should be able to attack back (unless in bloodlust) why fear a vampire when they cant follow you to your home and eat ur family? :/ i say give vampires more ways to be villainous. Of course not just any attack at anytime, more like the whole brawl suggestion someone had. its more RPish.

Maybe I missed it, but they don't advertise as such. When I first saw this server, it said MEDIEVAL ROLEPLAY SERVER. And not MEDIEVAL ROLEPLAY/PVP SERVER. That would make them sound confused as to what server they run.
